Since the September 21, 2026 update, nothing I can recommend. Every document it generates has to be checked line by line before it can be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The September 21, 2026 release was mandatory, and after it the output was no longer reliable. Trusts generated with blank distribution sections. Children who were entered in the system were left out entirely. Provisions changed on their own when I regenerated a document, and finished documents had garbled text and missing names. The worst was a trust stating that my clients had no children. Signed as generated, it would have disinherited their only child.
I caught all of it before any client signed. The cost was my time and my evenings. For more than three weeks I proofed and fixed every document by hand, which added many hours to every matter and kept me at the office late into the night. Estate planning software exists so the attorney can trust the draft. After this release, I couldn’t.
I reported each problem in writing, gave LexisNexis’s engineers my files and attended a training session that didn’t resolve anything. LexisNexis acknowledged the problems in writing and said it was reverting to the old version only temporarily, with no date for the new version’s return. When I asked to be released from my agreement, which runs to February 2029, LexisNexis declined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
