**What do you like best about Slate?**

I use Slate for competitor and market intelligence, and I really love how it boosts our productivity. We can work around R&D at 5-6 times faster rate, which means we finish what usually takes a week in just one day. The external intelligence they provide is extremely insightful, covering topics like innovation and market signals that our team might have overlooked. We previously used PatSnap but shifted to Slate because it has a really strong R&D discovery layer and competitor or market intelligence. Slate's setup was super simple, taking only about 30 minutes to an hour. Also, when comparing the market reports with other tools, Slate provides more in-depth signals. On top of that, I'd give Slate a perfect 10 out of 10, and if it were possible for the radar feature, I'd give it 100 out of 10!

**What do you dislike about Slate?**

They can improve on collaboration of teams. Right now it's more on external market intel, white space identification, R&D discovery and synthesis, but less around team collaboration. For now, they only have PPT and report making. Hopefully, they would be working on it eventually.

**What problems is Slate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slate boosts productivity, enabling my team to complete a week's work in a day with insightful market intelligence. However, it lacks strong team collaboration features.

**What do you like best about Slate?**

GeryB Slate give access to a wide range  of databases and has the expertise to sift through the results, finding the gems.

**What do you dislike about Slate?**

Sometimes the links do not work cleanly, however these are quickly sorted.

**What problems is Slate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Searching for technology options for a potential new process. Speeds up the project timelime. Allows us to work on other parts of the project in parallel
