Moreover, the implementation to customize the office was very, very easy and to our liking was a huge plus: not only did we adapt the space to our needs, but the process became a truly fun team building. Also, very easy to use. Integrating it with your tools is achieved with a couple of buttons. Very happy with the tool in general and with the support team who are very quick. 👏 We totally recommend it, we use it every day. **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** To say something negative, the only thing I would improve is the team chat. There are multiple elements in our meetings which require all participants to work together, breakout into smaller group, and also breakout further to do educational tasks. At the end of day one they were sold on Kumospace. The best bit is they felt liek they were all still working in the same office as we were able to set up a shared open workspace area so everyone could hear everyone throughout the day. We have set up multiple floors, including office spaces, classrooms and keynote rooms. Event participants could easily find their way around - the navigation was intuitive, even for teachers who are only familiar with platforms like Google Meet or Teams. They all enjoyed the setup and design, and many stayed on the platform to network even after the webinars had ended. The ability to record and download every webinar or meeting is a major added value. With the help of friendly customer support, we were able to set up Kumospace quickly. We now use it on a daily basis and have not encountered any technical issues so far. **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** Couldn't find a disadavantage. Kumospace fits that to a tee. It is so much easier to just pop over to a coworker's office or our boss's office for questions instead of messaging back and forth. Being able to decorate the office space has also allowed everyone the creative freedom to decorate their own offices. Everyone loves it! It is still a work in process to remember to close your office door and/or mark yourself away if you are truly not available. We also get a little bit of a chuckle when we see our boss moving towards our office for a chat but we feel much more accessible to each other this way instead of having to message "hey are you available for a call". It took some time to play around for us to get it integrated fully, especially those who are not as tech savvy. We now use this everyday! **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** We have had some glitches with Kumospace, especially when screen sharing for presentations. It does not seem to play nicely with Indesign. We've also had issues previously where someone might get kicked out of Kumospace due to losing internet access and when they try to get back in once internet connection is restored, they are unable to and have to restart their computer first. I did reach out once to customer support to make them aware of these issues. **What problems is Kumospace solving and how is that benefiting you?** As our team works remotely and we are spread out throughout the US, Kumospace has allowed us to have a space where it is much easier to see and chat with everyone. It has eliminated having to message each other for availability before hopping on a call. By enabling our team to see one another in the office when we're working late, see the engineering team brainstorming in a conference room or to hold all-hands meetings in the Board room really adds a level of team culture that was absent with just Slack. **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** Frankly there are very few things I dislike about Kumospace, our team adopted it quickly and enthusiastically. Maybe one friction point is that we would love to bring outiders to out office and while the account setup is pretty easy, most people don't understand how to control their avatars or how to switch between the views immediately so it makes it harder to bring in clients, investors, etc. **What problems is Kumospace solving and how is that benefiting you?** In remote teams it's very easy to feel like an island. You don't necessarily feel like you're part of something bigger than yourself. I find it to be the most visutally appealing and it's also very easy to use. This is really important to us given we invite external clients and colleagues with a range of tech skills + comfort into the space, so it's easy to integrate into our work flow. I also really appreciate their customer support. I recently reached out to them with a question and was impressed with the quick turnaround time (even though it was a holiday weekend) and how personable and helpful their rep was in answering my question. We use Kumospace most days of the week, and it's nice to know we have a cozy space to collaborate and co-create with our team and clients! **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** I don't love that recordings aren't hosted in the cloud / I have to download them locally. This is not so convenient for hosting recordings of client sessions because I still have to upload the video into another software (Loom for example) to make it easily referencable for both me and my client. I don't like that we can't set "office hours" for the various spaces, or that we can't make it so that people cannot use the space if an admin is not present (this is especially useful when hosting events with outside guests). I know we can password protect the space, but that does not quite solve the issue. **What problems is Kumospace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our team is fully remote, so it's nice that we have a space where we can really feel like a "team" and can have organic conversations throughout the work day. It's also nice for us to be able to host virtual events with external stakeholders in such a beautiful space! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good, especially since we are using the app in Brazil. This app is an excellent tool for making remote work more professional. It’s far better than alternatives like Discord, WhatsApp, Skype, etc. Creating and personalizing your room is incredibly easy and fun. The customization system is very user-friendly, allowing you to assign individuals to specific rooms effortlessly. The mobile app functions flawlessly. The mobile web version also performs exceptionally well. **What do you dislike about Kumospace?** Areas for Improvement in Kumospace: Lack of Language Support Not having translations into other languages, such as Portuguese, is a significant drawback. In today's world, with the availability of AI tools, translating apps has become much easier and more accessible. Expanding language options would make the platform more inclusive and user-friendly for a global audience. Limited Group Channel Features The group channels lack some essential features. For instance, the ability to pin messages would help users highlight important information. Additionally, the text formatting options are limited; for example, you can’t add blank spaces between lines, which restricts flexibility in communication. Enhancing these features would greatly improve usability. Mobile App Notification Issues The mobile app has some problems with notifications. For example, it sends notifications for group messages even when the group has been muted. This can be disruptive and frustrating.
