KxCatering on Pulse Reviews & Product Details

KxCatering on Pulse is a web-based/ cloud-based catering management platform built for higher education institutions, including universities, colleges, and independent schools, that want to run their hospitality and catering operations more efficiently. It covers the full process from the moment a customer places an order through to delivery, all in one place. Whether you are managing catering for staff meetings, internal events, or external guests, the platform gives your team a single system to handle orders, menus, deliveries, and reporting. Catering teams can update menus and pricing centrally, set up collection points, create meal packages, and control when and how orders can be placed, including minimum and maximum order quantities to match your operational capacity. Everything can be done in a few clicks, reducing the need for back-and-forth emails and manual processes. For customers placing orders, the experience is designed to be simple. They can filter meals by dietary requirement or allergen, save favourites for quick reordering, and pay using internal cost codes or by card. Meeting organisers can share a group booking link so that each attendee selects their own meal, which reduces food waste and removes the need for lengthy amendment chains. Reporting is built in throughout. Each team member can customise their dashboard to show what is relevant to their role. Delivery teams see upcoming orders, while managers can view sales trends, identify popular items, and track revenue across both internal and external catering. The platform integrates with existing systems and includes single sign-on (SSO) and permission controls. The customer-facing ordering site is fully branded to your institution. Key features include: - Branded, customisable online meal ordering website - Group ordering via a shared link - Dietary and allergen labelling - Meal packages and repeat order functionality - Cost code and card payment support (via KxPayments integration) - Real-time operational and sales dashboard - Order history and customer feedback tools - Integration with existing systems
