Horaflow Reviews & Product Details

Horaflow is employee time tracking and workforce productivity software designed for growing teams. Built as a direct alternative to Hubstaff and Time Doctor, Horaflow delivers the same core monitoring features at a fraction of the cost — $250 per month flat for up to 200 users, with no per-seat pricing surprises. Unlike traditional employee monitoring tools that charge per seat, Horaflow's flat-rate model makes it approximately 10 times cheaper for mid-size teams. A 200-person team pays $1,500 per month on Hubstaff Grow but just $250 on Horaflow — saving $15,000 every year without losing a single feature. Horaflow's time tracking is fully automatic. Once installed, the desktop agent runs silently in the background, logging work hours and capturing random-interval screenshots that are significantly harder to game than fixed-interval monitoring used by competitors. Productivity scoring analyzes keyboard activity, mouse movement, and active application usage — giving managers a detailed breakdown of exactly which apps and websites employees spent time on throughout the day. Project management is built into the core platform. Employees log time directly against tasks on Kanban project boards, so managers get accurate reports showing which employee worked on which task, for how long, and when. Time reports can be filtered by project, employee, date range, or task — giving operations leads and HR teams the granular data they need for client billing, performance reviews, and capacity planning. Attendance management in Horaflow is built for teams running multiple shifts — morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight — with correct time attribution across calendar boundaries regardless of shift pattern. Detailed attendance reports show clock-in and clock-out times, total hours worked, late arrivals, early departures, and absences for every employee across every shift. Leave management — covering annual leave, sick leave, and casual leave — is bundled into the platform at no additional cost, unlike tools that charge for it as a separate add-on. Additional features include meeting mode that automatically suppresses idle alerts during calls, idle detection with configurable thresholds, and scheduled email digests delivering attendance and productivity summaries to managers. The platform supports Mac, Windows, and Linux with signed installers that deploy in under five minutes per machine. Migrating from Hubstaff or Time Doctor is straightforward. Teams export their existing user list as a CSV, bulk import into Horaflow, and send the installer link — most teams complete the migration in a single weekend. Horaflow is the ideal employee monitoring software for operations managers, HR teams, and business owners who need accurate time tracking, screenshot monitoring, app usage analytics, project-level reporting, multi-shift attendance tracking, and leave management in one platform — without paying per seat.
