I experienced an issue with an estimated velocity that seemed a bit too high. We have commissioned Keymakr with the annotation of image data.

Keymakr offered us a pilot study in advance, in which we were able to assess the working method and quality of the annotation based on a small data set before committing to the overall project.

We were able to work closely with Keymakr on both the pilot study and the subsequent project and could observe the work via the web interface, which displayed each image with the annotations and allowed for comments regarding each image or individual annotations. Keymakr was open to setting milestones in the project where we could evaluate the work and give feedback on adjustments to the annotation. Throughout the project, Keymakr was very concerned about the quality of the work and actively requested feedback, which was always well received and quickly implemented; adjustments were also immediately visible in the subsequently annotated data.

Overall, the collaboration with Keymakr was smooth and very cooperative and the exchange via Slack was quick, so that satisfactory results were achieved at a fair price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the web interface, the bounding boxes of the annotations cannot be completely hidden, which meant that the images behind them were no longer clearly visible and it was not always easy to evaluate the annotation. In addition, the web interface is sometimes a little slow. However, these points of criticism are marginal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've found Keymakr to be professional, helpful, and extremely good at what they do. We've used them for image generation and image annotation so far, and they've done a really good job at both.

Their annotators asked good questions about the annotation guidelines, checked in with us daily so we could make sure their work was aligned with what we were looking for, and delivered the work quickly and on budget.

They're also transparent about their process when something doesn't work, e.g. we asked them to work on something that turned out to be impossible, but they went above and beyond to try to make it work out and kept us informed the whole way).
