We've others like scribe and guidde - but they come with their limitations and frustrations. Usually around being stuck using their hosting, or limited with a UI that feels dated. Then along comes Guideless. Stupidly simple to record and click through a workflow, looks absolutely beautiful, the AI generated text nails it nearly every time, and if it doesn't its super easy to edit - the voiceovers are amazing too, and the whole process is just so damn easy. I went from doing 1 or 2 onboarding videos a day with screenshare and recording tools, to recording and launch 9 videos just this afternoon! Not only that but so far the support has been outstanding. Open to feedback and easy to speak to. I highly recommend this product and wish them all the best! **What do you dislike about Guideless?** Its new, so its basic - but that basic functionality is awesome, and actually refreshing. It’s simple, fast, and fun to use. **What do you dislike about Guideless?** The product is evolving quickly, so there are a few features I'd love to see added over time, like the ability to highlight specific parts of the screen during a recording. The browser extension for capturing video events is excellent and super intuitive. It allows me to capture anything on any tab in my browser and generates the full first pass of the video, which I appreciate a lot. The ability to edit each step independently and change the text and regenerate the voice afterwards adds flexibility. I love being able to choose from a range of natural-sounding voices for the AI-generated voiceover. The ease of changing background, borders, and fully generating an AI voiceover saves tons of time. The setup was very easy, just create an account, install the extension, and I was good to go. I also appreciate the responsiveness of the team when I reported an issue; they fixed it promptly. **What do you dislike about Guideless?** I accidentally blew away the first recording by pressing a wrong button the first try without any warning it discarded the video. I've reported this issue, and the team looking after it was very responsive and fixed this issue promptly. I think more variation in the generated script would be good. At some point my video got into a loop of saying click here, now click here, then click here, but that's easily fixed by overriding afterwards, but having a better first pass would save even more time. **What problems is Guideless solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Guideless to create explainer videos quickly, capturing mouse events effortlessly without video editing.
