"Best place to store your passwords"

What do you like best about KeePass?

What do you like best about KeePass?

Very easy and quick to download and install application. This application is very useful as it allows you to save registration data on the different websites we access. It saves usernames, passwords, and emails in a very organized way. It is easily configured and allows you to create a database which can be saved anywhere and protected with a password. The most pleasant thing about this software is how easy it is to use, it does not require any particular knowledge to configure it correctly. It is undoubtedly the safest way to keep our passwords safe and well organized. Additionally, the files it creates with our passwords are a file that can be carried on any USB device and used on other computers as long as KeePass is installed since it is the only software that recognizes these files. What do you dislike about KeePass?

What do you like best about KeePass?

KeePass is a password storage software, it is completely free and is only available for Windows. With KeePass, we can store all those important passwords that we don't want to forget, such as bank passwords, email passwords, or passwords for any website or social network. This program has quality tools, one of which is that we can assign a master password to start the application, thus preventing others from checking our passwords. What do you dislike about KeePass?

I like you can kinda keep anything in there. I have a few databases. KeePass supports a number of plugins. It has a password generator and synchronization function, supports two-factor authentication, and has a Secure Desktop mode. It can use a two-channel auto-type obfuscation feature to offer additional protection against keyloggers. KeePass can import from over 30 other most commonly used password managers. What problems is KeePass solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have to change passwords frequently for a variety of reasons (I.T., Payroll, Banking, H.R.) and it had been hard to keep up with the requirements for each of the different areas I cover.

KeePass allows me to keep my passwords in a secure database with a windows tree like GUI. I am able to organize my different passwords into their own file system.

When a password has a required reset I am able to auto generate based on the previous password and just have to remember to save the database. Another thing that I like about KeePass is having the ability to go to the entry for the site I am needing a passwrd for and double click the username and/or password, it copies to the windows clipboard and then paste into the field I need login credentials. After 10 seconds the clipboard is automatically wiped by KeePass. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about KeePass?

Great interface, easy for use, fast copy and paste through shortcuts in toolbar, with just one click it could copy any register that you want in the registered item, customizations in the items. In the items can upload any image about the password that you are saving, can create organizational units and put in the items with passwords, if you manage many items with different passwords or kinds, can save neatly to your liking. It's allowed in most of the companies, because of the highest safety level. Can be used to quickly generate strong passwords. "KeePass - Password Management Made Simple"

What do you like best about KeePass?

Having all my passwords in one place with so many options for unlocking the database.

I share my database with other employees at work. Making password access, changes and management so simple. Our vault files are stored encrypted in the cloud and use file synchronization to propagate the changes near instantly.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

The interface itself feels a little dated. Reminds me a bit of an old Windows 95/98 application. But functionally it works as intended.

Would love to see a Chrome plugin so that my passwords could be easily accessed while working via a web browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering KeePass:

It's a great, secure and free option for password management. I can't express enough how powerful this becomes when paired with cloud storage / synchronization. We use BOX at work... but any of the other cloud storage providers should work well too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
