While the labs are indeed practical and hands-on, I find them to be overly guided. There is not enough opportunity to engage with open-ended, real-world scenarios that require independent system thinking and making architectural decisions on your own. Incorporating more of these experiences would greatly enhance skills in troubleshooting and provide a broader perspective on system thinking, which is essential for a DevOps Engineer. What I like about Kodekloud is the quality of theirs lessons and the fact that they evolved along the technologies they present. For Example the CKA/CKS have been reviewed many times since I took it the first time. The website is well structured whatever you’re a junior or an senior in your field you will find your ways depending of the role you ’re currently in or that you’re targeting as next step in your carrier. It’s hard for me to find something I dislike about Kodekloud but the only feedback I would gave them is to keep growing by covering the keys technololgy emerging in the IT industry. KodeKloud is staying on top of the latest technologies. They have provided excellent courses on Generative AI technology. They are also running kubeastronaut campaign to motivate the folks to gain the kubernetes knowledge and get kubernetes certified as well.
