Grata Intelligence Reviews & Product Details

I really enjoyed the thorough curriculum and extensive learning opportunity provided by the Grata team. I have enjoyed using the software since then and have found it be very useful through many aspects of my university career. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There honestly isn't much to dislike! I love the software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to filter prospects using the many available filters on Grata allows me to be incredibly granular with information from a variety of sources.

It is almost always the final step for data export for my analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be hard to learn, and some of the features are hidden/hard to find, but are some of the most important (like setting default filters).

Making these more front and center will help new users + improve ease of use for existing ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grata emulates how we function. We seek to engage clients that align well with our firm, and Grata is excellent at capturing complete and accurate information for us to evaluate potential fit. And it's great that Grata covers conferences since we attend so many; we like to curate a list for meeting interesting companies before attending and Grata is a great tool for this. We're not seeing many drawbacks with Grata. We like that they are integrating capabilities to manage pipeline and track companies, and we are excited to see further development in this area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grata has been an essential tool for our firm. We use it daily and have not come across another tool as powerful and search capabilities (google on steroids). The scraping tool and similar companies function is by far the best on the market. The team is always open to feedback and we are in continuous contact with them on how we utilize the platform. Katerina has been extremely helpful and quick to respond when we have questions. The platform is intuitive, self-serviceable, always improving, easy to navigate and able to narrow targeted searches. We have used other platforms in the past but nothing compares to Grata. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only function that we see could improve is increased visibility to investment companies (PE, Public companies, VC, etc) and their portfolios showing where they have been acquisitive. Other than that we have no complaints and will continue utilizing the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The database is massive, and has ALL of the information that we need for lead generation. The search functionality is top class, second to none. You can get very creative with it. Conference and list features are also cool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the team can do a better job of the Salesforce integration. Sometimes there's records that Grata says are not in our database, but in reality they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grata's user interface is best-in-class. Their team is proactive and easy to work with, and the data quality is superior to that of many competitors. The filters in the search tool are easily manipulable and can get appropriately granular. Grata regularly releases new and useful features. I would recommend Grata over SourceScrub or Udu to anyone except my competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The similar companies search feature isn't yet smart enough to be truly useful and critical pieces of data, like ownership, are occasionally incorrect. 90-95% of the time, Grata's data is accurate, but the nature of our business means that acting on an incorrect piece can mean a lost deal, so I have to verify manually. I love the functionality of the software and attentiveness to customer concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike how Grata does not allow for one easy way to access company sources like Sourcescrub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grata has an easy to use interface and allows me to quickly find relevant data on companies that I am researching. They added a Google extension button which is an easy way to get a quick snapshot of a firm when I am browsing a company's website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The revenue data feature is currently in beta testing. I have found it to be fairly inaccurate at times. However, they are continually adding features and simplifying the interface that should all improve over time. Pricing has increased every year - this will need to stabilize to sustain customers. - Best for identifying new leads

- Strong ability to find similar companies to something in existing portfolio

- Data is generally accurate vs. competitors

- Support response time is quick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Don't source lists automatically like sourcescrub (e.g., had to ask for Inc.5000)

- Chrome extension when on a company website doesn't always list the amount of capital raised (SS does) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been with grata since they were ~15 employees, and it has been great to see their growth and improvement of the platform. The depth of the database is incredible, and I love being able to find "similar" companies with ease. This quick search ability helps with market mapping and understanding industry landscapes in a timely manner. I am excited to see the continued growth of the business. I wish there were more tangible financial data points for public companies, similar to CapIQ / Pitchbook. I think they could also improve the platform by attaching relevant news / articles to the company pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
