A contractor I hired put my business's site on LandingI without my knowledge or permission and it was excruciatingly painful to migrate away. In fact, LandingI has zero ability to even export your own media after uploading it. "It goes in, it can't come out...very bad customer experience." I would never, ever put another web site on this platform **What do you dislike about Landingi?** First, they can't support https for simple domains (mysite.com vs www.mysite.com) for "security reasons. WHAT?!? That means if I don't want a www in front of my url I have to be unsecure (http?) That's a showstopper right there and an absurd restriction. Worse, there's no way to migrate OFF the platform! Even something as simple as uploading a graphic is irreversible - don't try to get a ZIP if your media even if you ask the staff. They won't allow you to get your own graphics. So when the contractor I hired put my site on LandingI and then walked away, I had no choice but to completely start over from scratch on the new hosting site. The price for this lack of functionality is 50% higher than mainstream, fully functioning web hosting services. Why would anyone pay much more and have these horrible limitations and restrictions? In this case, we provide an SSL certificate, but the option is limited to publishing (and securing) on a subdomain, not on a root domain. This is clearly stated during the configuration process. As for the export of your content (pages), you are quite right, that we don’t have such option, when migrating out of the platform. The common method in this case is just saving page as HTML and upload to you new hosting with some small adjustments. With that being said, I am just really sorry that we did not get a chance to talk about your needs and issues in more depth, as I feel this could have been avoided; perhaps we should have been more proactive in reaching out. ### 31.
