What I like best about Koofr is that it helps me manage different work files in a more organized way during daily clinic and content work. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media, so I regularly handle diet charts, consultation records, diagnostic reports, wellness graphics, and educational video files together. Uploading files, creating folders, and finding older documents feels smooth during regular work. I also like that recent files and connected storage access help me quickly check consultation documents and health education materials without wasting extra time searching different places. Managing PDFs, graphics, reports, and video content together feels much easier now. Another good thing is that file syncing and folder organization work properly even when handling multiple patient and content related files together. Performance during regular use also feels stable because files open and upload properly without making the workflow slow. It helps me keep clinic documents, nutrition resources, and social media education content arranged in a more professional and manageable way during busy work days. Overall, Koofr has been a good option for keeping consultation files, health education materials, and content related documents stored and organized from one place during my regular work. What do you dislike about Koofr? while uploading larger files or multiple folders together, sometimes the syncing and upload process can take a little extra time depending on file size and internet connection. I also noticed that when many folders and files are opened together, organizing and checking everything properly can take a few extra clicks during busy work hours. Earlier, consultation records, diet charts, wellness graphics, diagnostic reports, and health education files were stored in different folders and devices, which sometimes made finding important documents slower during busy work days. The best thing I like about this Koofr platform is its simplicity and privacy-focused cloud storage experience, along with an intuitive user interface and support for multiple operating systems and the web-based system as well. One of its biggest strengths is the ability to connect with multiple cloud providers like Google Drive, drop box on OneDrive in a single interface. And also I like their built-in file versioning and automatic photo backup, secure file sharing and client-side encrypted vault, which make this platform a very efficient and effective tool for our day-to-day work. While this platform is excellent for secure storage and file management their collaboration capabilities aren't as advanced as platforms like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. Their real-time document collaboration is limited when compared with the dedicated productivity suites, and some enterprise features are also hidden behind higher cloud collection limits, which are available only in high-tier plans. Users coming from other mainstream cloud services may also find this ecosystem is very small with fewer 3rd party integration ecosystem, which should be worked on as well. As a technical and compliance editor working with German manufacturing clients, GDPR compliance is non-negotiable for all our machinery guides, vendor audit records and CSRD disclosure drafts, and Koofr’s end-to-end encryption is its standout strength. Unlike many general cloud services, its security framework fits local data protection requirements out of the box, so I never worry about regulatory violations when storing sensitive client text. The full file version tracking has saved me countless hours during back-and-forth client editing rounds. When manufacturing partners send rewrite requests or revert previous compliance wording, I can pull older drafts instantly without digging through stacks of duplicate local files. I also value the precise, layered folder sharing permissions; I can split our archives into separate client directories and only unlock access to the exact audit manuals each partner needs, limiting exposure of unrelated confidential compliance material. Onboarding was also straightforward to get started. The platform offers full German-language navigation and setup prompts, so our team didn’t need to comb through third-party guides to build our core filing structure for industrial documents. First, there is no built-in translation functionality for our dual German-English compliance files. Every time I need to adjust bilingual audit text or machinery safety copy, I must download each document individually, run it through external translation software, then reupload the revised version—an extremely repetitive step when processing dozens of client folders weekly. Second, the native document preview struggles heavily with formatted, lengthy CSRD audit manuscripts with tables, technical footnotes and industry-specific layout styling. Many files display broken text alignment or missing sections in the browser preview, forcing me to download every draft just to check formatting before sending to clients. Third, upload speeds drop drastically when I transfer full machinery manual bundles. These folders often contain hundreds of technical diagrams and reference images alongside written text, and the sync lag creates long waiting periods that slow down handovers to our manufacturing partners. I really like that Koofr is fast when uploading videos, which are usually large and heavy. I've never faced issues with uploads getting stuck. The access management feature is very helpful for my team, allowing editors and social promoters to easily access the videos and work on them without needing to create a common login. It's also great that Koofr is accessible from anywhere, without needing VPNs, making it convenient for freelancers in different locations. When I was a new user, I kind of struggled finding the options. Another thing is the AI support.
