2 licensing and pricing models for iVend Retail:

(i) Perpetual Licensing, where a customer buys a perpetual license to the product upfront and then pay for upgrades yearly (Software Assurance) to receive new versions. Software Assurance is normally 20-25% of the perpetual license fee and is recurring, paid annually in advance.

(ii) Subscription Licensing, where a customer pays a subscription price to have access to the product/service. Renewal of a subscription may be periodic and activated automatically, so that the cost of a new period is automatically paid for by a pre-authorized charge. All upgrades are included in the annual subscription price.

The seamless SAP integration, modular scalability, and the system’s stability across stores are the strongest points. It delivers consistent performance at the POS level while supporting centralized control over pricing, inventory. What do you dislike about iVend Retail?

The reporting module offers rich data, but the UI could be more intuitive and modern, especially for business users who aren’t technically inclined. That said, we’ve worked around this by combining it with external BI tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
