Everything works like a Swiss watch for email tracking. There are more features that I have not even tried yet, like custom signatures. The soft itself is great, but the "biggest secret" of the Mailbutler is their customer service! Any questions or concerns get immediate attention, and customer support never gives up until the issue/question is solved. I'm sold! **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** The Mailbutler (MB) service/soft is attached in my case to the Apple Mail, which sometimes cause small issues, when Apple comes with a major MacOS update. It happened once during last year, when the Mailbutler was not available for a week when they were reshaping the app to make it work with MacOS Sonoma. I needed two things. First, I needed to have read receipts to see who has opened my emails. Second, I needed to bcc Hubspot so that I can track all my correspondence in there. Plus, their customer support is very quick to respond. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** There's a little bit of bloat on the feature side but I don't use that. Also, getting all information into my CRM by bcc'ing Hubspot. I also appreciate that I can respond to emails and set them to send at a later time, for instances when I am trying to catch up, without letting anyone know I am working at the time. It's also very helpful to see if the person you sent the email to ever received it and/or opened it, it makes follow ups much simpler. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** Sometimes it slows down my email, or my email glitches when trying to send an email. It is very seldom that this happens, so I still think it's worth it! Knowing whether or not recipients are receiving my emails is also helpful. I use Apple Mail and it is the only plug-in for the app that I have consistently used for the last three years and I cannot imagine using Mail without it. As a very small business owner with very big needs for managing and monitoring email, MailButler is a gamechanger. It turns average built-in software into a rival for a full Microsoft Exchange deployement for an individual user, at least in terms of features. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** Every so often the developers will change something and I have to root around to find it. Love it that signatures have the option to attach you company logo. Great branding ability. The signatures allow you to include links to social media sites of yours with the logo of the media site, rather than an ugly link. I can reminders to follow up on emails. Email scheduling is super useful. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** Some receipients' servers servers strip tracking ability. Also, some servers tend to prevent accepting email, because of the large number of receipients in the email. The work around is to group the emails but then you will lose the ability to have everyone's replies being visible to all receipients. **Recommendations to others considering Mailbutler:** If you are an Apple Mail user who wants to use emails with powerful branding capabilities and to ensure delievery and opens and clicks, Mailbutler gives you and affordable way to do it, It is also so simple to use. Just select the signature template of your choice, edit and save. Then on Apple Mail, choose the default signatire for each email account. **What problems is Mailbutler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, I couldn't track who opened my emails and clicked on links and how often they opened as well the time. Now all of these are visible. Now I also have realtime notifictions of when my emails are opened and by whom. I can also get detailed information of each person who opened and clicked on the links in the email. Dont' get me wrong, Mailbutler gives AppleMail many of the features that should have natively, but they also have too many pricing tiers. Particularly useful is the tracking of when the e-mail is opened and when any links in the e-mail are clicked on. The ability to add a follow-up task is particularly useful as it prevents losing track of important conversations. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** 1) Would like to be able to change subject lines of incoming e-mail to something to make them more pertinent for filing, particularly when the content of the e-mail has evolved or changed. This can be done in Office 365 but not in Apple Mail, without exporting, editting and importing the e-mail, which then changes the timestamp and other key information of the e-mail. Not sure if Mailbutler can create a work-around or do anything with this of request. 2) Would like to have better tracking of when multiple recipients open e-mails, but this may be a higher paid subscription than I can currently afford. **What problems is Mailbutler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problems & Benefits to using Mailbutler: 1) Ability to work on e-mails later in the evening and scheduling to send early the next morning while I am busy with other work issues 2) Tracking when recipient opens the e-mail allows me to be prepared for phone calls from recipient or allows me to follow-up with the recipient 3) Ability to add notes to e-mails, particularly when I have a conversation with the recipient. Mailbutler fits right in and is seamless. I can't say enough good things about the UI/UX. The icons are intuitive, the UI is minimalist and easy to navigate and it doesn't make me feel like I have an add-on installed. It feels just like the Apple Mail I know and love. I use about six email accounts all within Apple Mail and Mailbutler handles it all beautifully. I'm looking forward to trying signatures next and exploring the tracking system. Mailbutler is quickly becoming a "must-have" for our company rather than a "nice-to-have." **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** There are almost too many features - it's taking me a bit to learn all of the tools, but luckily their onboarding emails drip helpful tips. I have to admit that it is a touch overwhelming with all of the features. I'd almost like to install each feature one at a time as I need them. Some of the follow-up features took me by surprise. It only took me a minute to hide them, but was a little jarring for the first few hours of using the tool. I'm sure it's awesome once you get the hang of all of the tools, but just didn't have time to learn that. **Recommendations to others considering Mailbutler:** Test out options, but if you're using Apple Mail, the available apps are pretty limited. I'll be honest that I looked at several add-ons and they looked shady, and I wasn't comfortable installing them. Don't be afraid of the cost of Mailbutler. The free version gives me tons of functionality and features. I will upgrade to paid to get all of the bells and whistles because it's a pleasure to use. If you add up the productivity savings, it's worth every penny. **What problems is Mailbutler solving and how is that benefiting you?** I started by looking for an Apple Mail add-on to flag me if I sent an email without an attachment. Mailbutler had great reviews and other great productivity features (like email tracking), so I gave it a try. My productivity has improved, and it has already caught several times where I've wanted to send an attachment but forgot to attach the file. So it's making me look more professional, that's for sure. ### 18. I dreamed of a way on Mac to delay send, schedule send, set follow ups, confirm receipt and searched years ago for such a tool. Bam! Finally found it! The features' value is obvious. The support is great, tingly, personal and accountable to themselves and myself. They constantly innovate. I do wish the price was less but for how much I use email in business I would pay that as an app much like 365 or other. I haven't used the mobile version much yet but have gotten others in my org to use it and they love it. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** Sometimes in the past there was some compatibility problem easily solved by enabling a setting which was often corrected in next version. I found MailButler and it worked well within Apple Mail, which was great as I didn't want to have to learn a new mail app. I also discovered other features like a 10second delay after you hit send, which gives a little buffer in case you hit send by mistake, or those times when you realise you forgot to say something, or got some information wrong. The delivery tracker is also pretty handy - it lets you know if the email has been delivered and/or opened. It has an easy to use interface too which gets out of the way to let you get on with your emails. **What do you dislike about Mailbutler?** There are features to add notes and tasks to an email. I don't use those features as I have a different task management system. But most of the time those features are tucked out of the way - I don't think about them as I don't use them. Also, the free version does not include a lot of the features, but that is understandable. **Recommendations to others considering Mailbutler:** They offer a free trial for a week with no obligation and they will not auto-subscribe you. Be aware that many of the features are not available in the free version. I need to recommend this to my non English speaker friends! I have a tendency to hit send prematurely and I soon after realize that I have the wrong person on the To: section and CC; section reversed.
