## Grammarly Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive and Enhances Writing Skills with Minor Login Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maryellen P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for everything I do on the computer, for both home and work. I like how it's easy to use and right on my keypad, giving me quick access. I appreciate having access to editing with AI, which helps me find the tone of my writing if I need to adjust it. I think it also gives me the option to improve my writing skills and helps with the tone for correspondence. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, which I found convenient.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Logging in and username and password issues. Even today, I had a problem with it. It wanted something from me, and now I can't get back in, and I have to start all over again.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps improve my writing skills and adjust the tone for correspondence, making it easy to use as it integrates seamlessly with my keyboard.

 ### 2. Instant, Clearer Writing Across Apps—Grammarly Boosts My Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar K. | SEO Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is that it catches mistakes instantly as I’m typing, so I don’t have to go back later and fix things. It also suggests simpler, clearer ways to say what I mean, which makes writing feel easier and more natural. I especially find the tone hints helpful when I’m not sure how my message might come across to someone else. Another plus is that it works across many apps, so I don’t have to copy and paste my text between places. Overall, it helps me write with more confidence without slowing me down.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that it sometimes suggests edits that make my sentences sound less natural or overly stiff. It also doesn’t always catch the full context, so even a sentence that’s already correct can still get flagged.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me fix spelling and grammar mistakes and makes my sentences clearer before I send or submit anything. That saves me time and helps me avoid the embarrassment of simple errors. It also helps me express my ideas more clearly, so people understand what I mean. In fact, I’m writing this review with the help of Grammarly.

 ### 3. Great for quick grammar checks and clarity improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishaka C. | Web Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Another thing I like is how well Grammarly integrates with different platforms I use daily. Whether it’s browser-based work or writing in the Windows app, it feels consistent and easy to access everywhere.

In terms of performance, it’s generally fast and works in real time without slowing things down. I rarely notice any delay, even when working on longer content.

The free version itself is quite useful for basic writing needs, though some advanced features are part of the premium plan. For regular users, it still offers good value.

I didn’t need much onboarding since it’s very straightforward to use, but the suggestions and guidance make it easy to understand and improve over time.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that sometimes the suggestions can feel a bit too aggressive, especially when it comes to tone or rewriting sentences. There are times when the original sentence is already fine, but it still suggests changes that don’t really match what I want to say.

I’ve also noticed that the desktop app can occasionally slow down a bit when working on longer documents. It’s not a major issue, but it can be slightly distracting.

Another limitation is that some of the more useful features are only available in the premium version, which might not be ideal for everyone. The free version works well for basic needs, but you do feel the restrictions after a point.

Overall, these are minor issues, and they don’t take away much from the overall usefulness of the tool.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Grammarly, I used to spend a lot of time re-reading my content to check for grammar mistakes or awkward sentences, especially while writing emails or professional messages. Even then, I wasn’t always confident that everything sounded clear or polished.

Grammarly has really simplified that process for me. It automatically catches errors and suggests better ways to phrase sentences in real time, which makes my writing more clear and professional without extra effort. I’ve noticed that I don’t have to double-check things as much as before, which saves time during my daily work.

It’s also helpful for improving overall communication. Whether I’m writing something short like a message or working on longer content in the Windows app, the suggestions help me stay more confident about what I’m writing.

Overall, it has reduced the time I spend editing and improved the quality of my writing at the same time.

 ### 4. A Must-Have for Error-Free Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lawrence S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for all my writing, from long-form documents to chat messages and emails. It prevents typos and silly errors like poorly formed sentences and repetitive text. What I like most about Grammarly is that it is non-intrusive and broadly compatible from a platform perspective. Ease of use, of course, is a big plus. I find the grammar correction feature valuable, especially for reducing verbose sentences. Setting it up was very easy, and I regularly use it across MS-Word, Outlook, Gmail, Slack, and Teams.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Absolutely nothing at all! Grammarly is an outstanding product.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to prevent typos and poorly formed sentences from stream of consciousness writing. It's non-intrusive, compatible across platforms, and easy to use. I find grammar correction and reducing verbose sentences particularly valuable.

 ### 5. Unobtrusive Grammar Support with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trisha P. | Academic Developer, Lecturer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly is unobtrusive and hides in the background, helping me identify areas where I can communicate more clearly. It assists quickly in correcting misspellings when I'm typing fast. The clean and easy-to-use interface enhances my user experience. Initial setup was very easy; I just signed in, and it was there, in all my tools, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes I ignore a consistent Grammarly recommendation and I hope Grammarly would learn my writing style from a consistently ignored suggestion. It still doesn't have a 100% grasp of Australian English, which is what I mostly write in, so sometimes the suggestions are not accurate or not useful for me.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me write clearer and ensure my writing is grammatically correct. It offers suggestions for clearer, stronger writing and quickly corrects misspellings. It's unobtrusive, clean, and easy to use.

 ### 6. A lifesaver for professional communication and documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dedit H. | Ruby on Rails Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

My English skills are very poor. I often make typos and write bad grammar. Grammarly can correct typos and grammar in real time. This is very helpful. Its integration with the browser and desktop app is also very seamless. I also use it on my mobile phone.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a very helpful app. But for an advanced result, we should upgrade the subscription to Pro. It is normal; the problem is the price. The prices are too high for me, which might be a bit steep for individual users or freelancers on a budget.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It effectively eliminates the anxiety of communicating in English with my lead / international clients. I feel much more confident in sending my updates, chats, emails, or documentation, knowing the output is polished and free of basic errors. I also use Grammarly to help me write this review.

 ### 7. A reliable tool for improving writing clarity and professionalism

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonam K. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is very easy to use and integrates seamlessly with browsers and tools I use daily. It provides real-time suggestions for grammar, clarity, and tone, which helps me write more professionally and confidently. The interface is clean, and implementation requires minimal setup. I especially like the tone detection and rephrasing suggestions, which improve communication quality significantly.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly suggestions can be overly aggressive and may not fully understand the context, especially in technical writing. A few corrections can slightly change the intended meaning, so manual review is still necessary. Additionally, some advanced features are limited to the premium version, which can feel restrictive for regular users.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me eliminate grammatical errors, improve sentence clarity, and maintain a professional tone in my communication. It saves time when proofreading and lowers the chance of mistakes in emails, documentation, and reports. Overall, it boosts my productivity and helps me communicate more effectively in both professional and personal situations.

 ### 8. Essential Tool for Clear and Professional Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I have had a great experience with Grammarly as a grammar lead. It helps me write more clearly, professionally, and confidently across emails, documents, and everyday communication. The real-time grammar and spelling suggestions save time, while the tone and clarity recommendations help ensure my message comes across the way I intend. Grammarly has become an essential tool in my daily workflow, improving both the quality and efficiency of my writing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to communicate more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think the way Grammarly works within the browser and Windows could be better. A lot of the time, it just leaves it blank and doesn't pick up the right text. Sometimes, it just doesn't do the thing it's supposed to do.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly fixes spelling, grammar, and other errors. It helps me write more clearly, professionally, and confidently across various communications. Its real-time suggestions save time, and tone recommendations ensure my message is conveyed as intended, improving both my writing quality and efficiency.

 ### 9. Crucial Tool for Teachers and Students

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly mainly for paper writing assistance in grad school and as a high school history teacher to review student writing. I find it great for outlining and rewording sentences in my grad school work. As a teacher, it's very helpful in detecting AI use by students. I like how easy it is to upload or copy and paste writing assignments into the 'new document' section, and I appreciate the layout of the doc page with its sidebar options. The Grammarly keyboard is also easy to toggle to on my phone when writing texts or composing emails. Setting up Grammarly was very easy on my Apple devices and work laptop.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I can't really think of anything to improve with Grammarly itself. However, at my school, we use Google tools, and Gemini AI is very effective for detecting AI use by students and doesn't cost anything. So it's more cost-effective. Also, it would be great if Grammarly offered a group or team purchase option for schools, so all the teachers could use it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for grad school to help with outlines and rewording. As a high school teacher, it helps me detect AI use in student work.

 ### 10. Grammarly Makes My Writing Polished, Confident, and Professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Staci R. | Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I’ve been a Grammarly user for at least four years (honestly, I can’t remember a time in my current job when I wasn't using Grammarly). Originally, I relied on it to clean up a sloppily written email or to make a clunky memo clearer and easier to read.

Now, in this AI-driven world, I use it to quickly turn the ideas in my head into writing that is more polished, confident, and professional-sounding, with fewer awkward phrases and distractions. I sound more knowledgeable in fewer words.

I haven’t really tried too many other AI platforms—maybe it’s fear of the unknown—but Grammarly is becoming my right hand (I’m left-handed), and I depend on it for everything I write across the various tools (rental verifications in Rentvine and email templates) and channels I use every day, including AppFolio—our rental management platform for maintenance requests and rent payments—and Google Calendar for scheduling vendors, contractors, moves, and Hospitality Suite reservations.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I can’t figure out how to change the spacing back to a single space between sentences. I’d also like Grammarly to open automatically, but sometimes it doesn’t.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear, concise writing saves me time and helps me sound more professional. I also feel more confident when I send a memo or document that’s been reviewed in Grammarly.

 ### 11. Seamless Typing Support with a Few Quirks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom T. | Manager, Marketing & Member Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly daily for correcting content that I create for my clients, and I like that it serves as a backstop, catching my typing errors, which has been great. I also like the fact that it works everywhere I work. I primarily use Microsoft Office 365, and it's useful that it also works with my clients who use Google, showing up in both places like in my emails and pretty much everywhere I type. It's becoming very pervasive, which is good, and that makes it especially valuable for my work environment.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I get dinged for ignoring punctuation. I often use acronyms or creative words that I use routinely, but I can't add them to Grammarly's dictionary. Occasionally, I can add words, but typically, I cannot, which is frustrating. Additionally, it sometimes becomes difficult to know for sure that it's working inside Word or Google. The little green icon that floats around can sometimes be in the wrong spot and won't let me move it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for correcting content for my clients. It's great for catching my typing errors and handling punctuation when I'm typing quickly. I like that it works everywhere I type, whether it's in Microsoft Office or Google products.

 ### 12. Spell Check on Steroids, Effortlessly Enhances Writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Y. | Lead Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly pretty much when I'm on my laptop, in Word documents, filling out forms online, and in Google Docs. It helps me make coherent sentences, and it's like spell check on steroids, not just for spell check but also for grammar work and making really good suggestions. I feel like I'm a pretty good writer, but often my sentences need improving, and having a writing assistant is nice. The biggest thing for me is getting good, clean documents saying exactly what I want, maybe even a little better. I like when Grammarly provides alternatives for sentences, especially when I'm typing fast. It gives me a better sentence structure, converting passive voice to active voice, which helps a lot. The initial setup was very easy, with no problems at all.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I wish I could move the little 'g' symbol. Sometimes it gets in the way, and you need to be able to put that where you want to.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to ensure I'm making coherent sentences, like spell check on steroids. It helps produce good, clean documents, saying exactly what I wanted, maybe even better, by providing grammar check and sentence improvement suggestions.

 ### 13. Essential Writing Aid for Clarity and Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how easy Grammarly is to use, and it helps me find friendlier ways of saying things, which comes in handy for my emails and follow-up communications. It's really helpful in giving me good structure so I can politely open up conversations. Grammarly assists me with organizing my writing, so people can clearly understand what I'm saying, as I sometimes have issues with sentence structure and consistency due to my dyslexia and waiting diagnosis of autism. It also helps me with mixing up verb endings and refining my long explanations. The initial setup was pretty easy, which was great.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There are times when Grammarly does not match up with Word's spelling. I don't know which is correct and which is false. Grammarly will make me change everything in one way, but then spell check inside Word will find fault with it. There are some issues between Grammarly and Word documents spell check.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for all my writing needs. It helps me organize my sentences and structure, making it easier for people to understand my writing. It also assists with refining sentence structures and making my communication clearer.

 ### 14. A Game-Changer for Grammar and Punctuation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael N. | Post Production Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for all kinds of messages, from work to personal emails, and I pretty much can't live without it. It solves grammar issues for me, which is wonderful because I'm terrible at it, and it has been a game changer. I also have a lot of punctuation and spelling errors because I'm a bad typist, but Grammarly takes that concern away. The software is super functional, easy to use, and presents itself in a very intuitive way. I can do quick, easy brain dumps, and Grammarly helps with that. The way it integrates as a keyboard in Slack or work emails makes it very easy to access, which is what makes it the most valuable to me. The setup was super easy and intuitive, even when I did it a few years ago.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes switching the keyboard to Grammarly is challenging on iOS. If I use any other keyboards, I have to switch back to Grammarly, and it's kind of clunky on the macOS side.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves my grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistakes without me having to think about it. It's a game changer for quick brain dumps and is super functional, easy to use, and accessible.

 ### 15. Essential Tool for Written Communication in English

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilse M. | Becaria, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like the different options Grammarly offers for transforming texts. I can make my writing more persuasive, direct, friendly, or even more empathetic. I also love the ability to adjust the length of the text, making it shorter or longer, and simply improving it. And always, before publishing any text or sending any email (or even this review), I run everything through a final review to ensure everything is well-written, checking the editing suggestions the platform offers me. Additionally, I appreciate that the initial setup was super simple, without any issues, and now I can use Grammarly not only in Google Docs but also in my Gmail and Outlook emails, in Word, on the Kajabi platform, and even on WhatsApp. It helps me a lot to improve my written performance in English, and I use it every day, all the time, because my native language is not English, but Spanish, and this tool helps me have confidence that what I write is well-written. The translation tool is also very useful, and I even use it for writings in Spanish.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Suddenly, your editing suggestions are not so accurate. The option to "sound like the brand" is too friendly, cheerful, and informal; I feel it needs to be adjusted so it's not so exaggerated. When I use this specific feature, I don't use it 100% but rather take the base and build on it. It can happen that the transformation or editing suggestion you propose is not always so exact, so I look at the suggestion and only take the best from it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to communicate correctly in written English; it helps me with grammatical tenses, spelling, and common or slang expressions, and also to paraphrase sentences or paragraphs and make them more effective. It has become an indispensable tool for writing fluently and without errors, mainly in English, although I also use it in Spanish.

 ### 16. Intuitive Writing Assistant with Minor Integration Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annand V. | Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how easy it is to check my work with Grammarly. The ability to check my tone and get suggestions for better sentence structure is really helpful. I also appreciate the little widget that's easy to access on my screen. Using the Grammarly keyboard on my phone makes it convenient to switch and have my tone checked while typing. Plus, it helps me learn more about writing and sentence structure. The initial setup of Grammarly was super easy, which I find really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the Grammarly desktop app doesn't work in Notion as expected. It just needs to be able to detect the text inside of the editor. I feel like what happens is that Notion's own interface might conflict with Grammarly's.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me with chat messages, tweets, Notion documents, and various writing tasks by correcting everything for me. It makes it easy to check my work and suggests better sentence structures, which helps me learn more about writing.

 ### 17. Reliable tool for clear, error-free writing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit C. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is how naturally it improves my writing. It catches mistakes instantly, suggests better wording, and helps with tone, making my content clearer and more professional without much effort.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that it can sometimes over-correct or suggest changes that don’t really fit my tone or intent. Also, many useful features are locked behind the premium version, and occasional false suggestions can be a bit distracting.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps solve the problem of unclear or error-filled communication. It ensures my emails, documents, and messages are grammatically correct, professional, and easy to understand. This saves time on proofreading and reduces the risk of miscommunication, which is especially important when dealing with clients or formal work. It also boosts confidence in my writing and helps me communicate ideas more effectively.

 ### 18. Easy Writing with Flexible English Rules and Helpful AI Checks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayan M. | Marketing Assistant- Technical Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It’s easy to write with, and I like having the option to switch between different geographical English rules. The AI features are useful, and the plagiarism and readability checkers are a helpful addition.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the suggestions aren’t accurate. The AI content checker labels the Grammarly-generated content as AI, which defeats the whole purpose, especially since it specifically says that "it will sound like human content."

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces writing time, helps improve the efficiency and readability of my content pieces, and reduces my dependency on an in-house editor. With Grammarly AI, I can easily draft meeting notes and email responses from absolutely nothing.

 ### 19. Easy, Time-Saving Real-Time Grammar Checks Across Platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shrishal k. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It helps with real-time grammar and spelling checks. It works and integration across various platforms, including browsers, Word, Google Docs, and more. It saves a lot of time, and it’s easy to use thanks to its clean interface.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The premium features are costly, and the context understanding is limited. It also sometimes suggests incorrect words that change the meaning and context of what I’m trying to write.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software is very easy to install and straightforward to implement. I use it daily whenever I’m writing, and it helps me improve my work and make it more impressive. There are a number of useful features, such as spell check, grammar check, and rewriting options for more professional writing in various tones. It’s also easy to integrate with platforms like Word, Google Docs, and browsers. Customer support is very good as well, with prompt responses and helpful assistance to resolve issues.

 ### 20. Grammarly's AI Ideas Panel Turned My Cookie Company Description from Okay to Much More Engaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The AI-powered improvement suggestions are really useful. In this document about Kevin Cookie Company, it gave me three practical ideas like adding sensory details (smell, texture, taste) and including a stronger call to action with a discount. The 94 overall score and 99% plagiarism check give me instant confidence. I also like how it explains why a change would helps and lets me insert suggestions with one click.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the free version feels limited when I want more advanced tone or style customizations. The side panel can get overwhelming if there are many suggestions at once. It occasionally suggests changes that sound too formal for casual product descriptions.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often struggle to make my product descriptions sound natural and persuasive without sounding salesy or boring. ### 21. Streamlined Editing with Quick Fixes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nimrod Isaac B. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly mainly to check my writing for grammar, spelling, and clarity, helping my message sound more polished and professional. I like the easy experience it offers. It's bold, suggests quick fixes, and provides a variety of analysis tools. I appreciate how it signs mistakes for better writing, allowing me to hover and fix them. I also utilize it to analyze a resume and create a new document structure. Discovering more tools on the Grammarly website has been an added benefit, and the initial setup was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I find the lack of Hebrew native support a bit limiting. It would be really helpful if it could translate immediately from Hebrew and support right-to-left (RTL) text.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to check my writing for grammar, spelling, and clarity, making my message sound polished and professional. It catches grammar mistakes and offers suggestions for quick fixes.

 ### 22. Grammarly Catches My Missed Words or Incorrect Words

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David J. | Salesforce Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has helped me notice when I am typing too fast and leaving out words, or when I have spelled a word correctly but not the one I intended.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the advice it gives changes the tone or the actual meaning of the message completely. Depending on whether you are switching from writing work emails to writing blog posts, the system may highlight your words, even though they are right, but different than the set rules for business emails. Instead of making me turn off Grammarly for creative writing, perhaps have a setting that says I am stepping outside the set rules intentionally.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly is helping us make our communications both internally and externally coherrent and with the same overall tone and feel.

 ### 23. A Writing Must-Have for Non-Native English Speakers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura B. | Digital and Performance Marketing , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how it catches my mistakes and helps me improve my writing skills. It also suggests better ways to structure my sentences, and as a non-native English speaker, it’s especially useful when I’m communicating and want to double-check my grammar.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it underlines sentences that aren’t actually wrong. It would be helpful if it could learn words that are intentionally written “wrong,” like certain product names where the spelling is deliberately missing a letter. Also, many features are locked behind the paid version, so the free one ends up feeling pretty limited.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me structure my sentences so they sound clearer and are easier to understand. It also fixes grammar mistakes and gives me more confidence when I communicate.

 ### 24. My Daily Go-To for Catching Grammar Mistakes in User Stories

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal H. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is my daily solution for the grammar mistakes I make while writing user stories for my developers. The floating widget shows how many mistakes are in the story and helps me correct them.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

When I’m writing long paragraphs, it sometimes takes a while for the suggestions to appear, and I think this could be improved.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, I was writing user stories without Grammarly, and they had many spelling mistakes in them. I started using Grammarly after listening to my friends’ suggestions, and from then on, my life has changed. I write large user stories daily, and spelling/typo mistakes could have cost a lot in my projects over time—in money, time, and resources. But now, with Grammarly’s simple floating widget, everything is solved. It helps a lot in day-to-day writing work by catching spelling mistakes and typos. There are no more doubts and queries from my developers due to spelling mistakes.

 ### 25. Great UI and Auto-Correction That Makes Reframing Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Namrata M. | Program Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The user interface is good. I like the auto-correction and how it allows me to reframe my text. Sometimes Grammarly has issues opening, but 99% of the time it starts up perfectly well. Price point is also not that bad, though i spend those 200 bucks from my pocket, I feel it worth.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Nothing as such. Other than issues when I start my system.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly improves the quality and clarity of my writing by catching errors, suggesting better phrasing, and helping me maintain a professional tone. It saves time, reduces back‑and‑forth edits, and ensures my communication is polished and consistent.

 ### 26. Real-Time Tone Adaptation That Makes Technical Writing Clear and Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan K. | Project Manager, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What stands out most to me about Grammarly is how it adapts tone in real time, especially in Gmail threads with researchers and external partners. I can take a dense, technical update (for example, on mariculture permitting or hatchery outputs) and quickly shift it into a more accessible version for non-technical stakeholders without having to rewrite everything from scratch; the suggestions refresh almost instantly as I edit. I’ve been using it daily for about eight months, mainly in Chrome and Edge, and the interface felt intuitive from day one. In regular use, it does a good job picking up context, catching things like subject–verb agreement in long sentences and flagging vague phrasing in project summaries. The AI rewrite tool is practical, I’ll highlight a paragraph in a proposal draft and cycle through a few alternatives until one matches the tone I need. I also use the similarity checker before sharing external-facing documents. Overall, it feels like an always-on editor that stays out of the way.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

With very long documents—like 40-page grant proposals or technical reports—I do notice CPU spikes that lead to lag. This is especially noticeable when I have multiple tabs open alongside Excel models and email, since it can slow down scrolling and make editing feel less responsive. Also, when I’ve reached out to support, the replies have sometimes felt generic rather than tailored to the specific issue I was dealing with.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Grammarly, translating technical language for different audiences (faculty, industry partners, policymakers) took multiple back-and-forth revisions and slowed approvals. Now we can simplify dense sections earlier, and I’d estimate revisions are down by about 30 percent in proposals and reports. It’s also reduced repetitive line edits, what used to take several passes is often handled in one review. Day to day, I rely on the rewrite suggestions to respond to emails and finalize reports faster, with clearer structure, which has helped keep projects moving.

 ### 27. Enhances Writing Tone, Needs Screen Sharing Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really like that Grammarly can change the tone of my emails and give me suggestions. If I want to change anything, I can click on it and make adjustments. It's also very easy to add it to my computer for my use.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I haven't looked into this too much, but sometimes, it will show up on calls when I'm sharing my screens and things like that. I wish that there was a way to turn it off when it is on calls because the company that I work for is a SaaS company, so sometimes people will think that Grammarly is part of our subscription when it is not.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct errors and issues. It also helps me adjust the tone of my emails and provides suggestions, making it easy to make changes.

 ### 28. Helpful Tool for Doctors and Content Creators

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh J. | Consultant Gynecologist and Medical Educator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is that it’s very simple to use and fits perfectly into my daily work. I work as a gynecologist and also write health related blogs and articles, so I do a lot of writing every day. Grammarly helps me make my reports, patient messages, and online content clear, professional, and easy to read. It quickly corrects grammar, spelling, and tone mistakes, which saves me time when I’m busy with patients or writing articles.

I also like how easy it was to set up. I didn’t need any help or training , it worked right away with my browser, email, and Word documents. That made the implementation part very smooth and stress free. Now I use it several times a day without even thinking about it.

The tone suggestions are also very helpful. They make my writing sound polite and empathetic, which is important when I’m communicating with patients or writing about sensitive health topics.

Overall, Grammarly is a very reliable tool for my work. It saves time, improves the quality of my writing, and helps me communicate clearly both in my clinic and online work.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I dislike about Grammarly is that it sometimes doesn’t recognize medical terms or abbreviations correctly, which can slow me down when I’m writing reports or patient notes. A few of the suggestions can also make the writing sound too formal, especially when I want a simple and friendly tone for patients. I stay careful not to include any patient details because of privacy concerns. Sometimes it also takes a little longer to load when working on big documents, but that’s rare. Overall, these are small issues compared to the help it provides every day.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me communicate more clearly and professionally in my daily work. As a gynecologist, I write patient notes, reports, and emails that need to be accurate and easy to understand. It corrects grammar and spelling errors quickly, saving me time when I’m busy with consultations. The tone suggestions help me keep my writing polite and empathetic, which is important when dealing with patients or sensitive topics. As a content creator, it also helps me write clear and engaging articles about women’s health. Overall, it saves time, reduces small mistakes, and improves the quality of my communication both in the clinic and online.

Grammerly is awesome what i disclike is the small icon of grammerly popping up when i write something on the copy

 ### 30. Accurate Suggestions That Save Time Every Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arijit G. | QA Analytics, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is how much time it saves while improving the overall quality of my writing. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making it simple to use across different platforms. The browser and document integrations work smoothly, allowing me to get writing assistance wherever I work.

Grammarly’s suggestions for grammar, spelling, clarity, and tone are usually accurate and helpful, helping me communicate more professionally and effectively. The AI writing features are particularly useful for refining content, rephrasing sentences, and improving readability without changing the original meaning.

Performance has been reliable, with real-time feedback that speeds up the editing process. From a value perspective, it reduces the time spent proofreading and helps avoid mistakes that could affect professional communication. Overall, Grammarly has become an essential tool in my daily workflow, making writing faster, clearer, and more confident.
Customer support and onboarding are also helpful, with clear guidance and resources that make it easier to start using Grammarly and understand its features quickly.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a very useful tool overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Sometimes the AI suggestions can be overly aggressive and may change the original tone or intent of the content, requiring manual review. The premium pricing can feel expensive for individual users or small teams, especially when compared to some newer alternatives. In longer documents, performance occasionally slows down, and certain suggestions can be repetitive. While the integrations work well in most cases, there are still some platforms where the editing experience is not as seamless. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more customization options so users can better control writing preferences and suggestion styles. Despite these minor issues, Grammarly remains a valuable tool for improving writing quality and productivity.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Grammarly, a significant amount of time was spent manually proofreading emails, documents, reports, and client communications. Small grammar mistakes, unclear wording, and inconsistent tone could sometimes affect the quality of communication.

Grammarly helps solve these challenges by providing real-time grammar, spelling, clarity, and tone suggestions across multiple platforms. It improves the quality and professionalism of written content while reducing the time required for editing and review.

The AI-powered recommendations also help create clearer and more effective messages, making communication more confident and consistent. As a result, productivity has improved, less time is spent on proofreading, and overall communication quality has become more professional across the organization.

 ### 31. Essential Writing Assistant with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to check my grammar and spelling for all the documents I make, whether for business or personal projects. Grammarly helps me fix fine points that I might miss, like where a comma needs to go or when I say too much. It also makes my writing more concise and structured. The setup was fairly easy, and the settings allow for easy adjustments. It integrates well with tools I use, like Google Docs, improving my writing and helping me fine-tune my language.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think sometimes Grammarly puts too many commas in my work, and I don't like that so much. And sometimes, the language or the settings don't actually reflect what I'm writing and what kind of material I'm writing in.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me fix the fine points I miss, like spelling errors or misplaced commas, and makes my writing more concise and well-structured.

 ### 32. Effortless Grammar Perfection with Top Accuracy

**Reviewed by:** Windy O. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for several tasks as an English major, mainly for checking grammar and sometimes for AI similarity checks on my work. Grammarly is really helpful in correcting my mistakes when I write long essays and make revisions for my thesis. I find it very convenient because it quickly suggests the correct words to use, making things faster. I definitely like their grammar checker and believe it's the best among online grammar checkers. Grammarly's grammar checker works well with Turnitin's similarity checker, which is often used by university students here in the Philippines. For me, the initial setup was very easy as the instructions are clear.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think it would be really nice if Grammarly could improve their AI checker so that I won't have to switch between Grammarly and Turnitin whenever I write something that needs to be published.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct my grammar mistakes in essays and thesis, making revisions faster with its quick word suggestions.

 ### 33. Effortless Writing with Real-Time Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yogesh Babu D. | Senior Security Research Analyst, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for work, and it keeps me correct, whether I'm writing a long paragraph, an email to a client, or producing a report. From small punctuation errors like missing a comma to getting it right when choosing between American and British English, Grammarly is an amazing tool. I love the real-time feedback, like restructuring sentences so they sound more natural. The icon of the tool hovers around my workspace without being overly intrusive, and I actually get joy out of using this tool without having to fight the tool. The initial setup was as easy as plug and play.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes while accepting the edits suggested by Grammarly, it tends to merge two successive words together, which at times is a bit irritating.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me avoid small punctuation errors and choose between American and British English. It provides real-time feedback, making sentences sound more natural, and integrates smoothly without being intrusive.

 ### 34. Effortlessly Improves Writing, Annoying Upgrade Prompts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akriti S. | Co-Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I find Grammarly really easy to use, especially with the underlined, bold text that helps me quickly identify errors. I appreciate that I can simply hover over the text, click, and receive a new word suggestion, which saves a lot of time and headaches. The initial setup was extremely easy—just one sign-in and I was able to use it without any hassle. It's been a great tool for improving my writing skills and solving the problematic errors I make while typing.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I guess it gives me a lot of prompts, like now you're supposed to use this and upgrade. Those nudges and prompts to upgrade to the pro version are extremely annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly improves my writing skills by solving spelling and typing errors across my devices. It's easy to use, and the underlined corrections save me time and headaches.

 ### 35. Grammarly Sharpened My Writing Workflow with Clear Explanations and Reliable Tone Checks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ava S. | Research Assistant, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I’ve used Grammarly for about two years across reports, literature reviews, and internal comms, and it genuinely sharpens my writing workflow. It’s not just about fixing mistakes; Grammarly explains them, so each edit turns into a quick learning moment. I also like the color-coded highlights that keep everything in one place—no tab-hopping—which is especially helpful when I’m juggling multiple sources. For a final pass, the clarity and tone scoring feels very reliable, and the AI assistant nudges me with references while flagging how readers might interpret trickier sections.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The mobile keyboard tends to lag when I’m editing quick notes or comments in Docs, and it feels noticeably less smooth than native keyboards. I also really wish there were an offline mode—I’d feel safer editing unpublished drafts and participant notes locally. I understand the cloud-based model, but I’d still prefer having more local and offline control when I’m working.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me get cleaner first drafts—fewer tracked changes later. Time I used to spend line-editing now goes into refining arguments or checking sources. On longer documents, Grammarly probably saves me 20–30 minutes of proofreading, and I’ve had fewer rounds of revision requests from my advisor.

 ### 36. Real-Time Writing Pro Tips in Your Browser—Grammarly Just Works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Weronika J. | Graduate and Postgraduate Student Services Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The most helpful aspect of using Grammarly is that it helps me be aware of the language I use and the errors I may make. I feel quite comfortable in using English, but sometimes I need some pro-tips to be consistent and clean in my English writing.

I like the idea of the Google Chrome extension that keeps Gramamrly active on the websites I browse. I do not have to remember to visit Grammarly website - it is by my side. All I have to do is stay logged in on the website.

It performs pretty well - it reacts in real time with the text I create, so that I can review the things I have just written. Also, the notion of 3 plans - one basic and two paid is sufficient to my needs. When I have English copywriting projects, I can switch to the Pro plan, whereas in everyday use, I can stay with Basic. I have never had to use the support, because I never encountered any problems, but I am pretty sure I can reach support via many channels when necessary.

I think that Grammarly has great potential in using AI tools. It may contain more pro tips or suggestions on how to improve the content. It may be extra paid if necessary, but I can imagine it can work as an AI agent: remembering my writing style or helping with choosing the best way of communication, adjusted to the person I am writing to.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I do not think some things are the least helpful. I did not have that kind of experience. I like the simplicity of Grammarly just the way it is.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me communicate in English in a fluent, native-like way. Even though I’m fluent in speaking and writing, I can still be sloppy in my writing—especially when I accidentally mix formal and informal tones. Grammarly solves that problem really well. As a result, my communication has become more consistent, and I feel more confident in what I write. It also helps me save time and avoid using the wrong wording or tone.

 ### 37. The Grammarly has been regular tool for me.

It has many features and it's real time suggestions, tone detection and readability improvements help me in writing more professionally.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it's suggestions are not suitable for my legal and technical writing and require manual review. It can also improve its support for specialized legal terminology and citation formats.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a law student, I have to draft many things like long assignments, research papers, case commentary and many more, so writing plays important role for my academic purpose and hence Grammarly plays an important role.

 ### 38. New Features Make Writing Easier, but Premium Still Has Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anmol U. | Commercial Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Since my last review, I’ve noticed the newer writing suggestions are more helpful, especially for improving clarity and tone. The overall editing experience feels smoother, and the AI-powered suggestions make it easier to refine drafts while keeping the interface simple and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly could improve the accuracy of some AI suggestions, as they don't always match the context or intended tone. It would also be helpful if more advanced features were available without requiring a Premium subscription.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of writing mistakes. It saves me time by automatically catching errors, making my work more professional.

 ### 39. Helpful for Catching Typos, but Too Many False Positives and Awkward Suggestions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It catches errors I make when I’m typing quickly and, in some cases, it even suggests better wording.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

False "positives" happen pretty often, and many proposals make no sense at all. The more specific the text, the more errors with Grammarly occur. Handling is far from being quick and easy. AI has nothing to do with the I, and takes too much time to correct the correcting. For many texts, I stop Grammarly.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at all. I want a quick and reliable solution to correct typing errors, not a solution to improve a business.

 ### 40. Grammarly has been a game-changer for my writing! I highly recommend it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Biplob N. | Care Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Lately, I've been impressed by Grammarly's newer features. Beyond the standard grammar and tone checks, I really like:

Generative AI (Grammarly GO) – It now helps me not just correct but also rewrite, shorten, expand, or change the tone of entire paragraphs with simple prompts, right inside the same interface.

Full-sentence rewriting – Instead of just flagging awkward phrasing, it now offers multiple alternative sentence structures, which have been a huge time-saver for making my writing more fluent and natural.

Improved formality slider – I can now smoothly adjust an email or message from casual to professional with one click, which is perfect when I'm writing to different audiences (like interview follow-ups vs. team updates).

Mobile keyboard fluency – Their mobile keyboard now offers nearly the same depth of suggestions as the desktop version, which helps me write cleanly even when I'm away from my computer.

Citation generation – For academic or professional writing, it now helps format citations (MLA, APA, etc.), which saves me from switching between tools.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Overall, I still find Grammarly very useful, but there are a few things that have made me like it less over time:

Over-suggestiveness – Sometimes it flags perfectly fine, natural phrasing and pushes for changes that make the writing sound robotic or overly formal, especially in creative or casual contexts.

Slower performance in long documents – When working with large Google Docs or Word files, Grammarly can lag or cause typing delays, which interrupt my workflow.

Occasional incorrect corrections – Especially with technical terms, industry jargon, or names, it sometimes suggests wrong changes, and if you're not careful, you might accept them.

The premium paywall feels aggressive – Constantly seeing upgrade prompts for features that used to be free (or feel like basic functionality) can be frustrating. For example, even the full-sentence rewrite suggestions are now locked behind a premium subscription.

Privacy concerns – Since Grammarly processes everything you type, some users (including me to some extent) worry about sensitive information being sent to their servers, especially for work-related or confidential documents.

No offline mode – Without an internet connection, Grammarly’s desktop app and browser extensions stop working entirely, which limits their usefulness when traveling or in areas with poor connectivity.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly tackles several key writing challenges, making my communication clearer and more professional. Faster editing, more polished communication, and greater confidence in everything I write. It’s like having a proofreader on standby!

 ### 41. Grammarly saves me from embarrassing typos every day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar K. | Risk Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One thing I recently liked about Grammarly is that it feels much better at understanding the context of what I am writing. Earlier, some suggestions felt a bit robotic, but now the recommendations are more natural and actually match the tone I am trying to use. I also like how it catches small mistakes without interrupting the flow too much. It has made writing emails and messages a little faster and less stressful for me.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing Grammarly can improve is making some of its suggestions feel less repetitive. At times, it pushes changes that make the writing sound a bit too formal or generic, even when the original sentence sounds more natural. I would also like more control over which types of suggestions I see, so I can focus only on the ones that are most relevant to my writing style.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me write faster with more confidence. I no longer waste time overthinking sentence structure or rereading emails ten times before sending. It also helps maintain consistency in tone across professional messages and documents. Overall, it makes my writing cleaner and saves me from small mistakes that could make me look careless.

 ### 42. Essential Tool for Polished, Professional Writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahril H. | Founder, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I mainly use Grammarly to improve the quality and clarity of my everyday writing. The real-time grammar and spelling corrections are very helpful because they immediately highlight mistakes while I’m typing, which saves time and makes the editing process much easier. I also appreciate the clarity and style suggestions. Grammarly doesn’t just fix errors; it also recommends better wording, shorter sentences, and improvements that make the text easier to read, which is especially useful when writing emails, reports, or any professional communication. I really like the tone detection feature, which analyzes whether a message sounds friendly, confident, or too formal, helping ensure that my writing matches the context. I find Grammarly very convenient because of the browser extension, which works directly in platforms like email services, online documents, and messaging tools. It makes it easy to get grammar and clarity suggestions without switching between different apps. Using Grammarly in tools like Google Docs and Microsoft Word helps catch mistakes and improve sentence structure while drafting or editing longer pieces. The initial setup of Grammarly was very straightforward and quick. After installing the browser extension and logging in, Grammarly started working automatically across many websites without needing to configure many settings. It provides more advanced suggestions such as clarity improvements, tone analysis, and style recommendations, making writing more polished and professional.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While Grammarly is very helpful overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. One issue is that some of the advanced features like the plagiarism checker, deeper writing insights, and certain AI rewriting tools are only available in the premium version. The free version is still useful, but it can feel a bit limited if you want access to the full set of features. Another thing I’ve noticed is that some suggestions don’t always perfectly match the context of what I’m trying to write. Occasionally, Grammarly recommends changes that make a sentence sound more formal or slightly unnatural, especially if I’m writing in a casual or conversational tone.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to improve writing quality and clarity, catching grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. It suggests clearer alternatives for readability and checks the tone for professionalism and appropriateness. Grammarly helps me write faster by offering real-time corrections and enhances professional communication.

**Reviewed by:** GANESH C. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I've been using Grammarly for over a year now, and it's become one of those tools I don't really think about anymore because it's always there when I need it. I use it mostly for emails and work-related communication, and it helps catch the small mistakes that can easily slip through when you're busy. What I like most is that it doesn't just fix grammar—it often suggests clearer ways to say things. It's not perfect, and I don't accept every suggestion, but overall it saves me time and helps me feel more confident about what I'm sending out.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

If I had to pick one thing, I'd say Grammarly can sometimes be a little too eager with its suggestions. Every now and then, it'll recommend changing something that already sounds fine to me, or it makes a sentence feel less like my own writing. It's not a major issue since I can just ignore those suggestions, but I still find myself double-checking before accepting everything.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly mainly solves the problem of overlooking small mistakes. When you’re proofreading your own writing, it’s so easy to skip right past typos or grammar slips because you already know what you meant to say. Grammarly acts like a second set of eyes that catches those errors before I hit send or publish

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayyan M. | Development Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really like the Chrome browser integration with Grammarly. When I'm writing something, it underlines my errors and fixes them immediately on the same page, so I don't have to copy and paste text individually. It resolves my issues right there without any extra steps. Grammarly is way better compared to other tools like Quilbot. Setting up Grammarly was simple; I just downloaded its extension and logged in through my Google account.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Honestly speaking, I don't think there is anything that needs to be improved for Grammarly. Just cut the price a bit. There is a slight delay while suggesting corrections.

I use Grammarly to formalize and summarize emails quickly for my clients, providing clarity. Its Chrome integration catches and fixes errors instantly, eliminating the need to copy and paste text.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate H. | Customer Success Rep, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It catches all my mistakes. I love feeling confident that I won't send obvious errors in my emails to people.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I’m not sure whether this is a Grammarly issue or something with the software I’m using, but I log into an app for project management. When I open the app, it pulls up the project “card” in a modal, and Grammarly doesn’t seem to recognize when I’m scrolling. Because of that, it ends up showing underlines and other markings in the wrong places.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in customer success, and I'm emailing customers every day. It's ensuring that the emails I send don't contain simple errors, and often helps me catch where I'm not clear in what I'm saying.
