LedgerIQ Reviews & Product Details

Ledger IQ: AI Trial Balance Mapping for CPA Firms Ledger IQ turns a client’s trial balance into a tax-ready, fully mapped workpaper in minutes. Upload the trial balance, and Ledger IQ’s AI classifies every account to its correct tax return line, even for a brand-new client with no prior-year mapping. No templates to build, no rules to maintain, no starting from scratch. Built for how tax work actually gets done Ledger IQ works with the software your firm already uses. It produces import-ready files for Lacerte, Drake, and UltraTax, so mapped balances flow straight into the return instead of being keyed in by hand. What’s inside -Tax Review. See exactly which form and line every number on the return came from. Reviewers can trace any amount from the trial balance to the return and tie out the whole thing without hunting through workpapers. -Adjustments (AJE, RJE, TJE). Every audit, reclassifying, and tax journal entry lives in one view. Reviewers get a complete picture of what moved, why, and where it lands on the return. -Working Trial Balance. Each account shows its unadjusted balance, every adjustment applied, the final adjusted amount, and its tax line mapping. It’s the full path from the books to the return on one screen, with no rebuilding in Excel. Why firms use Ledger IQ -Faster prep. Mapping that used to take hours is done before you open the return. -Cleaner review. Every number has a clear trail back to its source, so reviewers spend time on judgment instead of tracing. -Works on day one. No prior mapping or setup required, so new clients are as easy as returning ones. -Fewer keying errors. Import-ready output means balances go into your tax software exactly as mapped. Ledger IQ: from trial balance to tax return, without the spreadsheet. https://ledgeriq.ai
