The Recent Activity tab also speeds up the process if I constantly need to join the same rooms. The quality of the calls have never come into question, they always seem to be top notch. Even if there are slowdowns with my connection, the sound and video quality never seem seem to be massively impacted. Slow internet speeds have also never caused the conference calls to just conclude. **What do you dislike about Lifesize?** Some time the program is stuck on a loading loop and only a restart can fix this issue. The room systems we have are cool too! **What do you dislike about Lifesize?** I wouldn't say that there are downsides particularly to using Lifesize. There are a couple of features that aren't currently available in it which are available in other products but they weren't that significant in our decision making. **Recommendations to others considering Lifesize:** I would recommend ensuring that you understand the concept of the virtual meeting rooms which we didn't quite understand to start with. We're glad we took the time to understand how many we would actually need as we would have run out if we hadn't taken the time to understand how they worked. The high quality (4k) video and audio in our meeting rooms, on laptops and mobile devices allows us to work remotely, communicate effectively and maintain high quality conversation easily. The effectiveness of Lifesize has become very clear over the past few months during the Covid-19 Pandemic. **What do you dislike about Lifesize?** The interface has previously felt a little dated, but it is quickly improving. New features roll out quickly As a standalone platform, it's also important that it integrates nicely with other comms software. Currently, Teams yes, Slack Not so much. Relatively high implementation costs, if you opt for the meeting room setup. If you operate in a meeting room environment, it's worth it though. Occasionally we experience technical / sound / video issues, but this is often the result of poor performing home broadband. Worth noting, as this may affect some remote working staff, or those in areas of the world where FTTH is not available! The lack of ability to do much with a shared screen (draw, make notes, annotate) can sometimes be frustrating, especially when you have Slack available to offer it. **Recommendations to others considering Lifesize:** There are many options out there, but I would seriously consider Lifesize, especially if you need a meeting room setup. **What problems is Lifesize solving and how is that benefiting you?** Effective, high quality conversation with a global team. This helps to reduce travel and phone costs significantly, and maintain on-going working relationships, rather than sporadic. We're able to meet with colleagues, suppliers and clients, even if they are not Lifesize users. This is made particularly easy by the Teams integration. VC (especially meeting room based) functionality is not widely available for teams in China, and Lifesize solves this for us. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has also allowed social gathering for those in the business, ensuring any distanced staff are still socially engaged. ### 14. I know I can change that, but the default should be to let the user decide upfront. That's a drain on resources when not needed.
