I don't like the stark look of the November 2021 redesign, the old one was softer and filled out, and less harsh on the eyes. The new one seems too graffiti and Andy Warhol-like.

As in, you can continue selling and technically pay no more fees to Paykickstart on their Starter tier, up to $10k/mth, while you still have to pay that 10% to Gumroad.

With Gumroad I've been able to "set it and forget it." The interaction was very easy to navigate--I posted my books, set the price, and sent out a link to customers.
