"Fast, Flexible AI-Powered Note Taking and Content Creation"
What do you like best about Letterly?

how seamlessly it lets me turn spoken thoughts or typed prompts into polished, structured content. I use the mobile app to quickly record voice notes—whether it’s a meeting, brainstorming session, or just a quick idea. It instantly gives me a full transcription, but the real magic is in the “rewrite” and “magic” functions. With just a tap, I can turn a rambling voice memo into a crisp LinkedIn post, an X (Twitter) thread, a blog outline, a journal entry, or whatever I need—no manual reworking required. The rewrite options are genuinely versatile, and I can keep tweaking the output until it fits exactly what I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Letterly?

Occasionally, AI-generated text needs a quick review to keep my tone or message authentic, especially with creative posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized My Thought Process and Time Management"
What do you like best about Letterly?

I have been using Letterly for a couple of years now, and I really appreciate its ability to act as an effective notetaker via audio input. It beautifully rewrites my jumbled thoughts into coherent, clear documentation. This feature is especially valuable as it allows me to copy and paste the refined thoughts into other documents easily. I was intrigued by Letterly initially because speaking to input data is quicker and easier for me than typing, and it didn’t disappoint. Installing Letterly on my desktop and mobile devices was straightforward and simple. The application excels in saving me time by organizing my thoughts efficiently and offering over 10 to 12 different ways to rewrite content into more sensible formats. I find it quite magical how it restructures my thoughts, allowing me the flexibility to choose from creating lists, formal emails, or informal notes. This versatility aids in a really effective brain dump, enhancing my creativity rather than limiting myself. I love that Letterly also stores all my messages, giving me peace of mind that nothing is lost. The purchasing process was smooth too, as I've acquired multiple licenses for all my different devices, and I've found it absolutely brilliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Letterly?

I wish that Letterly allows for adding additional input data by recording rather than just typing. I find it limiting that once a brain dump is done, there's no continuous input to add more thoughts. It would be better if I could edit or add to a previous brain dump continuously rather than it being a one-off input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Handy AI Voice-to-Text Tool With Room to Improve"
What do you like best about Letterly?

Letterly stands out for its speed and accuracy in transcribing voice notes, often delivering reliable results even for longer recordings. What makes it especially useful is the built-in rewriting feature, which can instantly turn raw transcripts into polished formats like summaries, emails, or social media posts without needing extra tools. The app is also designed for convenience, offering quick-record widgets, offline mode, and even screen-off recording to make capturing ideas effortless. On top of that, users appreciate its clean, intuitive interface, which keeps the workflow smooth and easy to navigate. Overall, these strengths make Letterly a practical tool for anyone who wants to turn spoken thoughts into structured written content quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Letterly?

While Letterly offers several advantages, it is not without its shortcomings. Some users have experienced occasional bugs, such as encountering recording limits even after purchasing a subscription, or being able to record only a few minutes at a time. The transcription feature can also be unreliable, sometimes producing results that do not accurately reflect what was said. Additionally, the app does not currently support uploading pre-recorded audio files, which reduces its overall flexibility. There are also comments that the AI-generated rewrites, such as those for emails or captions, can feel somewhat generic or repetitive. Finally, the subscription pricing has drawn criticism for being inconsistent or somewhat high in light of these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
