Leaving Jira Reviews & Product Details

leavingjira.com is a free resource for teams evaluating whether to stay on Atlassian's Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, or move to something else. Since 2023, Atlassian has raised Cloud and Data Center prices repeatedly, in some cases compounding to 40-75% or more depending on tier and deployment, and the site breaks down that history year by year so teams can see the real trend instead of a single headline number. It also runs the math past the advertised per-seat rate: a 100-person team paying the listed Jira Cloud price ends up paying roughly 2.2 times that once Confluence, Guard, and other add-ons are factored in. The core tool is a five-minute sizing calculator that takes your team size and current setup and estimates both your true Atlassian spend and what you'd pay on GForge Next, a single platform (SaaS, managed, or on-premise) priced at a flat $6 per user per month, replacing the separate Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket invoices. No sales call required to get a number.
