Happenstance Reviews & Product Details

Happenstance is an AI-powered network search platform that helps individuals and teams find the right people and warm introduction paths for sales, recruiting, fundraising, investing, and job seeking. Describe who you need in plain English, then search the people you know and the networks shared by your friends, colleagues, and communities. How does Happenstance work? Connect accounts such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, LinkedIn, Outlook, Twitter, Instagram, and Apple Contacts to build a searchable map of your relationships. Add friends or join groups to discover relevant people through shared networks. Happenstance identifies mutual connections and ranks relationships to help you find someone who can make an introduction. What can you do with Happenstance? • Sales and business development: find decision-makers at target accounts and identify warm paths through teammates, investors, and advisors. • Recruiting and hiring: describe a role or share a careers page, find relevant candidates, research their backgrounds, and draft introduction requests. • Fundraising and investing: discover relevant investors, founders, and potential opportunities through your network. • Job seeking: find people at target companies and connections who may be able to offer advice or a referral. • Teams and communities: make members' shared networks searchable through groups. Happenstance Chat can work from a goal, run multiple searches, refine results, research people on the web, and draft outreach for you to review. Developers can access network search through the API, MCP, and CLI, including workflows in ChatGPT and Claude. Is Happenstance free? The Free plan includes Happenstance Chat with usage limits, unlimited connected accounts, and unlimited friends and groups. Pro adds higher Chat limits and CSV export. Team provides centralized billing and seat management. API and MCP usage use separate credits. How is network data protected? Happenstance does not collect email or direct-message content or attachments, and network data is never used to train AI models. Users control network sharing with accepted friends and joined groups. Public profiles display a constellation of named connections by default; users can turn this off. Happenstance is SOC 2 compliant, with its report available through its Trust Center.
