The worst thing about Hive is its relatively slow performance compared to traditional relational databases, particularly for small or simple queries. This is due to the fact that Hive is optimized for batch processing of large datasets rather than real-time processing. Additionally, the learning curve for Hive can be steep for users who are not familiar with Hadoop and the associated ecosystem tools.

Needed a lot of reading the manual before using the platform. This could be fixed with an easy to understand and use user interface and easy navigation.

**What do you like best about Hive.co?**

I like the app feature so I don't have to be viewing my projects and working through my browser at the same time. I can easily work in multiple windows. I also love that chat is integrated so I don't have to have multiple apps to check throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

I've found the proofing process a bit difficult to learn at first, likely due to my limited screen space. There are certain words and buttons that overlap on the top of the screen and it makes it a challenge to click on the right button for my needs. Again, not necessarily a HIVE issue, more of a screen space issue.

**What problems is Hive.co solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are really streamlining project management and the proofing process. With a platform we used previously, there was a lot of downloading and uploading of edited files - with HIVE we can annotate and put notes right in the project itself.

It is well organized and users would not face any difficulty in understanding its interface. I was able to work comfortably within 1 day of onboarding hive. I was looking for all in one solution and i found it in hive.

well, I faced some issues with CRM syncing apart from that it was an awesome experience. it could have been better if CRM syncing would be done in real-time.

I like the fact that everyone on the team can see each other's emails. So if you or a coworker is out sick, you can follow along with process of what's happening and assist others.

When you hit reply, it automatically puts your personal email instead of the hub email. So you have to always double-check and make sure you're in the right account.

Solving problems on who reached out to our vendors, when, and what was discussed. The benefits are having all the emails in one spot. Easy to search.

Hive is one of the great tools for email marketing. Hive offers dozens of native third-party integrations with tools like Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and Shopify. Its CRM functionality helps our team with automating various marketing tasks.

So far I didn't find anything to dislike about this product. All the features are really helpful for our business.

It's super simple to collaborate. We have several levels of review, and it's easy to have multiple people log in to review and edit content. Would definitely recommend for people who are new to email communication software.

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

I don't have much to complain about; I suppose the features are pretty basic so for people trying to create complex content, this might not be the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Hive.co:**

Discuss with your teammates how many people should be involved with the email communications process, if you need other features (I haven't used SMS for example, but know they advertise that quite a bit) and compare plans. For a small team creating email communications, it's a competitive price.

We have several different audiences we share email communications and newsletters with, and needed a tool that was easy to layout and schedule email communications with.

Some of the features are quite similar at first so its a little bit of trial and error which of the suite of features works best, but once this has been established its fine.

Set time aside to trial all of the features in beta mode before going live so that you are not overwhelmed when in the live environment.

Hive has fabulous Integration with identity resolution, robust API and great connections with other services ,plus excellent support. And unlike Mailchimp or others, there are no worries about privacy or data safety.

No long-term trial makes it difficult for users to get a feel for it's overall power without committing to a paid tier. Would definitely increase the length to help the upsell to other stakeholders.

HIVE acts as the best step for growing brands who want deeper CRM / Audience understanding on-top of email marketing and API routing. A great "bang for the buck" solution.

It is good email marketing that you can use for your business or an eCommerce site. it is almost integrated with all the primary tools you want to use and it will make your work easy. It has got the best of both Klaviyo & Mailchimp, which is the best part of this tool.

If you are just started a new business then the price point can be little bit problem for you. It should integrated with facebook audience to update the audience automatically which can make your work easy.

The best part about this software is that it organises the structure of our customers into list so it's easily searchable. 

It has one of the powerful platform which is email marketing n sms which we don't get in others. And their support team is wonderful no doubt.

As of now nothing to be disliked about this app. 

Evrything is fine now and there are no such issues.

Client support, specifically our client success manager Sarah S., is hands down the best service we've ever received among any email platform we've ever used. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the product, has taken the time to learn our business, and is able to give recommendations on how Hive can best serve our business. She is quick to respond, provides frequent updates, and has a solution for almost every question we've had. 

The template builder has way more options compared to other services. Hive's integration with our ticketing system is incredible and provides extremely valuable detailed insights in to our demographics. Onboarding was quick and efficient and our rep even offered to create our first templates.

Really, I can't say enough great things about Hive!

There is nothing that I dislike so far! I will edit my answer if it changes for any reason (which I don't anticipate!).

**What do you like best about Hive.co?**

I like how easy everything is to use. After the initial set up, the usability of this platform is SOO easy! I like that I can build custom templates and use ones that I previously customized. I appreciate that there are several ways to upload contacts and the dashboard is easy to navigate too!

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

The only thing that I disliked was during set up. There were parts of the platform setup that I am not familiar with and instead of having a rep set it up for me, I was directed to FAQ style bullet points.  I basically had to teach myself the answers to my problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Hive.co:**

If you are interested in the KPI type reporting and seeing quick revenue return, then Hive is for you. If you like to customize each email, then Hive is for you.

**What problems is Hive.co solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving a deliverability issue by using Hive. My previous provider had so many limitations and the success rate of an email was way too low. I handle VIP emailing and when they werent getting their emails, it was causing major issues. My old provider had very little room for customizations too.

We've been working with Hive for many years, our team loves the platform. Hive's automated engagement segments are great, they make it easier to organize our lists. They've boosted our open rates since we switched some of our clients. The setup is super fast as well. Highly recommended for anyone looking to automate their email strategy. Also 10/10 for the timely and personal support.

Hope they find a way to roll out the SMS offer beyond the North America.

I like how like many other email software, you can create automations and tells you the campaign deliverability. The biggest advantage is that it integrated with Shopify and was able to show us what campaigns would deliver better.

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

I did not like that it didn't have API access like Sendgrid does to be able to monitor/send emails through an API. Otherwise the platform is very competitive with other marketing platforms.

Automating emails and understanding reports were definitely huge benfits that we've realized from using Hive.

Email proofs. Would be better served if we can send emails out to staff for review and collect comments/changes within the system like MailChimp offers.

Overall efficiency. No more requesting customer lists and uploading manually. Automatically pulled in from our ticket provider. Huge time savings.

**What do you like best about Hive.co?**

Onboarding to a new email platform is always a daunting task ~ but I have to say the HIVE has been super hands-on and supportive with all of my company's needs! My rep has been reliable, timely and always comes back with either a solution or next steps to get towards resolving any outstanding issues. 

Additionally, their team has also provided us valuable tools and resources to make the most of all of the features within the platform. Automated journeys have been exciting to experiment with, and HIVE has been great about providing us with a floor of understanding to start with. We look to make the most of them in the coming months/years!

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

Minimal to no bad experiences so far! If there was anything that would keep HIVE being a 10/10, it would be the template customization. It's good and this may be nitpicky, but it's not the easiest to work with when building new emails/templates. Does it get the job done though? Absolutely and then some.

**What problems is Hive.co solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The auto-engagement buckets have helped us optimize our email lists. We have observed improved open-rates, click-through rates, etc. 

Our direct integration with our ticketing platform (we are a music venue) is seamless, making both dynamic and static audience creation easier and more straight forward than ever.

Automation possibilities via journeys are a goldmine. Lots of possibilities we have yet to untap, but will continue to explore!

I like the ease of use, the dashboard is very intuitive and I like that it has good search abilities. It's great that you can use it for email, events and CRM in the same platform. The event feature is great for sending out marketing about concerts and other things that occur regularly for some businesses.

**What do you dislike about Hive.co?**

As with any tech there are learning curves to finding all the features and working the same way as your team within the platform, but they have a great customer service team to help get you onboarded and understand this hurdle.

Give it a try, i think it is helpful for a variety of businesses and helps to streamline the communication processes

Consolidating email communications with events. I have realized it makes sense to have one platform that everyone uses vs. having multiple different places to try and keep track of everything.
