The team we work with at Hueman is amazingly responsive, partnering very closely with our hiring managers and with the central HR team to learn our processes and culture, and contintually adjusting to meet our needs. They are proactive in suggesting better ways to recruit, leveraging wider knowledge from across Hueman and the recruitment sector. They also have supplemental resources that we can tap into as needed, like marketing, and are willing to be creative and develop or hire new expertise on the team where we need it. I really can't think of anything I dislike about Hueman. They're fantastic. An argument could be made about pricing, but the flexibility and responsiveness that Hueman offer are worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With staffing at all time critical levels having someone dedicated to recruiting is important. With the number of vacant positions there should be extended times of focusing on finding applicants. We have been able to get interviews set up and offers out more efficiently. I do like having a recruiter to focus on nursing positions and another to focus on all other support staff. Maybe it would help if they spent time at the faciltiy routinely to become more familiar with the atmosphere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its sometimes like playing a game of telephone. The recruiter, leadership, HR, and candidate. There is a lot of back and forth without direct communication at time. Feels less personalized. Difficult communication at times. I don't feel like this in the fault of anyone. Its being offsite and recruiting for a facility that isn't known firsthand. I have had multiple people checkin to the wrong area of the hospital and wait for 20 minutes or more for me and I am unaware they have even arrived. Each of them show me an email sent to them giving them instrutions to check in the way they did. Indviduals asking questions during the interview to clarify things that were told to them during phone screening that is inaccurate. Also me interviewing, saying make an offer, and then salary having to be requested from HR is cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest challenge is that some leaders only see the monthly expense and immediately make interpretation on whether it is worth or not. Do a cost-benefit analysis and be prepared to demonstrate the value-add from all perspectives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hueman really took the time to dive into our various collective bargaining agreements and processes to ensure that they follow established practice and protocol in selecting candidates to fill positions. In the beginning, they worked to understand our hiring and onboarding process to find the natural points where it makes the most sense for them to step into and out of the process. The only downside is that our candidates don't always know who to reach out to when they have questions during the process. They reach HR if they use the advertised "contact us" info on our jobs website, but they work with our Hueman Recruiter throughout the interview and job offer, and then are handed to an onboarding coordinator.
