Grand Avenue Software has provided our clients with an affordable, easy-to-use, out-of-the-box solution for their eQMS needs. It helps ensure QMS compliance, supports and streamlines process workflows, and minimizes the resources required to maintain and continually improve their Quality Management Systems. On the few occasions when our clients have pointed out minor areas where the software could perform better, we’ve simply submitted feature requests to the support team at Grand Avenue Software. Those requests were added to a list of enhancements to be considered for future releases. The workflows are easy to follow, which is especially helpful for organizations implementing an eQMS for the first time. Implementation is straightforward, and adoption tends to be fairly quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I’d really like to see is support for multisite installations where the information is truly site-specific, and coordinators receive only the tasks for their own site. Right now, the only way I’ve found to manage this is by creating site-level nomenclature—for example, using document types with prefixes that identify a document’s site. In practice, though, those prefixes end up being treated like additional document types rather than providing real, facility-specific separation. As a result, admin tasks still get sent to all coordinators, and they have to manually sift through the full pool of tasks to figure out what actually applies to them. Grand Avenue is a fantastic system for a lot of reasons, but the things that our organization valued the most were:

1. Ease of adoption: a wide range of users with differing levels of experience with quality systems could understand and appreciate the system pretty quickly without a lot of hand holding

2. Low resource burden: our team was able to manage the entire system with 1-2 admins/coordinators, neither of which needed to be full-time devoted to GAS

3. Ease of configuration: system functionality is intuitive and release notes for upgrades are written in a way that you can actually understand what is changing and how it impacts your system so that you can make informed decisions about how/if you want to implement the change Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not a lot to be perfectly honest, but the trending/dashboarding functionality is probably what we had the most trouble with. They've made major changes recently that have improved it quite a lot and you can always get your data out very easily if you have dashboards that you create outside of the system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Grand Avenue Software easy to use and set up. Its flexible pricing model makes it very adaptable as you add more users, allowing a team to grow without constantly worrying about increasing costs. It's great to be able to include consultants seamlessly. The product is also described as a great product at a fair price. When compared to other electronic quality management systems, Grand Avenue is just as functional but easier to use, which helps my team do a good job. Their service is great, with intuitive setup and helpful instructions, which also makes the product very configurable. When I use Grand Avenue Software, I notice that it's not as fancy-looking as some of the other tools out there. But it does the work I need it to do and is very easy to use, so it more than makes up for the less fancy appearance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When submitting a document change request, it would be helpful to be able to upload a batch of document attachments all at once, instead of having to upload each attachment individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inability to add additional security features to Doc Control like watermarking or removing access to the edited version of the released document.
