They have a great and amiable staff that is always willing to help. In addition, the software is highly user-friendly and admin friendly as well. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** The downside to LeagueApps is the expense. They earn their money per transaction, which comes out to about 5% of each transaction. Not all of that 5% percent goes to LeagueApps, but that is still a large percentage that is now not coming in for registration. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** The major problem it solves is that it makes the registration process simple, easy to use and places the payment information in the same flow as registration. Is saves us about 200 work hours per year as opposed to our old method of registration and collecting payment. ### 2. As a database, it allows for enough customization for our league and makes processing of registrations, scheduling, and more very easy to use. Great product that is always willing to change and develop alongside our growth. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** There isn't much to dislike. I guess I would like my logo more in the registration process and the ability to use push notifications in the app. That might be a stretch to do however. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** An open API with National Sports ID that turns into something effective would go a very long way to make this database fully functional for our league usage. We think this functionality is coming. ### 3. They are also taking a look at internal issues within our systems like data as well. It immediately shifted work load for our staff & improved registration & management. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** There is still so much to learn. We have just scratched the surface in efficiency and maximum productivity. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** The two immediate issues LeagueApps has solved is online registration and league communication. We used to have to manually enter each hard copy registration, most recently over 500. We also didn't have the capacity to send an email to the entire league at once, over 700 email contacts. ### 5. A pretty good one-stop shop for managing all signups for our facilities activities **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** One part I believe could improve with LeagueApps is the messaging system. It is nice to have every member automatically within a program with emails and info, etc. But messaging members and the messaging interface (specifically the email creation) could use some upgrades. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to direct members to one place for all our activities and still be able to tailor each activity registration to the needs of that activity. Between Google Drive, League Apps, and E-mail, I rarely have to use any other program. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** Some of the billing functions are still a bit clunky, but LeagueApps has assured that many positive changes are coming this calendar year and beyond. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Much of the process is automated, which is pretty great. I can do everything from running registration to keeping scores to taking payments and more. ### 8. I cannot imagine our organization without such an amazing registration platform such as League Apps! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jaime B. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022 **What do you like best about LeagueApps?** League Apps is user-friendly and provides an organized roster for every program, collects important demographic info for grant writing, offers an easy messaging system and helps us keep track of payments. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** I don't necessarily dislike this process but it is kind of time consuming to add a program participant manually if the parent has never registered before because you have to create the parent as an account supervisor first and then add the child to the family account, then finally add them to the program they desire. We encounter this often as many of the familes we serve are low income and do not have access to a computer or the internet, so they fill out a paper registration form. This is in now way a complaint or a deal-breaker. I love League Apps and it makes my job so much easier. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to using League Apps, we collected registration information from participants on a Google Form which was a nightmare to retrieve information from when a parent called to see which team their child was assigned to because there were over 250 participants in many of our programs. League Apps gives us a place to collect and access all program participant information and a convenient option to message teams, coaches, parents and players. Most importantly, League Apps has been a game changer for us in our grant writing by collecting demographic information that is easy to access and report back to funders. When I have had any questions or issues, I know that if I reach out to Customer Support, they will get back to me in a timely manner with the exact information I need. The training videos are also super helpful to continue to learn and use the programs that they offer. I feel so organized because I truly know exactly what is going on in all of our leagues thanks to Leagueapps. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** I don't think I have actually run into a feature or something that I have had a problem with. They are coming out with new updates here and there and there are times when I have to adjust to that. I do not see that as a downfall though, they send out helpful emails and a heads up whenever anything may be changing. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Leagueapps helps our business stay organized in what our participants are registered in and paying for. The user experience is simple and the reporting on the backend makes it easy to stay organized and communicate with players. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** There's not much to dislike. LA continues to upgrade and add new features. They are open to ideas and suggestions and the product has continued to improve over the years. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** The only significant issues we have had in the past was syncing everything properly with the front end of our website. I can easily see which employees have paid and any that our past due. Not only that, but LeagueApps also helps you/your organization with customizable forms that can be sent out, a very easy payment processing form/system, that also allows you to track and manage your payments easily. **What do you dislike about LeagueApps?** I wish more sports had customizable forms, currently there are only Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball. I would like to see swimming and other non-field sports added to Leagueapps. **Recommendations to others considering LeagueApps:** I would recommend anyone who is a part of a recreational sports team, a company team or part of a company that enjoys organizing sports activities/events, or even just a parent trying to get a little league team started, to consider using League Apps. **What problems is LeagueApps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now, instead of having a bunch of Excel files crowding your laptop and organizational/streamlining issues, users can choose to allow registration by teams, or groups or individuals.
