The ability to add pictures, complete the checkout process, and store information makes this software a great thing for recreation departments. **What do you dislike about InnoSoft Fusion?** Too many options can confuse employees and the occasional error message that is standard with a software like this. **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** Consider your employees when purchasing this software. It makes transactions so much easier, which is important when this is potentially an employee's first job. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that Fusion solves is the learning curve associated with recreation software. This is by far the easiest software I have ever used, and it's super easy to train student employees on. The main benefit of this is the ability to teach employees the software quicker, while also cutting down the wait time for patrons. ### 3. Very memory intensive, basically a Microsoft Access program. **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** It's great if you have a university subsytem you can connect to. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Fusion to monitor our universities rock climbing wall. It makes signing in a lot easier than manually entering names. ### 4. Would like better functionality with communicating with members (being able to communicate via mobile device) and with images, etc. **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** Great for university recreation! **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking daily sales and staff member processing those sales; revenue tracking. Ability to record & analyze reports on membership sales, locker sales, towel service, and program registration is beneficial for decision making. Access control is being managed and the ability to view a daily log as well as history is beneficial. ### 5. We recently opened our online portal so that people could register for things online it has made such a smooth transition into online payments and registration so much easier. **What do you dislike about InnoSoft Fusion?** Fusion can sometimes run pretty slow and if your computers aren't top notch you can run into some problems especially when a new software update becomes present sometimes we need to close down our access entry because of so many problems. **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** Works great and their customer service makes things so much easier especially when needed for a problem to be fixed. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving access problems and learning on how to grow our online portal so that our customers receive the most from our services. ### 6. Everything is easy to find and if you can't find something you can search for it. **What do you dislike about InnoSoft Fusion?** I wish there were more results when you search for a member or that you could scroll through more results. sometimes you only know somebody's first name (or last name) and it is so common that you have more than 50 results. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had problems with people sneaking into our facility so we are able to easily track when they have paid to enter and when they have been caught sneaking in. ### 7. It may not always work as desired and will often cause problems when syncing with card readers. It can also be quite slow at times to load, delaying a transaction **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** Make it work for you! Support is usually willing and able to help work through problems, although they may not always be able to do what you want. The system is a little limiting, but with proper training and patience it can be a fantastic tool in the workplace! **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** The tracking of purchases and even who sold them are huge! The software is basic point and click but it takes multiple clicks to get to a certain point and sometimes the buttons are not specific to the issue you need so you have to click either multiple buttons to get to a specific area or click a button that doesn’t specify what you mean **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** It’s easy to use of course with practice but Epic as a healthcare software is better **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Benefits include multiple buttons to include information you may have or may need to complete a chart or anything else. I like that is is customizable and has multiple features. **What do you dislike about InnoSoft Fusion?** Fusion can be very slow sometimes and the software crashes sometimes which is frustrating when trying to sell memberships to customers **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** It is user-friendly and the Fusion staff are always very supportive and helpful when dealing with any problems or concerns that we need addressed. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** We sell gym memberships, towel, and locker services with fusion, as well as register people for programs, sport clubs, and sport camps. It is beneficial to have a software that allows us to sell and process all of our services in one place. ### 10. For the system admin, there is little to do once you have the system fully running and ready. They have also been great over the years in upgrading and listening to clients suggestions for new features, upgrades and updates. **What do you dislike about InnoSoft Fusion?** In the past years they have grown substantially, which has caused issues in software updates. The last few updates we received were full of bugs that caused numerous operational issues in the moment. These caused a lot of frustration and time spent rectifying issues caused by it. Fusion has listened and hopefully moving forward we do not deal with these glitches that can easily be caught on their end before being pushed out to large programs. **Recommendations to others considering InnoSoft Fusion:** Although the price will increase the longer you wait to sign up as more schools jump on board, the product will also get better. The best suggestion we can give is to sign up sooner than later to get the best pricing available. **What problems is InnoSoft Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fusion has catapulted us from a paper operation to a fully integrated and streamlined department. While you obviously have to tailor some of your procedures and process to their system for it to work. There was never any major issue with this and made professional staff rethink how retool how processes were handled to eliminate unnecessary steps. Our accounting is also fully streamlined which has given us powerful tools such as reporting and access to information to assess and make smarter choices. ### 12. If you only need some of the features, shop around and see if there is a more specialized tool available for you to use. Also, be sure to have someone technical to help with installation and troubleshooting. It can be a time consuming process to implement and troubleshoot. Also, it takes constant updates to keep the Fusion data in sync with your main database.
