Our lab has been using Labguru since the very first day we established the lab in late 2016, and after nearly a decade of experience, we can confidently say it has been transformative for every aspect of our research operations. Labguru is exceptionally user-friendly, allowing new lab members to get up to speed quickly and integrate seamlessly into ongoing projects. It has been absolutely essential in maintaining high levels of rigor and reproducibility — experimental records, protocols, and data are meticulously organized, easy to search, and fully traceable. For a lab with frequent turnover, Labguru has been critical to ensuring smooth transitions and preserving institutional knowledge. It has also dramatically improved communication within the lab and with external collaborators — making it simple to share up-to-date protocols, datasets, and experimental designs in a secure and structured way. The archiving feature has been a major asset: maintaining an accessible and well-organized archive of plasmids, sequences, and reagents has saved us an enormous amount of time, effort, and money. Simply avoiding the re-cloning of a plasmid or reordering an antibody already saves more than the cost of an annual membership per person. The resource management capabilities alone have paid for themselves many times over. In terms of financial impact, Labguru has been incredibly effective. By tracking inventory carefully and reducing duplicate orders, we've saved substantial money on reagents and supplies. The product purchasing system is well-integrated, straightforward, and reliable, further streamlining our ordering process. Another major strength is the continuous updates that improve the platform's functionality and security. Labguru now offers even stronger data protection, expanded storage capacity, and regular feature updates based on user feedback.
