"Fast, Accurate, and Developer-Friendly AI Patent Search"
What do you like best about PQAI?

PQAI’s semantic search engine is a game changer for prior-art discovery. You can describe your invention in plain language and get back highly relevant patent results in seconds. As someone who works with APIs, I particularly appreciate how clean and well-documented their endpoints are. It integrates effortlessly into internal tools, allowing my team to assess patentability mid-stream without context switching to a third-party platform. Response times are snappy, and the CPC classifier suggestions help widen the net intelligently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

Browser-stored results are great for privacy, but sometimes inconvenient when working across devices. Also, while the UI is clean, the site could benefit from a few UX enhancements such as saving recent queries or result history (opt-in). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A must-have tool for patent searches. Smart, fast, and open source."
What do you like best about PQAI?

PQAI makes prior art search intuitive and fast. Its natural language processing allows me to input plain English queries and instantly receive highly relevant patent documents, publications, and prior art from both U.S. and international databases. What stand out was the open-source nature and easy API integration. I was able to incorporate PQAI results into our tool with minimal effort. Compared to other tools, even some paid ones, PQAI is a so much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

Nothing to be disliked but I guess user interface can be more refined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finding Needle in the Haystack Made Easier - Patent Search"
What do you like best about PQAI?

I had used PQAI in the capacity of free lance patent searcher. I like it mainly for the following two reasons:

Ease of Use - Whether brainstorming over an idea or looking for a patent on existent technology to invalidate something, the ability to write our query in plain English is incredible.

Relevance of Search Results - With Boolean searches our searches are restricted to our creativity, however with AI's ability to understand the context of our search and bringing us highly relevant results is commendable.

While it does have paid tier and API for sale, the free version is greatly empowering for solo inventors and startups with tight budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

Nothing on my mind to call out at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Fastest Way to Surface Relevant Patents and Prior Art"
What do you like best about PQAI?

PQAI consistently delivers highly relevant patent results, even for nuanced or complex queries. The semantic search means I don’t have to be a Boolean logic expert to get precise hits. It's like just enter a technical description and PQAI does the rest. The ability to instantly filter and rank by relevance saves hours every week, and the bulk analysis features are a huge plus for large portfolios. The API is straightforward, letting us automate search and integrate with our internal tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

While PQAI’s relevance ranking is top-notch, the user interface could be more polished for power users especially when exporting bulk results. Sometimes the learning curve for API integration is a bit steep for non-developers. More tutorials and use-case examples would help onboard new users faster. There’s also room for additional analytics and visualizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Transparent Prior Art Search PQAI Saves Hours of Manual Work"
What do you like best about PQAI?

PQAI makes prior art search feel less like guesswork. You just describe your idea in plain English, and it pulls up relevant patents without needing to know complex search syntax. The interface is clean, and I really like the keyword highlight and similarity ranking. It gives you confidence in what you're reviewing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

Not much to dislike. It’s not meant to replace a full legal analysis, but as a first-pass tool to explore patentability, it’s incredibly useful. More filtering options or export features might be nice in future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Free, Open‑Source Patent Search That Actually Works – A Game Changer"
What do you like best about PQAI?

PQAI’s natural‑language search interface lets me type in an idea, no Boolean gymnastics required and it finds relevant patents and research papers instantly. It’s a refreshing departure from traditional keyword-heavy tools

It’s completely free and open-source, backed by major partners like AT&T and the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance, with no tracking of queries, perfect for privacy‑conscious users

The built-in CPC/IPC lookup, art‑unit predictor, and concept extractor are surprisingly powerful and help refine searches with few clicks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

There’s not much to truly dislike, it’s impressive for a free, open-source tool. That said, expanding the search coverage beyond U.S. patents and adding global data would make it even more versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A smart tool for prior art searxh"
What do you like best about PQAI?

I like how intuitive it is. I can simply type in my idea in plain English, it still gives the most relevant patent results. It saves me hours struggling with keyword combinations and complex searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

It can still give a bit more context and explanation around why a result is considered relevant but overall the AI is seriously impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforming Prior Art Search with AI and Accessibility"
What do you like best about PQAI?

The best thing is how accessible and intelligent it makes prior art search. I can enter a natural language description of my invention and instantly see relevant patents and research papers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PQAI?

While the interface is clean, it could feel a little basic for users coming from premium commercial tools. But for a free and open source tool, this is a very minor thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
