What do you like best about Lavender?

What do you dislike about Lavender?

As an SDR, I’ve had the opportunity to use Lavender.ai, and here’s my experience:

1. Buggy Performance: The product frequently crashes, making it unreliable. The user interface is also quite buggy, which hampers productivity.

2. Unhelpful Customer Support: The customer support team hasn’t been very helpful. Their advice often feels condescending, focusing on superficial aspects of email tone rather than providing constructive feedback. Their office hours are more about explaining basic email concepts than offering genuine support.

3. AI Functionality: While the idea of using AI to rewrite emails is fantastic, I’d recommend ChatGPT over Lavender. Lavender's feedback tends to be limited to critiquing sentence length rather than offering meaningful improvements.

4. Lack of Compelling Features: The product itself is uninspiring and hasn’t led to an increase in booked meetings. It doesn’t deliver the results it promises.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money on Lavender.ai. There are better alternatives available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lavender?

Lavender does a pretty good job of cramming a lot of functionality into a small chrome extension. It's very helpful to get feedback (based on best practices) on your emails in real time. The personalization assistant is also great for quickly personalizing prospect emails. Being able to use Lavender in your SEP (Outreach or Salesloft) is also very nice to have. What do you dislike about Lavender?

I had a billing issue, contacted support and still haven't heard back in almost a week. They need to work out some kinks in their AI, as some of the feedback is off-base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lavender?

Ease of use and impact.

Ease of Use: The UI (in this case, G-Suite) is simple, intuitive and powerful. A seller can easily type an email from scratch and receive feedback on how to improve the likelihood of their email getting read; sellers can also see a mobile phone view,m which shows exactly how their email will appear on mobile devices and mobile preview. Also, there is a feature that leverages AI to write an email for you or take an email and reword it for you to make it stronger. All of this is fairly seemlessly integrated into the interface and is easy to understand, use, and leverage.

Impact: By using the Lavender dashboard, an admin (for instance a sales leader) can track the impact of their team's emails - score, effectiveness, engagement, opportunities for improvement, etc. Viewing results as a whole team or drilling down to invidifual sellers is powerful for both assessment and coaching. What do you dislike about Lavender?

Even though the UI is intuitive and simple to use, it sometimes glitches - sometimes the icons are not easily clickable, disapear, or don't function some of the time (at least in G-Suite). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lavender?

Most products write the emails for you while Lavender teaches you the principals of what makes a good email so you learn to write it yourself.

I think one of the requirements of using Lavender should be that oyu follow them on LinkedIn as well. The amount of content they post has helped me more than any sales class I could have paid thousands of dollars for.

The actual product is very simple but powerful when writing emails, because what Lavender realizes is that emails are not a one size fits all.

From a team wide perspective, very easy for sales managers to look at the data and analytics and know exactly how to coach their reps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything. Lavender has completely changed my email writing workflow. The email coach is great as it clearly highlights the score of the email along with detailed ways to improve it.
