"Great for Visuals, Needs Better Command Compliance"
What do you like best about LTX?

I appreciate LTX for its flexibility and creativity, which really depends on how you use it. It's great because our staff resources and talents are limited, so LTX provides an affordable platform to visualize concepts without needing outside help due to cost constraints. I also like how ChatGPT integrates with LTX, as it helps me better articulate the mood, narrative, or setting I want for visuals. Plus, ChatGPT is extremely helpful in suggesting prompts across platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

Tutorials would be helpful - LTX sometimes misinterprets specific commands and when asked to revise a specific correction often does not comply. I have a hard time with prompting on the platform since I often use it for creating visual renderings of proposed developments in a photorealistic setting. Credits were difficult to understand - much trial and error with prompting - some hallucination issues and not following commands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficiency Boost with Minor Tweaks Needed"
What do you like best about LTX?

I use LTX for AI music videos, and I appreciate that 80% of the time it actually works well and can be built onto for videos. I find the audio to be very, very close, and I just need to do minor tweaks later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

I think LTX could improve its audio lip-syncing and be better at following directions. It sometimes goes off and makes up its own ideas. It would be fantastic if there was an edit feature in the studio where you could shift the audio. Also, during the initial setup, it was a bit hard to figure out what to sign up for and what each feature did. There's not much direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Storyboarding Tool with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about LTX?

I like the ability to create the storyboard in LTX. You can create characters and they'll be consistent throughout the entire process, which is important for client work. The LTX team is doing a good job ensuring the same character is consistent throughout the entire storyboard or video. Also, I'm just using the web-based version, so it's pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

Well, it would be nice to be able to reference when you use the references of images you upload. It would be nice to be able to use that reference in creating the videos. I know that's not possible, but I think that that would be a really good, you know, additional feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Creative AI Powerhouse for Storytelling and Video Production"
What do you like best about LTX?

LTX Studio makes it incredibly easy to bring creative ideas to life using AI powered tools. I love how it can generate storyboards, scripts, and even video scenes based on simple prompts. The interface is user-friendly, and the creative workflow feels smooth from ida to final video. It saves me hours of brainstorming and editing, while still giving me flexibility to customize the output to match my style Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

While LTX Studio is powerful, rendering high-quality videos can take a bit of time, especially for longer projects. Some advanced customization features require a learning curve, and I wish there were more free stock assets included. Also, internet connection is essential it would be great to have some offline capabilities. Also the free i mean without upgradation there is very less feature available to test the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ben Lightricks of LTX

We're thrilled to hear that LTX Studio has been instrumental in bringing your creative ideas to life with its AI-powered tools. We appreciate your feedback on the rendering time for high-quality videos and the learning curve for advanced customization features. We're constantly working to improve the platform and will take your suggestions into consideration. Thank you for sharing your experience!

"Efficient Storyboard, but with a High Price"
What do you like best about LTX?

I like the Storyboard feature of LTX. It helps me create scenes for short films and generate videos of a few seconds in order to tell stories. The initial setup of LTX was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

I think LTX continues to be somewhat expensive. Furthermore, it would be good to implement a more powerful AI at the beginning when generating the storyboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visually Creative Tool for Music Videos and Graphic Novels"
What do you like best about LTX?

It allows me to be visually creative. I'm more of a musician but this helps me make rock videos for my band and allows me to work on my graphic novel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

Sometimes I can't login.

It's also a huge resource hog. Shut down everything else if you're using this on an older computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Does NOT make Script-To-Screen, more like Script-To-Slideshow"
What do you like best about LTX?

The WYSIWYG storyboard-first design is better than a chatbot, but they seem to have just copied it from Saga.

It's good they integrated Veo 3 because their native AI Model for video has been unusable since the Beta. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

I was told this can make a real movie, but as a filmmaker I can tell you - in no way - can this make a movie someone would enjoy to watch (let alone pay to watch). I've been using it since the Beta and it makes these like slideshows with a voiceover... no story, no character arcs, no plot twists, just an AI created slop video. I've been following and searching since it launched and there has not been one movie made on this app that's gone viral or won an AI Film competition. The company that makes it don't have experience in film, it looks like they just ripped the design for Saga and raced to add as many features as possible - making it overwhelming, confusing, and hard to use. I got a free code but it wasn't applying and when I reached out to customer support, I never heard back. They don't seem to care or post on their own Discord either. It's expensive so I recommend you pass and try Google Flow instead! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ollie Lightricks of LTX

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts - we genuinely value hearing from filmmakers who are hands-on with the tools. LTX Studio is still growing, and while the technology is new (and not every output feels like a finished film just yet), we’ve already seen creators do some amazing things with it. In fact, films made in LTX Studio have gone on to win international AI film competitions including a recent win at Runway’s Global Competition - which shows the potential is very real.

Our vision is to build LTX Studio with filmmakers, not just for them. It’s not meant to replace traditional filmcraft, but rather to give creators a powerful space for ideation, prototyping, and, with the right vision, even fully realized projects. We’re excited about where this is headed and can’t wait to keep making it better. Hope you’ll stay tuned for what’s coming next but if you ever need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@ltx.studio

"Easy Picture-to-Video Creation with Handy Project Folders"
What do you like best about LTX?

i like the way i can make videos from a picture. Also, I like the Project folder function Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

I’m not crazy about the music option in some of the modules. It would also be helpful to have a “lip sync” feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Poor Customer Service and Inflexible Billing Practices"
What do you like best about LTX?

It allowed me to use google video generator without purchasing a separate plan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

While LTX Studio may have decent creative tools, their customer service and billing practices are extremely disappointing and inflexible.

The Issue: I forgot about an active subscription and was charged for a new billing cycle. Since I hadn't used any services during this period, I requested a refund - something that's typically accommodated by most subscription services when usage is zero.

Policy Confusion: Their own refund instructions page makes no mention of the strict restrictions they later cited (14-day window from first purchase, usage limits). The official documentation simply asks for a screenshot and email address for website purchases, giving no indication of these hidden limitations.

Inflexible Response: Despite providing clear evidence that their policy documentation was misleading and explaining that I had zero usage during the billing period, they refused to make any exception or escalate the matter. Their "strict policy" approach shows little regard for reasonable customer situations.

Bottom Line: If you're considering LTX Studio, be extremely careful about subscription management. Unlike other creative software companies that show flexibility for reasonable refund requests, LTX Studio will not work with you even when their own documentation is unclear and you haven't used their service. "Streamlined creative tool with robust features"
What do you like best about LTX?

LTX Studio really takes the stress out of creative work. I love how it automates storyboarding and keeps character designs consistent across scenes. It’s super intuitive—no steep learning curves—so I can focus on my story rather than wrestling with complex software. The support team is responsive, and frequent updates keep making the platform better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LTX?

Getting started does take a bit of patience, and it took me a while to discover all the features. Some integrations with other tools aren’t totally seamless yet, and a few advanced options could use more tutorials. Still, these are minor compared to the overall benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ollie Lightricks of LTX

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LTX Studio. We're glad to hear that our platform has saved you time in pre-production and enabled you to create polished storyboards efficiently. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to improve the platform for you.
