In a hotel-sourcing world that often feels dominated by Cvent, Hopskip is a welcome alternative. Cvent has always felt clunky, outdated, and expensive for both planners and hoteliers. Hopskip, by contrast, is clearly built with a genuine interest in creating an efficient, intuitive, and easy-to-use product.

Their live support chat connects me with a real person within seconds, and in most cases my questions or concerns are resolved within minutes. What stands out most is how receptive the team is to user feedback and how committed they are to continually improving the platform.

I don’t have any major dislikes - I wish I could shout from the rooftop for every hotelier to move over from Cvent to Hopskip. To be honest, I haven't found much about Hopskip that isn't helpful. The platform has been a valuable tool for hotel sourcing and has made my research process much more efficient. The only challenge I've encountered is that, on occasion, I need to explain to hotel sales teams that I use Hopskip as part of my sourcing process. Some hoteliers are very familiar with the platform, while others are not and may initially push back or have questions about how the inquiry originated. Once I explain the process, those concerns are usually resolved. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about HopSkip. The creators there are very open to making my suggested changes to the software, and I greatly appreciate that. The only downside is that sometimes for a sole proprietor, the cost can be expensive; however, I make that money back by the hours I save on sourcing because I use HopSkip! I use HopSkip to source hotels throughout the world. It saves me a ton of time with RFP templates, saving contacts, and especially in client proposals and reporting. I love that they're constantly evolving the technology and champion for user feedback. My favorite feature currently is the live link they provide for clients to be able to see hotel proposals through the decision deck. The very best thing about Hopskip is the staff and support they offer. I love the chatbot and that it gets me to a human when needed, and quickly. I love the entire team, they're incredibly responsive and collaborative. In a technological world, everyone is so sick of being put on hold and robots that don't understand. While this technology is advanced and evolving, I never feel like I'm just stuck and have and entire team humans behind it to help. It's truly the best of so many worlds! I would love to see more hotels getting on board. I want HopSkip to reach out to hotels to make the experience better on their end because it sometimes can affect the response rate. I think the messaging system needs to be updated within the platform and, would love more customizations to have it work within my unique workflow, or pulling reports to lessen the formatting work. An intuitive platform with exceptional service. I love that I can easily troubleshoot when I don't know something, and if I can't figure it out, there is always someone available to help. I love that the HS team truly listens to needs of the planner and is always looking to make improvements for the good of the industry. Hopskip is highly intuitive to learn and use and makes the process of site sourcing very simple. The tool comprehensively collects all of the necessary information for an RFP in an easy step-by-step format and has a robust search feature, making the identification of suitable properties very easy. If I ever encounter any issues while using the platform, the customer support team is incredibly responsive and efficient which is also a key feature in their user experience.
