Since your security even to access your data is quite complete. In our department, someone had to basically do the codes for us and send it to everyone. We can add various attachments to each record, define an expiration time, it allows us to generate a complex password, and we also have version control as a history. There are an number of websites that I go on that work better in one browser than another. I like the fact the KeePass allows you to choose between browsers. **What do you dislike about KeePass?** The Android implementation can be a little hit and miss in terms of allowing me to "jump off" to a particular set of credentials. **Recommendations to others considering KeePass:** KeePass, for me is the go to password management software. I had trialled LastPass before but did not like the idea of storing my credentials in the cloud. **What problems is KeePass solving and how is that benefiting you?** As part of my role I have access to 57 different accounts. KeePass not only allows me to manage the credentials for these, but also allows me to autogenerate passwords, thus avoiding the temptation of re-using the same password ### 27. This strenghten the security as a leak of one of website database will not impact on all my accounts, especially pro ones. The single problem we encounter is the password sharing between people, since Keepass does not offer any options, compared to Dashlane, which allow to share some passwords with other users, for example. ### 34. There is no way to access the Database without both. So it's best practice to save the key file somewhere else, than the database. An usb stick, which you always carry with you, for example. KeePass comes with an own password generator, which allows several options (like uppercase, digits, specials, etc.). This way, you can generate a bullet proof password. When entering your account details, just use ctrl+b to copy the login name and ctrl+c to copy the password. KeePass automatically clears the cache after several seconds. So you wont accidentally paste your password in the wrong place. **What do you dislike about KeePass?** Actually there is not much to dislike. KeyPass covers all my needs, while keeping itself clean and fast. **Recommendations to others considering KeePass:** Keep your keyfile somewhere else, than your database. **What problems is KeePass solving and how is that benefiting you?** KeePass functions as my hub to all those Login Datas someone accumulateds these days. For every Website, every Shop, even most of the software used, you need an own password. You can use some rules for the creation of your passwords, but as soon, as someone learns these rules, you got a problem. KeePass solves those problems completely. You just need to remember your MasterPassword and keep your keyfile save. This way, it's possible to use unique passwords for every account. ### 37. The .KDB file has seemed to gain a standard and can probably brought into Enterprise Password managers too. **What do you dislike about KeePass?** There have been a lack of updates- I am looking for biometric means of protection and the Android version I am using doesn't support this. The simplicity of the software has its upside in what probably amounts to better security and it "just works". **Recommendations to others considering KeePass:** Make sure you try out different client versions of KeePass, there are different developers out there.
