"Hostman appears to be an accessible and potentially valuable cloud solution."
What do you like best about Hostman?

Hostman can be viewed as a cost-effective option compared to AWS and DigitalOcean. The platform offers a user-friendly deployment process that doesn't demand advanced DevOps expertise—even when working with Docker containers. Thanks to its integration with GitHub or Bitbucket, setup is simple and efficient. Hostman is also notable for its affordability and scalable features, making it a practical choice for many projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Certain advanced functionalities for large enterprise clients—such as more granular access management—are still missing, but this isn’t a significant drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've been running my startup"
What do you like best about Hostman?

I've been running my startup on Hostman for over two months now. At the beginning, I encountered some minor issues, but I later realized they were due to my own misconfiguration. Once I fixed that, the performance improved significantly and everything started running smoothly.

Currently, my service is stable, and I haven’t experienced any problems since. One thing worth mentioning—if you're using an Ubuntu server, it can help to adjust your sources.list file based on the server's physical location.

In my case, the server was located in the Netherlands. Initially, package installations were slow and sometimes froze. After switching to a mirror located in the Netherlands, those issues were completely resolved, and the server has been performing excellently.

That said, this was just my personal experience—others may not encounter the same issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if you do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

There is no such thing yet, as I have not seen any problems yet. Everything works stably and clearly for now Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward and developer-friendly cloud hosting"
What do you like best about Hostman?

As a technical writer, I've found Hostman incredibly user-friendly. Its intuitive interface and simple implementation, especially with Git integration for quick deployments, really streamline my workflow and save time. I also appreciate their responsive customer support and helpful features like automated CI/CD, free SSL, CDN, and backups, which make managing web applications much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

From a technical documentation standpoint, I've noticed that while Hostman has a "Docs" section and some tutorials, the depth and breadth of the documentation could be improved. More comprehensive guides would benefit technical users, particularly for advanced configurations and troubleshooting scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hostman seems to be a convenient and promising cloud"
What do you like best about Hostman?

We consider Hostman a budget-friendly alternative to AWS and DigitalOcean. It is easy to use for deployment, requiring no extensive DevOps knowledge (including Docker containers). Since it integrates with GitHub or Bitbucket, implementation is straightforward. Additionally, it is cost-effective and offers flexible scaling options, which are highly beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Some advanced features for large corporate clients are still absent (for instance, more detailed access control), but it's not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Developer-Friendly Hosting with Room to Grow"
What do you like best about Hostman?

I personally set up a test account on Hostman to review its performance and usability. Overall:

- It’s a very developer-friendly platform

- The one-click WordPress install worked smoothly

- The container-based scaling makes life easier for heavy / complex apps.

- The dashboard is basic but easy to use

- Git integration is working and smooth seamless

- Price is fair, slightly cheaper than main stream players

In our benchmarks, my Hostman site performed well under moderate traffic. Page load times were consistently fast, and the built-in CDN delivered solid global speeds. Staging environments were easy to spin up, which is a big plus for testing changes safely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Hostman (understandably, given how new they are) misses some advanced tuning options seen in other main-stream hosts. The user dashboard can be too basic if you are used to other PaaS.

Also, PHP worker limits aren’t clearly stated, which makes it harder to recommend for high-demand WordPress sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Some internal processes can occasionally feel overly complex, but they’re adaptable and steadily improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Clean, Modern Dev Experience with One Minor Speedbump"
What do you like best about Hostman?

It offers a straightforward way for deploying applications, and its user-friendly UI simplifies the whole setup process. It's Git integration and one-click staging environments and are godsend for devs because I don't like juggling separate service providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Their docs cover the basics but if your setup is a bit non-standard say if you want to fine-tune environment variables for a multi-container setup there isn't much! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using Cloud is more simple with Hostman"
What do you like best about Hostman?

One of the best thing about using Hostman is the simplicity to use. It doesn't require vast technical knowledge. Provisioning of resources has been made easier by Hostman. Also, it offers wide variety of services such as database, storage, servers which works as fundamental requirement of IT technologies. If anyone is just into cloud service then implemenation of project in hostman is quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Lack of proper documentation has been a major problem to use some of the services. I have also faced a problem with server lagging as well. As cloud services are mainly used for agility, hostman need to solve such issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hostman Comprehensive Review of Simplicity and Potential"
What do you like best about Hostman?

It been few years that I have been working on Cloud and most of the cloud service requires technical expertise to use them properly. But, using Hostman has been the easiest one. No need of deep technical knowledge for running servers, querying database and using cloud for storage. Its one of the best service provider for hosting website which require higher computational need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hostman?

Although being the easiest to use, it should provide proper documentation which is lacking. Also, accessing servers through console is not properly responsive enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
