  ### 3. A decent starting ad partner but not great over the long haul

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William S. | Managing Partner, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about infolinks?**

It was reasonably simple to get Infolinks hooked up and running on my site. I did get fairly steady ad revenue for most of the time I was with them, though the results didn't set the world on fire.

**What do you dislike about infolinks?**

When a private equity company expressed interest in buying my websites, I tried to work closely with Infolinks to ensure that the new owners would get the same kind of results I got, or better. Unfortunately, during the testing period, ad revenue plunged and the buyers pulled out of the deal. Infolinks cost me a big payday. Also, when I made the switch to a new partner, it was a few months before Infolinks even reached out to ask what had happened.

**What problems is infolinks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Infolinks was supposed to be helping me monetize my content through advertising. Like I said, they did somewhat well at this, but when I later made the switch away from Infolinks to a new ad partner, my revenue went way, way up. So, they benefited me for a while, but weren't of great benefit over the long haul.

  ### 4. works well in serving the ads

**What do you dislike about infolinks?**

the ads sometimes look spammy and way too repetetive. the pay is very low

**What problems is infolinks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

capitalise on traffic i brought to my site by placing ads

  ### 5. Infolink illegally ran pop up ads without my consent leading to poor UX and loss of traffic

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrico U. | Head of EMEA Field Marketing: Northern Europe (UK Nordics, Benelux, DACH), CEEMEA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about infolinks?**

Easy to set up via plugins and code snippets. I liked that they allow various forms of ads including in text ads and in article ads. In the end I was not able to test and see the results since they ran unauthorized ads without my consent.

**What do you dislike about infolinks?**

They misled me and caused me to suffer almost a week of lost traffic. I had a team of developers looking into performance issues who discovered that infolinks was running unauthorized ads on my sites (of course with zero monetization reported). Not only this but ads slowed speed times and were only in certain geographies in the USA. I had only authorized text ads and the dashboard was showing only text so how did they manage to run ads with huge pop overs especially on homepage without my consent? When I confronted via email to inquire if this was they case they sent a generic reply and suspended my account.

**What problems is infolinks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monetizing moderately trafficked sites which are growing and which demonstrate high growth potential. Infolinks has several ad formats which offer a nice selection (in theory) to choose from. Unfortunately, despite only activating 2 ad formats and enable 1, they ran the exact kind of ad format anyone who cares about UX wants: pop up ads. Not only are pop up ads intrusive and provide a poor UX but the kind they deployed drastically slowed down my sites to point fully loaded were +10 seconds and in comse cases over 20 seconds! My developers investigated and alerted me, providing screenshots and reports after which I wrote to support at Infolinks and instead of helping me address, they suspended my account and sent me a generic reply stating my websites dont meet their standards.

  ### 6. an alternative to adsense

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachid F. | Financial Management Advisor / Conseiller en Gestion Financière, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about infolinks?**

If Google Ad-sense did not approve your website, then Infolinks may be a good option. It's a decent program. The ads displayed are not too spammy. I have a personal finance website. Some of the ads were related to the topic of the posts, and others were not. Their ads are of better quality than others in the market. They offer various types of ads: smart links, regular ads. Their website is well built. Summary reports of your earnings are straightforward. They have a one-day delay. They can also send you daily messages with your payments to your email adress.
Getting your website ready with Infolinks is not complicated. Just follow their instruction, and the ads will start showing. You can customize the types of ads that can show.

**What do you dislike about infolinks?**

I found the earnings were too low. The number of ads was also limited. It's probably due to my niche vs. inventory of advertisers.

**Recommendations to others considering infolinks:**

You should try it. It all depends on your niche. Keep in mind, though, getting approved by Google Adsense should be your objective.

**What problems is infolinks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was trying to monetize my website. Infolinks was a good entry point to understand the whole concept of ads. When Google Adsense accepted me, I was already knowledgeable enough, thanks to Infolinks.

  ### 7. Best For Beginner Bloggers.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harish N. | Social Media Marketing Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2020

**What do you like best about infolinks?**

The best thing is that, Infolinks is literally good for Bloggers who are looking for an alternative to adsense for monetizing their blog.

**What do you dislike about infolinks?**

It sometimes generate low revenue. And also we have to constantly optimize ut for SEO friendly.

**What problems is infolinks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had started earning with their Publisher program. They approve bloggers immediately as compared to adsense.
