While Guidewire InsuranceSuite is a robust and well-architected platform, one area that could be improved is the BBG solutions and related support. These components sometimes face performance and scalability challenges, especially under high transaction loads or complex document workflows.

Additionally, Guidewire support for BBG-related issues can be slow to resolve, as tickets often require multiple handoffs between teams before a root cause is identified. 1. Integration with other legacy systems can be challenging. As an insurance company like CNA, we have numerous custom implementations, and the volume of data exchanged over APIs is significant. When we encounter performance issues, it is difficult to fine-tune and resolve problems within IG apps.

The least appealing portion of the InsuranceSuite is that some of the administration and configuration formerly handled by Guidewire as part of the SAAS subscription have been pushed back to us, the customer, requiring our team to have need of an administration specialist to manage these changes.
