The thing I like best about iLovePDF is how simple and stress-free it makes working with PDF files. Unlike other tools that can be slow, complicated, or expensive, iLovePDF puts all the essential PDF features in one easy-to-use platform. Whether I’m merging, compressing, converting, or splitting PDFs, it’s just a matter of a few clicks and the task is done in seconds even for large files. I especially love its speed and reliability. For example, I once had to send a 20MB PDF to a client but the email limit was 10MB. iLovePDF’s Compress PDF feature reduced it to under 5MB in under 10 seconds without losing quality. The variety of tools is also a big plus — Merge PDF for invoices, Split PDF for extracting pages, and Convert PDF to Word for editable documents. The clean, user-friendly interface means there’s no time wasted figuring out how it works, and the free version is genuinely useful without locking away the most important features. Although iLovePDF is a very useful tool, there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. Sometimes the processing speed can be a bit slow when working with large files, especially when I’m merging multiple high-resolution PDFs for client projects. Also, certain advanced features, like OCR text recognition or editing specific sections, are available only in the premium plan, which can be limiting for regular professional use. The mobile app is handy, but it could be more stable and offer the same range of tools as the web version. It offers several free web services for processing PDFs. You don’t need to register to use the services or to download the processed files. The website is available in multiple languages; the icons are very clear, and each feature comes with a description, which makes it easy to understand for everyone. The homepage provides an overview of all available features, and there are also buttons that let you organize the functions and show only specific categories of commands, such as tools to Optimize PDFs or only those to Convert PDFs. On the homepage, I think the top menu should be reorganized, because it feels less effective than the button system below for browsing command categories. The first three menu items seem to relate to a single command, while the last two group too many commands together, which makes the overall structure feel unbalanced.

Compared to the web version, the Desktop version is extremely limited, since it only offers free PDF reading. Even in the online version, some tools are reserved for the paid premium plan.
