After having problems with Cisco and my firewalls, this was a big relief. Fur sure the combination between software clients and meeting rooms online. Also the possibility to easy implement features like recording and streaming. **What do you dislike about Lifesize?** I disliked that it took me a year before I finally found Lifesize as a solution, because my former unified communication provider only advised me Polycom and Cisco equipement. **Recommendations to others considering Lifesize:** Just let an advisor come over and tell your story that you want to reach. Do a trail with lifesize, do meetings with your suppliers and customers. If they don't have any Unified Communication system, they just can use the free Web Application of Lifesize If you have offers from Bleujeans, Polycom, Cisco or other vendors, just take a look at the prices from Lifesize. Not cheap but that is the same with the other professional vendors. I have calculated my return on investment, I think I have earned the system back after 1 year and 8 months. First of all: can't they check who we are before emailing us? Second, if he moved in our territory, maybe he would know we do not use AM/PM and MT... We no longer have to travel for quarterly or monthly meetings, we just start up our conference room and join the scheduled meetings. Sometimes I can't make it to the office, and I can join by phone or iPad, even from my car. I also love the chat function. We started to use it internally, but more and more we find ourselves video conferencing with customers and suppliers alike. Since the last update of the app, we can now use the app on any personal computer as a dual display solution, which gives us the means to truly collaborate over vast distances. For example: we discuss current projects. Project files, such as Powerpoint files, Visio files, PDF's, project documentation. In our office we have the camera aimed at our touch screen, which also doubles as the presentation input for our icon. So the camera is aimed at this screen, which results in a very lively demonstration when the presenter is manipulating designs etc. The camera will capture a good image of the presenter, and on the secondary display, a perfect representation of the document that is being worked on is displayed. **What do you dislike about Lifesize?** Some customers that are using skype for business can't connect with us because it turns out they have not opened up their federation. **Recommendations to others considering Lifesize:** Just try it! the trial is so easy to get started with. **What problems is Lifesize solving and how is that benefiting you?** At first we were looking for a way to cut the travel costs for recurring interregional meetings, but over the last years we have been using the app to video call and chat, instead of using the traditional phone. IT has tried many different things to correct the problem but it still takes a little time for the program to fully open up. The Icon systems are so easy to use and you can rely on them every time for your calls. Quite simply the easiest to deploy, use and maintain video conferencing solution on the market! If you have not deployed it yet - why not! We utilise the guest client, web client, iOS, Android, MAC and PC, plus the excelllent room systems, which all work together to provide us with global network for communications, that we can access from anywhere and on most of the exisiting equipment that we already own, We have even managed to utilise some of oour legacy equipment to bring remote offices on line without the expense of renewing their older equipment - the management portal, provides us with excellent visibility on the useage of the systems and the users, enabling us to calculate and monitor the return on our investment and ensure that everyone is making the very most of the investment in this system.
