## Kordiam Reviews
  ### 1. Desk-net connects all departments and simplifies communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriele S. | editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

I am a part-time (freelance) editor and, thanks to Desk-net, I can get involved in the daily editorial planning (for various newspapers I supply). I can make announcements and schedule my research. I can commission photographers. I can plan the playout of my articles online and in print.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

Due to the many entries from different departments, I sometimes lose the overview (even over a short period of time). But I can find my entries again using the search function.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Desk-net is the central communication tool in our team, whether people are working in the office or from home, whether they are on duty or off. I can tell the editor or other departments what I am working on and avoid overlapping topics.

  ### 2. Helps with organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

We use the tool in our editorial office to plan and coordinate our daily work. It makes it easier to see, what and when other Authors are writing a text and Desknet helps us to plan our day.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

If you are editing a subject from somebody else, you usually need to stop the notifications. Otherwise, the other person who is working on a subject will get a lot of E-Mails. I think it would be better if there is no notification at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Kordiam:**

Use all the opportunities that are offered, e.g. give a good description or upload a document.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to organize. I can structre the Newspaper-Pages and I know, what kind of articles I will get from the authors and how long they will be. That makes it easy to plan.

  ### 3. Desk-Net is a very reliable tool to manage subjects and events together with a lot of departments.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

Different rolls within production process could work together.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

Performance could be better on some levels.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better communication between teams and freelancers, punctual and efficient creation of content. Production units are more productive.

  ### 4. Perfect planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

One has an overview of appointments and topics,

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

I have nothing to criticize about Desk-Net.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me an overview of all future appointments and all topics equally. At the same time, I can commission freelance writers and photographers.

  ### 5. Advantages of Desknet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

Desknet has everything needed for working in a team. It is clear. You can link articles directly.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

Sometimes the system acts up and assigns incorrect times to the articles.

**Recommendations to others considering Kordiam:**

None

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just work with it. Editorially.

  ### 6. Desk-Net helps to organize our daily workflow.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

Organizing shifts and availabilities across many different offices becomes a lot easier and quicker. Having a cross desk event calendar and assigning people to events is also very helpful. In total, it offers you a lot of relevant information in a very condensed and well-organized layout.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

It sometimes feels like you need one click too many to change assignments and shifts / shift notes. The basic settings also do not accommodate part-time workers.

**Recommendations to others considering Kordiam:**

It takes a little to familiarize yourself with the interface - train everyone properly to get people fully on board from the beginning. Addressing all upcoming questions as early as possible. And don’t hesitate to contact the support team – they’re very quick and helpful.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using a lot of excel files and calendars to organize our workflow across desks scattered all over Europe. After switching to Desk-Net, the amount of communication and chatter surrounding planning and administration has greatly been reduced, freeing up a lot of time for everyone.

  ### 7. Great tool for a complex tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

What I love about Desk-Net is the fact that I don't really notice it: It simply works. As a journalist, it's really difficult to keep track of different tasks and deadlines, and Desk-Net helps me doing that without any problem. It's also great for team work, everyone knows what's up with a single glance. I like the design, too: It's clean and simple.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

For me it's sometimes a bit confusing to type in different dates. I'm not always sure where to put a certain date. And from time to time, the list of entries is sometimes overwhelming. But that's because we have so much stuff.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team starts the day with Desk-Net: It shows us which tasks are at hand and helps us distribute these tasks. During the day I regularly check Desk-Net to see if something in our schedule changed.

  ### 8. Very cool tool to organize work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

You have a full overview, you can switch between day, weeks, your name and you are connected to your colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

Some loading problems. Sometimes when I organise the program puts my name in it although I don't want to do the task.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can see, how much work is to do and plan the next weeks

  ### 9. Highly useful for our editorial team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

The easiness of connecting different business units at one single place.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

The E-Mail, that I get, whenever someone edits a Desk-Net-Post. Maybe you could find a more convenient solution here.

**Recommendations to others considering Kordiam:**

Offer something like an explanation into to Desk-Net for all of your colleagues. So that everyone is able to use the tool in the best way.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier scheduling throughout all units and more efficient co-working.

  ### 10. The Rolls-Royce for editorial planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Kordiam?**

Desk-Net is easy to use and allows us to keep track of tasks, story ideas and deadlines over all our editorial channels. We also use it at our communications agency's content department.

**What do you dislike about Kordiam?**

If there are long lists and lots of tasks it might get a bit confusing. But the Desk-Net-Team is constantly improving usability.

**What problems is Kordiam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Desk-Net for editorial planning and assignments since we implemented our convergent newsroom with print, radio, tv and online channels. Without Desk-Net planning would be much more of a hassle.
