Knowify has excellent customer service. They are quick to respond and stay with the question until your have a solution that works for you. Overall the sync with QuickBooks Online is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The accounting side of Knowify is not it's strength. I would like to see:

- an easy way to adjust the sales tax to match the vendor bill.

- Only received PO items to populate the bill

- keyboard short cuts for faster data entry

- Send customer deposits invoices manually. They are sent automatically based on project start date and I'm not notified that they've gone out, or even that the project manager has set up a deposit so I can expect it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it integrates with Quickbooks and that all project expenses are tracked against the project budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel as though there are some key features that are not available. I am hoping that some of those features are being developed. Scheduling and Tasks are the two biggest issues. There are just not enough features here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Software is easy to learn and use. It streamlines many of our old processes. Ability to generate and send proposals and invoices from within Knowify is great! Also, love the integration with Intuit Quickbooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some limitations vs other more robust software packages. Estimates/proposals are easy to generate but Knowify lacks capabilities to sum up gross margin when it varies across multiple line items. I wish I could email Ronald directly without having to use a general email address through the help function within the app. Many of my needs can easily be handled by a quick email or reply to a previous thread. You have to do things a bit differently than we are used to doing. An example is that if you want information on a purchase order you would not necessarily go to the project, you would go to purchase orders and search there. More search based than project drop down. Also, some of the information has to be accessed through reports (Excel) when it should be there for you to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The data entry is easy for all departments, especially Purchase Orders including receiving and invoicing.

The most vital part of knowify is the ability to sync across different departments, and have tracking of all activities from time entries, to purchases, to change orders. Invoicing is a breeze with all the data existing within the system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately it takes some time to learn about how markups are handled and presented within the Time and Materials contracts. It would be great to have more insight on that because it differs from how quoted projects are handled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
