It has been incredible for streamlining processes, enhancing collaboration, and drastically increasing productivity. It has all the capability you need out of the box for designing robust workflow solutions without having to write a single bit of programming or web coding. You can build complex solutions in a matter of hours. Kuali also has great support, continues to enhance the product and incorporates suggestions into the product. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** Kuali Build could use some additional out of the box reporting capabilities and more robust services for integration with other systems. The support received from Kuali is also top notch and a huge upside to the product! **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** There are a few quirks that thankfully Kuali typically is aware of and working to change/fix. **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kuali allows our campus employees to create forms and apps that benefit their departments. The forms/apps can be as simple as a questionnaire or as complicated as a multi-step approval process for scholarship applications. We have also been able to use the integrations feature to import massize amounts of data from our data warehouse to create many integrations to steamline the forms for the end user. ### 3. Being able to link apps to one another helps with data integrity and accuracy, reducing the chances of typos or errors. Its user friendly and training our faculty/staff on how to navigate the platform and is pretty quick and easy. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** I dont have anything that i dislike about Kuali Build - its been a complete game changer! **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Kuali Build has allowed us to automate a lot of our processes that used to require multiple emails to get various approvals/signatures. This has reduced delays with processing forms and payments - we use teh setting that allows Kuali to send reminders to someone that has a task or approval pending in their Action List. ### 4. I just wish I knew more of how to utilize all the features. **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work in a higher education institution and we have many forms that need several layers of approval. This platform allows us to automate the approval sequence by routing the completed document (with attachments) through a defined series of approvers. This expedites the amount of time it takes to get things approved. It also minimizes the time lost trying to search for paper forms and determining which signer's desk its sitting on. I really value how easy it is for people to jump in and use this without a lot of training. The support and community of this product is what I wish it was for all other products and so helpful. I value that this can be incredibly fast and easy for simple use cases but also quite extensible for those more complex solutions. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** There are a few growing pains that I think this product will get through soon based on their development so far. the ability for default values, complex calculations, some showing and hiding of workflow statuses, and being able to filter dropdowns of users by roles on my top examples of this. I also look forward to native integrations with products like Google. **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** this reduces how much of our business processes are occurring over email which is so easy to lose track of. another problem we've had is that users have to get it support to build functional solutions which is solved with the citizen developer model of this product. electronic signatures are a huge win as well as mobile responsiveness and browser compatibility. retrieving SSO metadata is also fantastic ### 6. And user can hop into the platform and build complex forms and workflows. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** It is difficult to find things to dislike. I've been using Kuali for almost three years, and the limitations of the past are no longer an issue. Kuali is always evolving and introducing new features (a good thing!), but these occasionally introduce bugs. However, the support is fantastic and resolves bugs within hours. **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** It reduces our need for custom web app development. The majority of our legacy web apps were simple forms. Kuali Build has completely supplanted those. Our citizen developers can manage and create forms and apps without IT intervention. Citizen development has significantly reduced IT requests for custom solutions. We have moved several processes from paper and email workflows to Kuali apps. Doing so modernizes the process and reduces administrator confusion and user frustration. ### 13. The ability to use branching logic enables you to handle almost any scenario. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** As you would expect with any growing product that adds new features often, running into bugs does happen. There have been small growing pains and limitations to functionality. I appreciate the implied security that Kuali has, especially since, in the past, we would've sent out Google Forms for people to fill out and then received the feedback via email. **What do you dislike about Kuali Build?** I'm not too fond of Kuali forms not having a good share button/link. It would be nice if we could create a public link for a document from the form screen. People tend to copy/paste, and that ends up with a nonworking URL. **What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been able to request protected health information from people without having the submissions go to someone's inbox. Instead, the data is stored in a secure, centralized database. The benefit is the safety and security of said data, along with the ease of use. We're not having people fill out a PDF and submit it back to us.
