HirinThing is an extremely user-friendly platform. We use this ATS for our corporate recruiting and for our client base, and every user has reported ease of use. One of our favorite features is the offer letter integration with Prism for new hire entry and the one-click post to 20+ major job boards.

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

Being able to speak to a service person, they work on the problem and get back to you they take ownership of it.  The upper managament is quick to find an answer for everything yoou need.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

The messaging and making a template for emails to send.  The biggest problem is there is no way to sort them in any way.  When you have a lot of templates is it very time consuming to find what you are looking for.   When you have your job ready and you go to choose the welcome letter and you click  the box and all the templates are there and they arer in alphabetical order so if it can be done there why not when you. go to create one.
THIS NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED!!!

our peoplle doing the hiring do not have to go to many different platforms to find their applicants, they are all in one place and sorted my job no matter which job board they applied on.

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

I like the active notes log function, and the integrated Cover Letter, Resume, and additional questions sections for each candidate. Employees conducting reviews then have everything they need in one place to review candidates before interviews, and then a good place to put notes and track if we should move forward in the interview process.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

HiringThing sends everyone in our account weekly (or sometimes daily) email updates - this is not necessary for most users at our company as they only log in before or after conducting interviews. Being able to toggle this function for each user for the company would be great to cut down on spam email our employees recieve.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all applicants as they are going through our company's hiring process. Removing the need to distribute resources from all candidates who applied, and consolidates all feedback into one location.

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

We've been able to customize the Hiring Thing platform to meet all of our needs. Best of all, the platform is cost effective for us and easy and intuitive for the end user. They also have great support and I love the chat option for help with issues and questions. We also use the HiringThing white label to share our workflows and processes with other companies in our industry.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

Some of the best features are a little buried in the settings section, so you'll have to be careful to go through each option very carefully to get the most out of the tool.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HiringThing streamlines our recruiting process into one easy-to-use and manage platform. Without hiring thing, we'd be relying on all of the different job boards to independently manage candidates and job postings, but hiring thing allows us to manage everything in one place.

I enjoy how user-friendly Hiring Thing is. I also appreciate receiving an email notification when one of our candidates responds to my messages through Hiring Thing.

Sometimes after adding a new applicant, it can take up to 24 hours to search for that applicant, and I wish it could be more immediate.

Ease of use.  For example setting up email or my funnel.  Also resume parsing saves alot of time.

I do wish the Indeed integration allowed me to switch to the "previous method" of sponsored listings.  It only allows for the new way and my company ops to use the old way of paying for sponsored listings.

My company didn't have an ATS when I was hired.  So HiringThing is the centerpiece of the recruiting process.  No more tracking through emails and losing candidates.  Also the founders can login and see my process with "C" level candidates.

I love that you can integrate your HiringThing page directly to your company's website, and that all communication from application to hire can be done within the software!

The job posting sites can be a little limiting as times, especially when needing an "automatic post" to some niche job sites.

We have enjoyed being able to bring recruiters, hiring managers, and applicants into the process with HiringThing - and keeping all communications and notes in a single system.

Market changes so quickly.  Advertising effectiveness has wanned with monopolies like Indeed becoming exclusionary.

Solid ATS capability.  Recently included more value add that used to cost extra.

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

It's not a complicated applicant tracking system, so it's pretty easy to set up on your own and use without extensive training. HiringThing does a great job of keeping track of applicants, tagging, searching across all job postings, saves message templates, and has basic reporting. HiringThing can post your jobs to multiple sites including the major ones like LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc. I like the Review feature which allows each reviewer to add their own star rating and notes, making it easy for groups to review applicants together. There are some basic customization options (like color, logo, etc) but nothing intense, which I think makes it really easy to get started fast. Overall, it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles but that's ok!

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

The scheduling feature is not very useful. You'll still need to use another calendar/scheduling system, especially for multi-person/panel interviews. No integration with Microsoft Teams. You won't be able to auto post to smaller/more niche job posting sites, so if there are sites that are specific to your industry/geography, you'll need to post there on your own. It would be nice to have reminders/auto notifcations abotu candidates

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

I like the ease of usage. The learning curve is not at all too steep, and it is Very user intuitive! A few training sessions is all new users will need! Additionally, the Dashboard is on your landing page & can be found extremely quickly. It provides the most up to date information on your reqs and candidate activity. You can separate between new and existing candidates, and you can rate them with a helpful star system! Users can rank from zero stars to five stars in a very easy to read system. From there, all ratings and candidates can be shared among recruiters and managers of the reqs. Also, you can email candidates directly from the applied reqs. This is a big help! This allows you and all users to centralize all communication with candidates strictly and exclusively in the tool. This removes the need of using external emails and allows for all users to be on the same page at all times and reduce redundancy.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

In certain instances, the tool feels a little too simplistic. It can feel a bit sparse & could use a look upgrade. Updating the look will speak more to HiringThing's branding, and will make it far easier to identify and separate from other Applicant Tracking Systems. Also, it can be a little difficult navigating how to properly customize specific questions and attributes to be added to applications. If it was easier to facilitate making those much needed changes and customizations, it would make the tool even better. The tool also has one other option I would like to see improved. When reviewing your dashboard, you will be brought directly to your req volume & current open req volume. In the tool and for each req, the system automatically defaults to display "new" applications and applicants only. This can be sometimes very confusing if you are looking to build a talent pool or may be moving quickly. It has its good to it, and also its bad as does everything else, but this is unfortunate sometimes, and can also sometimes lead to losing candidates. It is strictly a style preference and should be addressed carefully.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the best attributes of the tool is it quickly shows the candidate's source. It allows you to built useful metrics that will help you identify target audiences. There were times where we were posting our roles with boards that were not yielding us enough candidates or yeidling us quality candidates, and we were unable to properly separate the helpful, successful boards from the boards that were unsuccessful and not providing us enough great candidates. Through HiringThing, we are now able to much, much better identify the sources and boards that provide better quality candidates! Another problem that we are solving through HiringThing is the ease of scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates! I have been able to customize messages through the tool, create very helpful message templates, save the templates in the tool, and also share the message templates with other members of my organization - all through the tool!

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

Many things! This is my third ATS. It's intuitive and easy to figure out without a lot of training, tutorials, or other time-consuming processes. And yet, it does more than systems that appear to be more complex. You can keep this as simple or make it as complex as you want. This is seriously what you wish an ATS was! On top of all that - you can make it really look like your employment brand - not something that looks like other ATS company or even a co-brand. It looks like your organization. Even the URL!

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

Zero. I am one happy customer. Anything I think they could add they do before I ask. Continual improvement on an already great product.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems. On things that I haven't understood - which is rare because it is so straightforward - their support team is really quick to answer. I was used to waiting a few days with prior ATS companies.

Benefits - efficiency, clear employment brand, and their free job posting brings in way more candidates than other ATS solutions. I always sponsor jobs on Indeed... it's just all these other sites they blast job postings out to. It works great.

**What do you like best about HiringThing?**

The constant development of new and exciting features, the seamless integration with our HRIS system, and the fast responses by the HiringThing team make this a fantastic product and vendor. Ciara and Jennifer are two of the best partners I could ask to have work with me.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

I don't have too many dislikes about the system as a whole. Maybe adding a video interview feature or live texting would be a valuable feature to have.

Feel free to ask their support team any questions, and don't be afraid to utilize their Help section. Many of the questions and issues you might have can be solved using this helpful feature.

The interface is straightforward to use, with lots of tips and help documentation if needed.  They have thought of everything related to recruiting and applicant tracking and have included it in their application.  Their support/success team is also very responsive and fun to work with.

I can't think of anything that I dislike about HiringThing.

Finding a complete ATS solution to integrate with our HR software is the problem we had to solve before working with Hiring Thing.  Once we found HiringThing, it didn't take very long to have their solution working seamlessly with ours.

HiringThing is always open to feedback and suggestions from clients.  There are ideas that we have or clients have and they always approach it with a can do attitude.  They are also always available, just a phone call, email or slack message away.

We had a few bumps along the way with additional third-party integrations, but we worked through them with the help and support of our dedicated team

The interface is very simple, clean, and easy to use. It has all the necessary basics for a small company.

They are definitely going through some growing pains. There are functions that are not yet working the way that they should and sometimes it takes their support team quite a while to circle back around with an actual solution to the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering HiringThing:**

It's a great system if you're relatively small and have the patience for some technical difficulties. If you're doing a very high volume of recruiting and don't have time to wait for pieces to get ironed out here and there, this might not be for you just yet.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring Thing has made our resumes more searchable. We are able to categorize candidates and mark future potentials as such. It's also made the entire process more accessible for our management team and the more digital for our recruiter. Having the templates and workflows set, and e-signature features saves our recruiter tons of time.

Easy to use intuitive interface makes it easy to manage multiple job postings.

**What do you dislike about HiringThing?**

Sometimes can be tricky to see all applicants at a glance if you have 100+ because you need to scroll through so many pages.

**What problems is HiringThing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to aggregate, manage, sort and filter candidate applications in an easily sharable system between hiring managers and potential supervisors.
