The documentation available for advanced usage of E-workbook is dismal. Permissions are often not documented at all, and there are a number of features or configuration items that are entirely undocumented. IDBS E-workbook is allows a Process Development user to ensure that they are compliant with their development work. It allows users to review one another's work. I like the file structure of the software, which allows users to only access project folders they need access to. As someone who has used this system as and administrator, I like the ease of use of using the permissions system with IDBS. As someone who has used spreadsheet designer, I find that it is learnt quite easily, at the basic level. However, there is a steep learning curve to ensure that administrators/spreadsheet designers understand the software fully. It is quite complex for big templates.
