"Feature-Rich IDP That Automates Document Processing with Precision"
5/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

IDP has many features which automate repetitive tasks, but do so precisely. The extraction and classification features with IDP mean that documents do not require manual data entry, making IDP capable of handling large and complex document processing and organization. Automation of workflows using IDP speeds up processing time and maintains consistency when interacting with documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

There is one feature which could be improved – configuration and flexibility of setting up advanced document processing workflows. Although the system performs satisfactorily in the case of common scenarios, more complicated workflows may need extra configuration and effort on the part of users. That results in increased time spent on the implementation process as well as difficulties for the business staff when making fast changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Context-Aware AI OCR That Streamlines Workflows and Delivers Fast ROI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

What impresses me most about Iron Mountain InSight IDP is how effortlessly it moves beyond traditional, template-heavy OCR. Because it uses context-aware AI rather than rigid layout rules, it extracts data from unstructured documents, multi-page tables, and even handwritten forms with high accuracy on the first pass. The UI is practical and user-friendly. The low-code workflow designer makes it easy to set up routing, and the side-by-side Human-in-the-Loop interface keeps exception handling quick for operators. On the backend, pre-built APIs pushed verified data straight into our existing systems without requiring custom middleware.Implementation support was solid, helping us configure our taxonomy from day one. In terms of ROI, it cut our manual document keying and sorting workload significantly, helping us turn around document queues in a fraction of the time it used to take Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

While Iron Mountain InSight IDP performs very well overall, there are a few areas where the experience could be refined.

First, the administrative UI and workflow configuration tools have a steep learning curve for business users who lack a technical background, making initial pipeline tweaks heavily reliant on documentation or support. Second, while standard cloud storage integrations work well, connecting to older or niche internal systems requires extra custom development effort.

Additionally, self-service onboarding resources could be improved—a deeper library of video tutorials, pre-built taxonomy templates, and self-guided troubleshooting would help teams scale without needing professional services for every adjustment. Finally, clearer dashboard alerts for volume-based pricing consumption and AI confidence-threshold auto-tuning would make day-to-day administration much more seamless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Document Processing with Solid API, Needs Better Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

I really like the REST API Access and extraction logic with Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). The API allows me to push documents straight into the app without the hassle of manual uploading, and it efficiently pulls out extracted data as structured JSON into my database or CRM. Additionally, the extraction logic is beneficial because it relieves me from manually pulling structured info out of scanned invoices, contracts, or forms. I can train and maintain my own ML/OCR models and avoid having to create complex rules-based parsing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

The setup and configuration are the biggest pain points for me. Integration with my existing stack isn't seamless, which is a bit of a hassle. Teaching it new document types is harder than I expected, and I find the documentation and examples to be quite thin. There's also a customization ceiling that I hit, and the cost is a recurring theme that concerns me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI + OCR That Turns Messy Technical PDFs Into Clean, Usable Data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

What I liked most is how it solves the challenge of handling unstructured data. With oscilloscopes and telemetry, you sometimes run into mountains of old technical manuals, poorly scanned PDF specification sheets, supplier contracts, or compliance reports that someone still has to digitize and process. I really like that its AI and OCR engine can work through complex documents, filter out noise, and produce clean, usable data without me having to build regular expressions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

The initial workflow setup and the fine-tuning required for data extraction using custom models can be somewhat tedious and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Document Search, Needs Enhanced Sorting"
4/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

I love how Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) lets me search by supplier name, reference, or a specific term, freeing me from relying on internal codes. This makes coordinating campaigns across our education programs so much easier, allowing me to quickly find the right contract or brief and keep everything moving without delay. I lean on this tool mainly for managing the numerous documents that come through a marketing desk, and its intelligence in pinpointing specific terms buried within documents is impressive. The straightforward setup was a plus, getting me confidently searching in no time. I also appreciate how accurately it reads and pulls details from documents with different layouts, so I don't miss anything important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

My one wish is for richer sorting options. I have yet to find a way to order results chronologically, and when I am piecing together the history of a particular vendor relationship or campaign, being able to line documents up by date would make the picture clearer at a glance. A simple chronological sort would be the biggest help, so I can line results up by date and see how a vendor relationship or campaign unfolded. Beyond that, being able to group results by document type, supplier, or campaign would let me narrow to just contracts or the files tied to one initiative rather than scanning everything at once. "Effortlessly Streamlines Document Processing and Fraud Detection"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

I really appreciate how Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) automatically reads, classifies, and routes vendor paperwork, cutting out the manual triage. This saves me from the tedious task of manual sorting and helps keep errors out of a case. The fact that fields are extracted beforehand is a great advantage when reconstructing the paper trail behind a flagged transaction. Additionally, I'm able to go straight to the analytical work instead of spending time keying in data, and with fewer transcription errors, the inconsistencies I flag are actual signals rather than noise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iron Mountain InSight Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)?

Where it tends to fall short is setting up the extraction rules. The engine is strong, but teaching it to recognize an unfamiliar document type asks for more technical background than you might expect, which slows a team down when a new format appears without warning. Tighter integration with our internal systems would help too, chiefly dashboards showing processing status as it happens rather than after the fact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
