What do you like best about JXL?

- Customizing the views and formatting

- Ability to create new sheets for other projects

- Additional fields available for auto calculations

- Ability to export to Excel in a fully functional file

- Ability to use JQL to create cross-project views

- Easy to use and customize with a variety of teams.

For teams that didn't have a Jira background and were used to using Excel to manage work, they adopted Jira because of your app. I have all my teams set up with at least one sheets view in their project. Team members, myself included, also love the ability to create a view that highlights all their yearly work to assist during review time.

Your app is awesome! The Atlassian List feature does not come close at all. I actually have hidden it from my views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JXL?

What problems is JXL solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Ability to export to Excel for additional reporting analysis

- Adoption of the Jira tool by non-development teams is directly correlated to the Sheets app because it is so similar to an Excel document, where they were using Excel to manage their work

"Effortless Ticket Tracking with Familiar Table Format"

What do you like best about JXL?

I love the table format of JXL that allows for ease in visibility and tracking of tickets. Most people are use to the Excel & Google Sheet format, and thus users can easily transfer to tracking tickets much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JXL?

I think really from my standpoint the only things that are concerning around this are 1) the price point is going to be hard to handle with the more Users I add to Jira, & 2) I wish there was possibly a re-sort capability by just using the drag-drop feature (this might be hard with the different sorting, etc. but you cannot leverage the standard JIRA priority sorting of simply drag/drop up and down if you wanted.

Another concern is calculate fields, but I think that is coming in a future release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Application of a spreadsheet to project management"

What do you like best about JXL?

JXL eliminates task orientation trouble since I can create, modify and arrange project information in a spreadsheet fashion. The use of such sheets saves time in entering data and it provides a quick tool to view a project’s progress at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JXL?

There also appears to be some missing link since JXL seems to lack powerful collaboration tools. It lacks some features, such as real-time editing within the spreadsheet and assigning tasks within the spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about JXL?

JXL makes it simple and easier to organize and edit the schedules and task at hand with a proper planning and reviwing before submissing and let's us check with the performance as well.
