Easy sign in and sign off feature and operation which keep it easy to access the content. And keeps it less time consuming. Its a one safe place for storing and editing the web content. Supportive too all type of content for digital marketing. It can be used by any of the fields user, as the learning curve of idev CMS is quite smooth and easy to understand the processing of the tool. It allows and gives the flexiility of scheduling the posts and ads to be pblished and managed automatically. All the campsigns are operated and scheduled by the AI features and technology which is time saving and always on time. Has all the interface well arranged and is fully customizable, no limitation in replacing the widgets or tools. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** Poor workflow processing speed and larger time buffer while navigating or switching between multiple tabs and webs at one time, it is not easy at all. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** The application has made our marketing channels and portals engaged and everytime updated with new content. The automation features are leting us to post and schedule larger number of ads easily. ### 2. The content library is easy to use and the CMS is fairly easy to navigate through. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** The system does not take changes as fast as it should, and if someone else is on the editing page it will become very difficult to publish what you want to. It also is not user friendly for those who do not have a strong knowledge of web design/html/css. The turnaround for the ticketing system time is also ungodly slow. I would not recommend this to a small company either since American Eagle has much larger clients that they deal with. **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** Compare other solutions prior to going with idev. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Able to change some things without contacting American Eagle is nice. It is also nice to have the ability to add different admins and give them different roles. ### 4. Very short learning curve, and that comes from a non-IT guy. I have used / tried to use a number of different CMS systems and by far the CMS AmericanEagle.com offers is the easiest and most effective system I have found. Next to their people, their CMS is the greatest asset for our web site. After using the AmericanEagle.com CMS I dont want to use any other system. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** Not much. Maybe change the colors of the background, but that is a small point. **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** Look closely at what AmericanEagle.com offers and compare it to other software platforms. You will find what I did; AmericanEagle.com has a much better product and they keep re-investing in the product to make it better. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of replacing an outdated and barely functional web site with a state-of-the art web site that does and excellent job reflecting our company. The benefits include greater web traffic and a much better user friendly experience. The greater traffic has resulted in stronger sales revenue. ### 6. The integration with Hawk Search and idev Broadcast email is convenient and proves to be a powerful marketing tool. The ability to quickly create or edit content saves us time and money. Integration with our external inventory system gives our customer a real time window into product availability. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** The WYSIWYG content plugin could be a bit more user friendly however with a little practice and some basic HTML code knowledge our content team has it down pat. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to streamline content management and provide a simple to use ecommerce platform that didn't need an on site IT staff to maintain. We were able to grow our business without adding content management and website maintenance staff. ### 7. It also allows for easy content sign-off. It is flexible enough to create custom content and is one of the few CMS I have seen that allows robust form/database integration. The tools provided make it easy to edit almost any part of your website and to manage contests. polls and lists. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** There is nothing that I dislike. All of the features that I would expect are present as well as a few unexpected features. **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** Functional and powerful, idev provides all of the tools necessary to manage our site and out lists. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a B2C event company and we need to make sure that the public is aware of our event. They support is seven days a week, with fast and efficient responses to our inquires. We definetly recommend the implementation. Estudio Iacona uses this software and we are really proud to work with Americaneagle web web design and ecommerce solution. Tony and Mike Svanascini are excelent professionals, improving day by day their work. If we are not able to do something American Eagle is just a phone call away for help solving our issue. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are now mobile responsive and using this CMS allows us greater flexibility to change our non-for-profit on the fly. ### 11. Complete lack of customizations, and when you pay for them they do not follow instructions or follow through with objectives. E-commerce is horrid not responsive or mobile out of the box costs more money than its worth too expensive for what you get not even comparable to wordpress **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** posting and updating company content / branding standards ### 12. My Experience: Quality, user-friendly product that allows great flexibility **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Todd R. | Director of Marketing and Communications, Sports, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015 **What do you like best about idev CMS?** americaneagle.com's idev platform offers great flexibility. it is an out of the box solution so you aren't bound to countless customization changes but you have the flexibility where you need and want it. i have used idev for several years and appreciate the upgrades that americaneagle.com provides. evolution is constant and you want a solution that can evolve as you need it. better than the tech, and it is solid and proven, the company behind it all is committed to providing the best solutions to meet your needs. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** i'm in the process of upgrading to the newest version of the idev platform and i guess my gripe is that i didn't have to go through my own red tape to get the new system in place. as is the case with any technology, i want the newest thing now. waiting a couple of months, given the size and scope of what we are doing, isn't bad but wouldn't it be great if i could get it today? **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** idev is worth your time to compare and i believe after your due diligence that you will be impressed with the features, flexibility and support. i've personally used idev for several years and i am in the process of bringing over our entire web platform of 40+ sites to gain the benefits of the new features. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** the primary objective was to bring our digital solutions to a more modern and relevant reality. after our man hub site was completed we branched out to create a platform of connected sites to better leverage the technology across the association. this was a huge win for the association with increased member benefits and a lift in the professionalization of the association's digital properties. the additional benefits have been increased annual growth in visits/pages/time and sponsor interest. these are great gains regardless of the industry. ### 13. The design and usability is awesome. The speed of the site is OK. The CMS is strong and reliable. AE emplopyees are friendly and are always willing to help you sell more. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** They need more technology for SEO and the admin is a bit slow. **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** Very good option.......they have it all in the site to help you sell more and very friendly people. You will not be a number on their client list, it will be a personal relationship with the account manager. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Revenue geneeration is my main focus. The site is perfect since it has all the tools to build a well functioning and good usability home page, product listing pages, product detail pages, shopping cart and checkout. ### 14. This platform met all of our requirements and is very simple to use. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Needed an easy to use CMS that had good SEO exposure. It did indeed publish content and allow us to host a site. Very basic, however. **What do you dislike about idev CMS?** Lack of customization; we were very limited to what we could do, and when it came time to redesign our site and make it more nimble, AE did not have any of the capabilities needed (like separate links for articles on a sub-section of our website so we could share them on social media). **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** If you're looking for a very basic CMS, this will work. But if you want something more customizable that has a vast bank of widgets and the like, you can't use AE. Wordpress worked great for us and the user experience was incredible. Unfortunately, I do not recommend AE. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used AE solely for content; it was used for a online industry newsletter, so our needs were fairly basic. We did not have any e-commerce needs, etc. The benefits were not great enough to stay with the CMS tool; we switched to Wordpress when we re-designed and re-launched our site. ### 17. Photos, charts, slideshows are practically non-existent, and different fonts are beyond the question. It is not SEO friendly and overall needs a lot of improvement in order to stand out in a crowded CMS space. The layout is very difficult to update as well. Did I mention it is not free either? **Recommendations to others considering idev CMS:** Just use Wordpress or Joomla. **What problems is idev CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** The reason for using AE was because our Company's online newsletter was on it so we were forced to used it.
