"Streamlined our log management"

What do you like best about Logmanager?

Logmanager is used by both operations and security teams, and the overall impression is that it just works without overhead. Deployment is straightforward thanks to extensive out-of-the-box parsers and support for most common technologies, which makes integration with our stack easy. Once set up, it runs reliably without babysitting, freeing up our team for other work. Plus, the support team has been excellent whenever I’ve needed assistance. What do you dislike about Logmanager?

Creating custom parsers requires a bit of technical knowledge. However, everything is well-documented, so you can find your way around fairly easily. Adding more advanced correlation features could also help save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple tool with great benefits"

What do you like best about Logmanager?

Basic usage from a user perspective is intuitive. Less common procedures are well documented.

Extensive and good documentation is available.

Implementation and integration with other systems is well documented.

Deployment of the tool is easy and fast.

Manufacturer support is excellent. Technical support people are helpful. They actively help to find the best solution to the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logmanager?

Some features are missing that would move the tool more into the SIEM area and that could be added relatively easily. For example, it would be welcome to add at least simple conditions to the filters that would allow for security analysis in addition to simple searches and viewing logs.

The implemented system of access rights is insufficient.

Configuration objects lack a record of who and when the object was created and later changed. This makes it difficult for multiple administrators to cooperate.

Difficult to transfer the configuration from one Logmanager to another.

We switched to Logmanager and immediately noticed how much simpler it was to get running – most things worked out-of-the-box with minimal tweaking. We also don’t feel like we’re missing anything critical. All the key features we need (alerting, search, retention) are there, but without the endless tuning.
