**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen C H. | Director of Integrated Media and Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use it along with ChatGPT Pro which is far from perfect... It works great in my Social Media and email creations.. making them not AI sounding! Between both they offer my work and creatuons at a higher level than most!

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Nothing so far it's been great! Works each time in multiple languages where i use both Quebec French and Canadian English with ease!

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I helps me create content rich email outreach and social meida post for my clients and for my company that I work for in Digital Signage worldwide!

 ### 2. A Powerful Editing Tool That Respects the Author’s Voice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent H. | Audio / Video Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I rely on Grammarly for both professional and personal projects. It was instrumental during the final editing stages of a book I wrote for my son last year, and I am currently using it again for a second book I’m preparing for his upcoming birthday.

Beyond creative projects, I use Grammarly to vet my online product reviews. Running my content through the platform ensures that my feedback is coherent, accurate, and professional before I hit "submit."

One of its standout features is the ability to customize style and tone settings to match a specific audience. Furthermore, the tool’s ability to enforce adherence to formal style guides, such as APA or MLA, is invaluable for maintaining academic or professional standards. I appreciate that while Grammarly offers a wealth of suggestions, the final creative control remains with the author; it allows me to refine my work without losing my unique voice. I even used Grammarly to polish this review!

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Occasionally, Grammarly’s suggestions can feel a bit clinical. I often choose specific vocabulary to evoke a certain "dynamic" or "mood," and the AI’s alternatives don't always capture that intended nuance.

Additionally, I find the newer interface less intuitive than the original layout. I frequently revert to the "classic doc" feature because the user experience feels more streamlined and focused. Regarding the newer AI Writing Assistant: while it is a helpful tool for overcoming writer's block, I use it sparingly. My goal is for my writing to sound authentic and human, rather than artificially generated.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whether I am posting a public review or writing a private journal entry for my family, I want the prose to be polished and grammatically sound. While I strive for perfection on my own, Grammarly serves as a vital safety net. It is best utilized as a sophisticated tool for refinement—one that helps you communicate more clearly without stripping away your personal writing style.

 ### 3. A Sophisticated Writing Assistant that Coaches Rather Than Just Corrects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent H. | Audio / Video Engineer, E-Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The most impressive feature of Grammarly, in my view, is that you can set specific goals before you even start writing. This makes it easy to tailor its suggestions to your target audience and the domain you’re working in. For instance, if you’re writing a school assignment, selecting the Academic domain encourages a more structured, formal approach. On the other hand, if you’re drafting a casual email to a friend, you can choose a less rigid option that better fits that tone.

I also like the Intent setting, which allows you to clarify what you’re trying to do—whether that’s simply relaying facts, painting a vivid picture, or persuading the reader. For anyone in academia, the ability to follow standardized guidelines such as APA, MLA, and Chicago is especially useful.

As a writing assistant, Grammarly’s suggestions feel non-intrusive. It offers recommendations to strengthen a sentence, but you still have full creative control and can keep your original phrasing when you want to. It’s also helpful in those moments when you realize your draft isn’t conveying the emotional or intellectual context you intended; the “re-write” suggestions can help bring the tone back in line with the rest of your text.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While the tool is powerful, it does have its limitations. Since it’s an AI-based assistant, it sometimes struggles to fully grasp the nuance and context of more complex communication, and some of the finer points of the English language can still get “lost in translation.”

I’m also not a fan of the real-time grammar function when writing directly in a Grammarly document, because I find it distracting. I prefer to draft most of my work in Microsoft Word and then paste it into Grammarly afterward for a final polish. Along the same lines, the browser extension can feel intrusive during simple tasks that don’t require in-depth editing, so I usually keep it disabled.

Lastly, the subscription price feels quite steep for the advanced features. The annual cost is $144, although I’ve been able to cut that in half over the last two years by watching for their email promotional offers.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I view Grammarly as a guidance tool rather than a simple “autocorrect.” In my workflow, I draft a document first and then carefully review Grammarly’s suggestions to decide whether they truly match my intent and the direction I’m aiming for. Although some people may see tools like this as a crutch, I’ve found it supports my professional development because I actively learn from the explanations that accompany each recommendation. Overall, Grammarly helps me sharpen my ideas and make my communication clearer and consistently professional for both clients and colleagues.

 ### 4. Grammarly Takes the Pressure Off of my shoulders.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyson B. | Customer service representative., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

There are a lot of days when I don't feel like I'm a strong speller. Grammarly takes a lot of the pressure off of my work to make sure it sounds good and doesn't have errors.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The Grammarly pop-up can get in the way sometimes when I'm working. I will end up clicking on it when I don't mean to. It also corrects to the wrong version, i.e. Canceled vs. Cancelled.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking less time to complete my email work helps me to sound more confident with my customers and co-workers.

 ### 5. Grammarly Keeps My social media and day to day tasks looking good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis F. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It helps me with my everyday work, I spend alot of time writing captions and replying to customers on a large platform and grammerly protects me and my brand, making sure punctuation, grammar, and spelling are all good!

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

That it can glitch sometimes or offer too much AI use, making the sentance sound robotic or not like a genuine human response.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am on a team Grammarly account, which is beneficial for pricing for the company, which makes our team work a little harder to make sure we sounds literate and look professional within all the different platforms we use and integrate with.

 ### 6. Grammarly: Easy and Effective for Perfecting English

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how Grammarly helps me express myself correctly in English in my emails and documents, improving punctuation and sophisticating words and phrases. It is also very valuable to me because it polishes and corrects the grammar of everything I write, especially in English, since I handle Spanish better. I find it very easy to use on my iPhone and in Word on my work computer. The initial setup is very easy and good, although it has a cost. Also, I recommend Grammarly to almost all my friends, that's why I give it a 10.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I would like Grammarly to improve by being able to translate from Spanish to English, as it is necessary when I don't know how to write in English or how to express certain phrases. Although Grammarly is in almost everything, this feature would be very useful.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me express myself correctly in English, improving sentences and punctuation to make it look more professional. However, it could improve if it offered a Spanish to English translation feature.

 ### 7. Quick and Accurate Writing Enhancement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratyush K. | Project Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly is quick and accurate, providing detailed solutions while I'm writing. I appreciate the sentence improvement feature, as it reframes sentences properly and suggests synonyms for professionalism. Even if my pronunciation is wrong, it corrects and improves it perfectly. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be super easy, just requiring the enabling of a few settings.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The only thing that can be improved is Grammarly's proper understanding of the statement. It should show an understanding of emotions and add up to the tone of the text. If the text is emotional, it should reflect that, and if it's angry, it should add a corresponding tag.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to enhance my writing by checking grammar and spelling, making emails professional. It's quick and accurate, providing detailed solutions and improving sentence structure. It suggests synonyms for professionalism, even correcting wrong pronunciations.

 ### 8. Catches Mistakes Fast and Makes Writing Clearer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It helps me catch grammatical, spelling, and punctuation mistakes before I submit anything. I also suggests clear wording and improves sentence structure without making the writing sound unnatural. It's useful for writing emails, assignments, and reports because it saves time and helps me write more confidently.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes its suggestions are unnecessary or change the meaning of what I'm trying to say. And it should give more of the advanced features included in the free version.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of making writing mistakes and having unclear sentences in documents, emails, and assignments. It helps to check grammar, spelling, punctuation, and readability. This saves me much time and helps me communicate more clearly and professionally. As a student, it also gives me confidence that my work is polished before I submit it.

 ### 9. Intuitive and Useful, But Can Be Intrusive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasja S. | Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I usually use Grammarly for personal things such as emails, reports, and writing. It helps me with my blind spots of grammar and helps me word myself in a way that comes across clearer. I like the fact that it is intuitive because you can tell it when a word is used that is slang and add it to your personal dictionary. Even though I write a lot of professional emails and correspondence, sometimes I like to use slang or jargon that's well-used within my team. Being able to add my own words to a dictionary helps me to use these effectively. The initial setup of Grammarly was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it's very intrusive, like the bubble that comes up for edits can be in the worst place for what I'm trying to do. I often shift between screens and pages to get my work done. I wish there was a way to turn it off until after I am done writing my email or passage.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me with my grammar blind spots and clarifies my writing.

**Official Response from Natalia K:**

 ### 10. Good for grammar, meh for overcorrecting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santosh M. | Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love the real-time feedback. No need to finish a draft just to hunt for mistakes later. It underlines stuff as you type and suggests better phrasing instantly. Makes writing so much smoother.

Also, it catches tone and clarity, not just grammar. Like if an email sounds too harsh, it offers a softer version. Super helpful at work.

And it explains the fix, so you actually learn over time.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it overcorrects stuff that was fine to begin with.

Gets a little too robotic—tries to make everything sound formal or clean, even when casual works better.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems it solves:

Typos and grammar slips you miss while typing fast

Tone that sounds rude or weird without you realizing it

Awkward, clunky sentences that could be clearer

Second-guessing every word you write

How that benefits me:

Saves time — no full re-reads just to catch small mistakes

Makes emails and messages sound more professional or appropriate

Helps me write smoother without overthinking

 ### 11. Catches Mistakes Fast and Makes Writing Clearer and More Professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel A. | Customer Support Specialist, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love how it helps me catch mistakes and improve my writing without slowing me down. It’s like having a second pair of eyes that’s always there, making suggestions that actually make my messages and documents clearer and more professional.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the interface can feel a bit cluttered, especially when multiple suggestions pop up at once. Navigating between corrections or understanding why certain suggestions are made could be a bit smoother. A cleaner, more intuitive UI would make it even easier to use.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me write clearly and confidently, catching mistakes I might miss and suggesting improvements to tone and style. With integrations into email, Slack, and Google Docs, it fits seamlessly into my daily workflow, saving time and helping me communicate more effectively across different platforms

 ### 12. Grammarly Keeps My Marketing Writing Polished and On-Brand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parul P. | Product Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

As a marketing professional, I have to write a lot of marketing content, and in marketing, you can’t afford spelling mistakes. Grammarly helps me with grammar checks, rephrasing paragraphs, improving word correctness, and even letting me change the tone of the message when needed.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

For writing and grammar, this is my favorite tool. So far, I don’t think any other tool has helped me this much in one place.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my career as a marketing professional, writing is one of the most important parts of my life, and I need a tool that can help me catch silly grammar mistakes, rephrase paragraphs, adjust the tone of a paragraph, and refine my writing skills overall. Grammarly helps me a lot with all of these things.

 ### 13. Seamless Writing Help Across Apps with Insightful Weekly Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love using Grammarly. It fits seamlessly into my day-to-day tasks and automatically provides suggestions to my writing, no matter what application I am using. I love that it helps me easily catch typos or points out when my writing isn't the most clear or concise. It integrates well with Microsoft products as well as any text I type in Google Chrome. I also love the weekly writing reports that Grammarly sends to my email. I enjoy reflecting on the insights each and every week.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think the only thing I dislike about Grammarly is that the suggestions feature is somewhat limited with the free version. Without a paid subscription, you don't get as many in-depth writing suggestions. However, the free version is still great for high-level grammar and spelling edits.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly saves me hours each week in proofreading my work. Grammarly quickly catches typos, spelling errors, and grammatical errors without having to reread my writing several times. Even in this review, it quickly caught a couple of errors I could fix quickly.

- Generative AI features: Recently, Grammarly added AI-powered writing assistance, helping with drafting, rewriting, and brainstorming.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Limitations of Grammarly
• Over-standardization of writing: It sometimes pushes text toward a “neutral corporate style,” which can strip away personality or creative flair.
• AI hallucinations: The newer generative AI features occasionally produce inaccurate or misleading suggestions.
• Context blind spots: Grammarly doesn’t always understand nuanced meaning, cultural references, or specialized jargon, which can lead to incorrect corrections.
• Subscription cost: The free version is limited, and the premium plan can feel expensive compared to alternatives.

 ### 16. Streamlines Editing with Precision and Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G. | Web Editor - IveyPoker.com

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to edit documents for my clients, and it streamlines the editing process, saving me hours in editing tasks. I appreciate that it helps me present professional documents that are free from common grammar errors. The AI Chat feature is also valuable as it allows me to check for specific style or grammar items, like passive voice or redundancy. The initial setup was pretty easy, taking less than 5 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The model does not learn writing styles as well as some programs like ChatGPT. It also has trouble with some slang or industry-specific terms.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to edit documents for clients, presenting professional, error-free work. It streamlines my editing process, saving hours, and the AI Chat feature helps with style and redundancy checks.

 ### 17. Vital Tool for Non-Native Professional Writers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly daily for professional emails, internal docs, blog posts, customer-facing copy, and Slack messages. Since English isn't my first language, I love how it catches grammar mistakes in real time, making me confident when I send messages. The real-time grammar and spelling suggestions are great, especially how it works seamlessly across Gmail, Slack, Google Docs, and Notion. The tone detector is useful for realizing when a message sounds harsher than intended. The browser extension is super stable, providing fast suggestions. The initial setup was straightforward, taking less than 5 minutes for an individual user.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The premium pricing feels high if you compare it to general AI tools that now do similar things. Some suggestions can be too pushy, particularly the rewrite ones, which sometimes change the meaning of what I want to say. The Spanish support is much weaker than English, which I would love to see improved. Occasionally, the extension stops working in some apps and you have to refresh. The desktop app feels less polished than the browser extension and I rarely use it. The tone rewrites for 'more confident' or 'more diplomatic' sometimes change the meaning more than I'd like. It would be nice if Grammarly worked better in apps like Notion (it's there but the inline suggestions are not as smooth as in Google Docs).

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for professional emails and documents, as it catches grammar mistakes and tone issues, boosting my confidence. Real-time suggestions prevent mistakes and awkward phrasing, helping me trust what I send and write faster, avoiding repeated re-reading.

 ### 18. Essential for Spell-Checking, Yet Needs Greater Accessibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim C. | Film Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like Grammarly for writing, proofreading, and correcting spelling mistakes. Sometimes I overlook certain errors or I’m not sure how to spell a word, and Grammarly makes things easier by removing the need to stop and research the correct spelling. On top of that, the initial setup was simple and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I wish that Grammarly is more accessible and hope I can be able to control all to look at the spelling and revise since using multiple apps on the computer and oftentimes confused to triggers.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly makes my life easier by helping with spelling errors, especially when I overlook or misspell words.

 ### 19. A Must-Have Tool for Flawless Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to proofread and correct pretty much every word I type, and it's a godsend because spelling is not my forte. It saves me from sending sloppy, unreadable messages, emails, and texts by providing hints and suggestions when I'm making mistakes or my writing is too wordy. I love that it's so easy to use, especially with the Google Chrome Extension that automatically works on every webpage. The color underlining helps me see what needs editing or what could be better. If I see the red underline, I know there's an error, which is easy to fix before hitting send, preventing post-send regrets. It comes up with punctuation and spelling suggestions that are useful and needed. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Perhaps an autocorrect function for common mistakes it knows I make or emailing me a list of the ones I make frequently so I can learn to spell and avoid them in the future?

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to proofread and correct my writing, saving me from sending sloppy messages. It provides helpful suggestions and highlights errors automatically, making it easy to fix mistakes before sending.

 ### 20. Polished, ProfessioUseful App for Everyday Writing Needsnal Writing Made Easy with Grammarly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushee S. | Special Educator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is how it makes writing easier and more polished. It quickly catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes while also suggesting better word choices and clearer sentence structures. I especially appreciate the tone and clarity suggestions, which help make my writing sound more professional and confident. It’s simple to use across different platforms and has really improved my overall writing quality.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that sometimes its suggestions can feel overly strict or not fully match the intended tone or context. Occasionally, it flags sentences that are actually correct, which means I still need to review suggestions carefully. Also, some advanced features are locked behind the premium version, which can limit the full experience in the free plan.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps solve common writing problems like grammar mistakes, unclear sentences, and tone issues. It makes my writing more accurate, professional, and easy to understand. This benefits me as a teacher by saving time on proofreading, improving my confidence while writing, and helping me communicate my ideas more clearly in emails, documents, and everyday writing.

 ### 21. Empowers My Writing and Boosts Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alissa C Z. | Director of Family Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for letters, editing my writing, and help with ideas. My favorite aspect of Grammarly is choosing the way I want my writing to have an impact. By changing from engaging to professional, it takes my thoughts and makes them sound more professional. I always write out my entire idea and then ask Grammarly to give me different versions of how I want it to sound. I usually use engaging. It's very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

On occasion it erases my writing and I need to start over again. Changing the need to highlight what I write would be incredibly helpful, and make it more fluid.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps with spelling, punctuation, and reconceptualizing my writing, which is crucial for me due to dyslexia.

 ### 22. Essential for Error-Free Content with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soumyaa J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for proofreading content like blogs, articles, social posts, and emails. I love that the Grammarly extension seamlessly ensures error-free content across different sites, webpages, and document formats. I appreciate the sentence structure suggestions every time I type. The real-time spelling and grammar corrections save me a lot of time without switching platforms, making my writing more concise and well-articulated by catching spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and spacing errors. The suggestions are easy to review and accept with just one click, especially helpful on tight deadlines. The premium features are reasonably priced, delivering great value if writing is a big part of your daily work. The initial setup was pretty seamless, with easy download and login processes. Even the main app or web version requires just a simple login.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

My biggest challenge is around language preference. The suggestions should not align with just Indian or British English. There should be an option in the extension to align preferences to American English, which will help avoid unnecessary corrections. The interface can also be a bit distracting sometimes. The floating widget occasionally appears in inconvenient spots on the screen and needs to be manually moved which is a hassle, especially when working on longer documents. Also, the free version is extremely limited when it comes to clarity and sentence structure suggestions and should be increased to at least 10 in a day.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for proofreading content. It improves readability, eliminates typos, and makes my writing concise. The extension is essential for error-free content across platforms, saving time with easy one-click corrections. Premium features are reasonably priced and valuable.

 ### 23. Effective Real-Time Writing Help with Smooth Integrations Across Your Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyam V. | Graduate Apprentice Engineer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is very effective for improving everyday writing, catching grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes in real time. Its suggestions around clarity, tone, and conciseness are particularly helpful when I’m drafting professional emails, reports, or documentation. It also integrates smoothly with browsers, MS Word, Google Docs, and email platforms, so it’s easy to use across different workflows without disrupting productivity.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Some of the more advanced suggestions are locked behind the premium version, which can feel a bit restrictive for individual users. At times, Grammarly can be overly aggressive with its recommendations and may slightly shift the intended meaning, so a manual review is still necessary. Also, technical or domain-specific writing isn’t always interpreted perfectly, which means I sometimes need to double-check those sections more carefully.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly reduces writing errors and improves communication quality, especially for non-native English speakers and professionals who write frequently. It saves time on proofreading, improves confidence in written communication, and helps maintain a consistent professional tone across documents.

 ### 24. Solid grammar fix for everyday writing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan J. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The Chrome extension is what got me hooked. It quietly fixes grammar while I’m typing in emails or just chatting. Saves me from embarrassing mistakes without breaking my flow. Works across most sites which is genuinely useful day to day. Only thing is sometimes it clashes with other extensions I have running, but nothing dealbreaking. Overall does exactly what it promises.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The constant upgrade prompts get old pretty fast. Almost every other suggestion has a ‘Premium’ tag on it which feels a bit pushy when you’re just trying to get through your inbox.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly helps me come across more clearly and professionally when writing emails or messages. English isn’t always easy to get right under pressure and having something catch mistakes in real time takes that stress away. My writing just looks cleaner without me having to think too hard about it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hesam M. | Research And Development Control Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly mostly for writing papers and emails, and it really helps by resolving my grammatical errors and typos. I also appreciate how it adjusts the tone for emails and other writings based on the situation. The best thing about Grammarly is that it's very easy to use, and the quality of its suggestions is really good, often matching the style of writing I want.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes there are some revisions that I do not need. It would be great if it is easier for me to add some exceptions. Also, when I'm writing in LaTeX for academic papers, it's not that easy to use Grammarly when it finds many false errors in mathematical equations. It would be good to include some features to exclude certain parts or extend its applicability to mathematical equations or papers.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly resolves my grammatical errors, corrects typos, and adjusts the tone of emails and writings based on the situation.

 ### 30. Versatile Tool for Writers with Some Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for my writing, emails, and newsletters. I like that it highlights the mistake or the words in question and lets you decide if it’s correct or not. It’s valuable in the writing process because sometimes you want it to be a certain way, and even though Grammarly may think it’s a mistake, it is done intentionally, so having that feature, allowing you to choose or dismiss, is important.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I don’t really feel like the feature that helps detect AI is currently correct. I feel like it highlights a section but you don’t know exactly what they think you’ve used AI for so it’s hard to understand and if someone who only uses AI for editing, it’s frustrating. If it actually highlighted the sentence or the paragraph instead of just jumping to a vague section would be more helpful.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly catches typos, spelling errors, and grammar issues. It lets me decide whether a suggestion is right, which is great for intentional style choices.

 ### 31. Effortlessly Eliminates Typos, A Must-Have Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina T. | Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to correct my spelling and small grammar mistakes in emails and writings. It's very useful for emails, especially when typing fast and there are typos in the email body. Grammarly is great because it catches all of them. I like how easy it is to use, and the fact that you can use it in multiple apps just by downloading the Chrome extension. The initial setup was very easy, and I think it is a great tool that most people should have to avoid typos and grammar errors.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I don't have anything I dislike at the moment. I think it is a great tool to have, and everyone should have it to avoid typos and grammar errors in their emails

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct my spelling and small grammar mistakes in emails, catching typos and making it very easy to use across multiple apps.

 ### 32. Increase your productivity with a tool that helps you to express your ideas better, but AI took the lead

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Serna M. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The fact that it is there, wherever you are writing, makes it an invisible tool that is helping every second without annoying interferences.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think Grammarly is lacking the contextual part that makes AI really powerful. Other tools are starting to offer the same capabilities, but integrated with other AI skills, which is making Grammarly start to be left behind

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Product Manager, I write a lot, and by a lot, I mean a lot. User stories, briefs, research summaries, hypotheses, and reports for my stakeholders, and for each one of them, Grammarly helps me to make my text clearer. But also, when I have an idea of what to communicate but don't have a clear idea of where to start, I just add a good prompt and the AI provides a really good output to start refining.

 ### 33. Highly Reliable and Integrative Writing Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad Asif G. | Assistant professor , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I have been using Grammarly for the last ten years, and I find it to be a very good software. It integrates well with Microsoft Office, which is great. Grammarly helps me write with correct grammar and error-free content, which was especially helpful when I wrote my entire thesis. I also appreciate that Grammarly eliminates the need for separate plagiarism software, which is a significant benefit. It assists me with composing sentences automatically, making use of good and impressive sentence structures. I love that it corrects typo mistakes automatically and provides suggestions for corrections. The punctuations, full stops, and commas are all taken care of, which is something I like most about Grammarly. The user interface is very good, allowing me to rephrase or correct grammatical mistakes directly without needing to switch windows. Activation and initial setup were very easy, making it quick and easy to use, which is great for students who may not know much about software.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Lots of the time, when I'm using very specific terminology because I'm an ecologist and biologist, it's not recognized by Grammarly at all. There's a need for improvement in Grammarly so that the database includes scientific terminology. Most of the time, the scientific names of animals are not recognized by the software. I think that should be taken care of.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me write with correct grammar, error-free content, and impressive sentences. It automatically corrects typos and suggests improvements, eliminating the need for separate plagiarism software and helping compose better sentences.

 ### 34. Real-time grammar and tone suggestions for professional copy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen V. | Marketing Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The real-time grammar and tone suggestions are what stand out. It catches issues as I type rather than requiring a separate proofreading pass, and the tone detector is genuinely useful for professional emails where I want to gauge how a message will land before sending it.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The tone detector needs to improve. Overcorrecting passive voice and sentence length is at times unnecessary.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catching typos, grammar slips, and awkward phrasing before they go out on email, Slack, LinkedIn.

 ### 35. Comprehensive Writing Assistance, Needs Better Synonym Suggestions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fahad A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to make articles without mistakes. I appreciate that Grammarly not only corrects grammar mistakes but also detects plagiarism so that content doesn't overlap. I like how the extension works great in every field and functions properly. It's beneficial because there are no grammar mistakes in the article at all. Setting up Grammarly was too easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think they should improve the synonym suggestions. When I double-click on any word, it suggests relevant words for replacement, but it suggests irrelevant ones, which don't fit perfectly.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to make articles written without mistakes. It ensures no grammar mistakes and detects plagiarism, preventing content overlap. Its extension works great in every field.

 ### 36. Indispensable for Error-Free Writing in Small Businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa B. | Grant Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly gives me peace of mind that I'm not missing any large errors, especially when I'm fatigued or working on a big project. I use it as my final check after I've already done my edits. I like that Grammarly works wherever I'm writing—whether in Google Docs, Gmail, or our CRM system. It's convenient because it checks my writing anywhere without having to leave and go to an outside webpage or copy and paste my writing. The initial setup was very easy; I don't even really remember having to do anything.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it will re-pop the same suggestion after I've already asked it to ignore it. That gets annoying. And there are some platforms where, for whatever reason, the edits don't work properly and I have to type them manually. I'm not sure what causes it to happen, but on some rare occasions when I click the red underline and ask it to make the edits, it will attempt to do so but it fails. I don't know what causes that to happen but it would be great if it were fixed.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly gives me peace of mind by catching errors I might miss, especially when tired. It's my final check after editing, and I love that it integrates seamlessly across platforms like Google Docs and Gmail without needing to copy and paste.

 ### 37. Essential Tool for ESL Professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrique J. | Senior Information Security Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly every day for both work and personal use, primarily for proofreading emails and documents. I find it very helpful for adjusting the writing tone; it allows me to choose the audience style, whether for a professional setting, a knowledgeable audience, or a more business-oriented context. It also keeps my informal writing correct when I'm writing to friends and family. As an English-as-a-second-language speaker, Grammarly helps me maintain a consistent tone and voice in my professional writing while allowing me to write in an informal yet correct English syntax and voice on the personal side. Setting up Grammarly is pretty straightforward with its Windows app, Microsoft Office tool, and mobile app. I would absolutely recommend using Grammarly to friends and colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

So far, I have found that the browser built-in widget and the web-based app may produce different results, not wildly inconsistent, but somewhat different. Sometimes it may change the voice slightly.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly daily to proofread emails and documents. It helps me maintain a consistent tone in professional writing and express myself correctly in informal writing.

 ### 38. Perfect for Crafting Formal and Concise Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mark s. | Area representative for sons and retirement

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for writing my emails, texting, and all the letters I write, and it helps make all those corrections. I appreciate that it primarily makes my emails or letters into formal ones, which is something I like. The features they offer, like being able to make a statement excitable, formal, or shorten it, really makes it easier for me to ensure all my grammar is correct when sending emails to associates and friends. I think the features are great, especially when I want to make a formal declaration or need to shorten text for quick communication. I've really been enjoying Grammarly since I've had it, and the setup was pretty easy thanks to the assistance I received.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

At times I wouldn’t I’m not able to transfer into my document. At that time, I have to rewrite it as I see it on grammar. That sometimes very frustrating when I have to do that.

I use Grammarly for writing emails and texts. It helps make my messages formal when needed and ensures all grammar is correct. The shortening feature is great for creating concise and readable statements quickly.

 ### 39. Boosts Writing Confidence with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian D. | Co-Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love using Grammarly because it makes me look like a better writer than I am. It corrects the grammatical errors I repeatedly make, and it's incredibly easy to use, taking just about two minutes to set up. The tool helps immensely with punctuation and misspellings, allowing me to type freely and then correct the grammar afterward. It's probably one of the best tools I've used for making me look smarter than I really am.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There are some applications where Grammarly doesn't necessarily work properly. It's tough to pop open the Grammarly red button that helps me see what the big picture changes are. Occasionally, Grammarly doesn't understand the context of my sentence and makes a change that could actually be negative to what I was looking to state.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for spell check and grammar check in my emails, documents, web copy, and marketing. It makes it easy to freeform type and corrects grammar, punctuation, and misspellings, making me look like a better writer.

 ### 40. Effective Tool for Professional Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ke M. | Safety & Security Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I find Grammarly to be an effective tool. It helps me significantly, especially when I aim to reach a target audience and effectively communicate my message. Not everyone is a perfect English writer or speaker, so Grammarly is invaluable in assisting with that. I value the writing tools, spell check, and grammar features, as they allow me to rephrase and adapt my writing style, helping me with formal writing and understanding where my wording stands. Its ability to help me structure proper terminology, improve my writing style, and align with proper punctuation is particularly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I'm trying to understand if I bought a yearly subscription, how I can get other people under my own membership, with out increasing fees. I guess that's just not totally clear. Be able to use what I've already paid for if I have so many participants under me. That's the hard part to really understand.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for proofreading and structuring emails, memos, and professional letters. It helps with proper terminology, wording, and teaches different writing styles. It aligns my communication and improves punctuation from an executive standpoint.

I love that Grammarly has the ability to run in the background, making it usable across multiple platforms, whether using a laptop or a mobile device. I also enjoy that it has a lot of easy-to-understand functions. The functions available are valid or useful in what I'm using Grammarly for. I also appreciate its ability to look at different ways of structuring things. I found the initial setup very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I would love the ability to toggle tone between different chapters or different characters. If there was a way to identify who those were, for example, if there was a style of document or a way to do that. So that different characters could be audited or checked over by Grammarly to ensure that they keep to a tone or personality style while narrating or writing under that particular character.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me restructure sentences and grammar in ways I didn't consider and create a tone based on my settings.

 ### 42. A Lifesaver for Academic Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin J. | Registered Nurse, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I used Grammarly for two years, and it helped me get really good grades on my papers and discussion posts. It's definitely something I would recommend because it was very good. Grammarly made it easy to correct any grammar and punctuation errors when I was writing my papers, and it also suggested ways to make my ideas sound more formal and engaging. I found it very easy to use; once I understood the platform, the tools presented allowed me to change words and tone, which was helpful for my posts and papers during my master's degree. I also appreciated how Grammarly automatically highlighted incorrect grammar or punctuation, and suggested different tones to improve my writing. It saved me a lot of time and made the process of writing less nerve-wracking.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think you should be able to choose what kind of tone if you wanted more of a natural tone. Some of the words in suggestions didn't fit my personal style, so I still had to put my spin on things.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helped correct grammar errors, made my ideas more formal and engaging, and provided useful word suggestions and tone adjustments, which saved me time and improved my writing for papers and discussion posts.

 ### 43. Essential for Clear, Concise Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loren F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for business emails and letters, and it helps me with everything. I'm a terrible speller, but it helps me with that. I think faster than I type, so it always finds missing words that make my sentences actually make sense. It helps me get the fluff out of my writing by eliminating unnecessary words, making my emails easier to read and understand, and helps me get my points across much better than before. The initial setup was very easy, and I use Grammarly wherever it works.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I have situations where I don't put a comma in after a word. I will see that the word has been underlined. I manually add the comma. Unfortunately, the underlining is still on after I put the comma in. When I click the word, it shows I need a comma even though I manually added one. However, when you accept the comma, Grammarly just adds another comma. This is a pain in the ass to fix every time.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me with spelling and missing words, making my writing clear and concise. It improves the readability of my emails and ensures my points are communicated effectively.

 ### 44. Intuitive, Effective Writing Aid with Minor Connectivity Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel S.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love how easy Grammarly is to use. It underlines where I need to add a comma, period, or improve sentence structure. It's user-friendly, and I love using it as an extension with Docs and Word. I can easily open up the sidebar and go through the accurate suggestions it gives me. I also really like their AI detector, which is really helpful. Despite the price being a bit high, I think it's worth it, and I plan to keep using it as long as I'm in school.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The price is a bit high, which is annoying, but I think it's worth it, so I keep buying it. Sometimes it doesn't load well, especially if the connection is laggy, which makes me feel like I have to be an editor for Grammarly. And then, sometimes I just don't like the suggestions, but at least I don't have to use them if I don't want to.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to fix my writing errors, like spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I also find their AI detector really helpful.

 ### 45. Streamlines Writing, Needs Refinement in Suggestions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy B. | Associate Professor of Earth Sciences, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly mostly for preparing lectures and online materials for my university students, and I also use it in just about every other writing application I need. Grammarly helps me update my first draft to a second draft or even a final version once I've reviewed all of the suggestions. For the most part, the corrections are ones that I would make upon a second review, so it speeds up the writing process overall. The initial setup was pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I sometimes wrestle with Grammarly for some of the suggestions. One example is I'm a geologist, and I often use the word 'rock,' but Grammarly insists on substituting 'stone' for 'rock.' I'd like more flexibility in correcting some of the suggestions that better fit my writing style. It has taken me a while to get used to the little icon that pops up. Sometimes it gets in the way, even still after several years of usage.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to turn my first drafts into polished final versions by reviewing suggestions, which speeds up my writing process.

 ### 46. Grammarly Is a Game-Changer

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I struggle with typing, and that's why Grammarly is a game-changer for me. It efficiently corrects my punctuation and typos, allowing me to focus on my message instead of proofreading. When I need to tighten up a paragraph, its suggestions are incredibly helpful, saving me valuable time. Plus, it's not limited to Google Docs; it enhances my writing across social media, too. While I'm typically not an advocate for AI, I can't deny that Grammarly has truly proven its worth as an essential writing tool.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Occasionally, I run into a little hiccup with Grammarly when it doesn't process my requests because my writing can get pretty graphic or violent—after all, I write true crime! I totally understand why that happens, but it can slow me down a bit. Thankfully, it seems like Grammarly has adapted to my style, so it doesn't happen as often as it used to. We've definitely learned and grown together through this experience!

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly speeds up my revisions, fixing my typos and awkwardly sentence structure.

 ### 47. Phenomenal Writing Enhancement and Easy Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve C. | Owner / President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I appreciate how Grammarly has supported me in different writing endeavors like writing a book, social media posts, and emails. It keeps my writing focused on the subject matter, ensuring correct spelling and punctuation. I like that it interfaces with many other writing tools, which is important for me. It works perfectly with MS Word and all social media platforms. I use Grammarly with Gmail daily, and this integration works phenomenally well. The setup was easy, as it just involved downloading the app and adding the extension to my chosen tool.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Not sure if this is a Grammarly issue or an Adobe issue, but Grammarly will not work with InDesign. I have decided to cancel my subscription with Adobe as Grammarly works well with MS Word.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to keep my writing focused and ensure correct spelling and punctuation. It integrates well with tools like MS Word and Gmail, making my writing tasks easier.

 ### 48. Essential Tool for ESL Users with Some Mobile Quirks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how Grammarly has improved so much over the past few years, constantly getting better. One of my favorite aspects is how it helps me with sentence structures. I also enjoy the look of the website, especially when I'm working on my computer; it's really good. Using it as a plugin on Chrome is super useful because it helps correct my emails directly in my email account. It just gives me a peace of mind knowing that my writing is being verified, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes I find that it messes up when I'm using it on my phone. The app is not really good. Like, the keyboard thing is not really good. Sometimes it adds in the text that it's verified, so I have the same text twice. Other times, it's not really noticing errors. The Grammarly keyboard on my phone is very glitchy. I've been using Grammarly for years and improvements have not been ramped up as much as on the website, and this should be on the top of the list of things that should be fixed. I used iPhones.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me ensure my writing is error-free since English isn't my first language. It lets me learn from mistakes, boosting my confidence. It's handy on both computer and phone for checking emails and articles, offering peace of mind with its corrections.

 ### 49. Efficiently crafting professional responses

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Editing is quick and close. The hovering icon allows quick editing, and the AI prompts have assisted in creating communication in much less time than it would take me to generate manually.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes, the icon disappears (I assume there is a conflict with other running tools like Microsoft Editor). When you rely on the tool to be available, it is frustrating when it isn't accessible. On very large documents, the editing icon isn't available until Grammarly finishes the entire document.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The length of time to craft professional communication and convey thoughts properly. Using Grammarly cuts the editing time by 90%. It catches many errors, not only in spelling but also in grammar and flow.

 ### 50. Great for Grammar, Language, and Tone - Bad for Gen AI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milyin A. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love everything that Grammarly is doing. But recently in paid plans it has brought up Generative AI capabilities as well. As a Grammar tool, I want it to help improve mails and not write for me. Here's the thing, either focus on Grammar only, or if you have to do Gen AI be as good as ChatGPT or Gemini. The current solutions of Generating content are half baked, visually obstructive and are are far from perfect. The simple and effortless nature of Grammarly is being shadowed by there overwhelming desire to stay relevant. The AI and Plag checker have got from ok to bad. I know AI detection is extremely difficult, but there false positives are so high that I have stopped using entirely a while ago.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think they should focus on Grammar related work, where it behaves as a AI assistant rather than Gen AI writer. Pivoting towards having a seperate extension for Gen AI capabilities makes sense, because then if I ever feel the need I can come back to it. At the same time it will remain simple and unobstructive too

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business is using Grammarly for writing content with proper Grammar and language. It helps us change the content between American and British English as well. I use Grammarly frequently for Plagiarism checking as well, but have found that to be unreliable to say the least. My use case involves using Grammatly with my browser (Brave and Chrome browser) to check language/grammar in emails, Google Docs and ensuring a neutral unbiased tone.
