## About Link Check App
LinkCheck.app is a backlink monitoring tool built for teams already doing active link work. Import existing CSV exports from Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMrush, then track status changes across 13+ event types — including 404 losses, redirect chains, nofollow flips, anchor text changes, and missing HTML — all checked every 24 hours. The free plan covers 1,000 monitored backlinks with no credit card required. Gap analysis shows which domains link to competitors but not to you. Recovery notes and ownership stay attached to each link so follow-up doesn't disappear into email threads or spreadsheet tabs. Built by Matt and Marc LaClear, who bring years of hands-on link building and recovery experience. The product is designed to replace the spreadsheet-and-inbox workflow most agencies default to when managing live placements.
