We first obtained the I Am Responding platform several years ago as a means to document continuing education and be notified of requests for service. Due to our own internal barriers, we were unable to implement the alerting feature and the other features were partially duplicated by other services and procedures. In the last few weeks we've taken a fresh look at this platform and realize the potential of tracking meetings and public events in addition to response records. The web user interface feels very dated. Their Android and iOS have a modern UI, as does the NFIRS module, so we hope the main UI is going the same direction. I like that I can view my schedule far in advance, as well as the schedules of the duty crew. It allows myself to plan ahead and it lets me know who I am relieving or who is coming in to relieve me.

I dislike the mapping. Maybe it is just my phone being difficult, but it always takes forever to load so I just use my own GPS app. Not a big deal but since most people have smart phones I don’t think this feature is as necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
