However it is much better than using a spreadsheet. **Recommendations to others considering Workbench by i-nexus:** i-nexus is a very flexible tool with many options. The key to implementing any software is to understand your own needs and current processes before engaging a software. i-nexus has been very supportive in this capability. But we needed to get a sign-off each month to ensure our savings were true. we now use this to track projects, we can simply assign project types and get sign-offs, meaning we don't have to spend time setting up pivot tables and creating e-mail trains ### 14. It has an excessive number of fields to complete (compulsory) that do not have a defined logic or meaning. I like a lot the intuitive and friendly usability. I like the data consistency. I like that the all information regarding releases is very well organized and documented. **What do you dislike about Workbench by i-nexus?** Is not possible to filter by "Deleted" owners, which is annoying because I have to make the "deleted" owner back to active in order to apply the filter, then back to active. Opportunity doest not show owner inline edit, then when I need to transfer the ownership from one user to another, I need to impersonate the user, then open one by one the opportunities. Exchange Rates tables does not allow the filtering by UoM only by dates then I need to go along the full list when I need to find one rate for specific currency. **Recommendations to others considering Workbench by i-nexus:** i-Nexus is a able to manage very complex operations with very friendly usability, this combination is amazing. The tool is pretty stable, the data consistency is quite good. The additional capability is sometimes confusing in the initial setup. **What problems is Workbench by i-nexus solving and how is that benefiting you?** In our large, complex and heavily matrixed organisation we have a number of strategies from functions, regions and businesses. It is often difficult to communicate and coordinate actions to meet all of these objectives given these different inputs and players. I-Nexus’ X matrix has helped us consolidate, prioritise and align our objectives at each level of the business as part of our Hoshin Kanri deployment. By using the X Matrix we provide clarity and focus through the organisation to ensure that actions on the lowest level contribute to our Vision. It would be easier to allocate a person directly to tasks, with an appropriate percentage of their time, rather than filling out the project roles tab. I also regularly get caught out that I cannot autofill a field with the "tab" keyboard key when I have started to type an entry which most forms do **What problems is Workbench by i-nexus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our main issue at the moment is resource utilisation and prioritisation of projects. Having a single source of truth enables us to manage all of our projects under a single umbrella aligned to our organisational goals and objectives to provide more efficient decision-making on our portfolio, programs, and projects. We can identify and evaluate potential projects, approve future projects, assign resources to each project, and efficiently track progress via the dashboard and reporting tool. One of the best features of using i-nexus though is the account manager support and development capability of the back office team. **What do you dislike about Workbench by i-nexus?** The hoshin-kanri matrix and KPI tool aren't particularly intuitive to use or populate with data. I personally find this to be one of the most significant barriers to my team moving forward with tracking progress on our key project metrics. **What problems is Workbench by i-nexus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The key mission of my team and group is to meet both strategic and short-term goals. And every project that we undertake is a step towards that goal. Thus, the project managers leading these must ensure that projects are aligned with business strategy and objectives. This makes for a very comprehensive business platform and so wherever I go as a business consultant, I always suggest my clients to consider using i-nexus ASAP! The only thing I can remember disliking is having to learn where to click and how to do certain advanced things like adding users or modifying screen views.
