This is real quick and gives you output direct from memory. This probably is one of the best utility when you are troubleshooting. Apart from that, setting up replication is super easy. One of the best database i have ever used **What do you dislike about IBM Informix?** there is nothing which i dislike about this product. **What problems is IBM Informix solving and how is that benefiting you?** Earlier we were having issues with the application performance when we were on oracle 11g. But then we migrated from Oracle to Informix and we have seen our application is just flying like anything. Response time was super awesome and failover was mindblowing. ### 4. First of all it hardly crashes! However, whatever the reason for the crash it could be, it comes back with a simple command in just seconds. That means, less downtime and the customer/users get the database back within few seconds after the crash. Then the DBA or System Admin can take their time to analyze the problem and workaround etc. **What do you dislike about IBM Informix?** I have been supporting Informix as a Database Administrator since it was version 5.x. I have seen several name changes, unclear road map, and lack of clarity on the top level management, prior to the time it was sold to IBM. Few of the things - The product like XPS was discontinued. The most important fact was a lot of good customers/clients moved out of Informix. Noticing a decrease in the IIUG participation each year. Informix has a huge runtime. Some of our customer have 2000 days uptime.
